I have never gone through such a horrible approval process for an application. If they offered me a free apartment, I wouldn't take it. They say things bounce even when I showed that it didn't. They harass you for all your assets. They make your child a co-applicant. Please say yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. They are not the only game in town.

Lived here for 2 years and just signed a renewal. Wasn't too happy about the increase. However, the interior renovations completed in my unit was well worth the price. Nice and quite, the office team is wonderful and the new renovations are done well!

If you're a professional looking to live in the Tampa area, there are countless places without such incompetent staff. I'll just mention a few things below. (A) I never received my security deposit. After attempting to resolve this with the staff and getting the run around, for several months, I'm being forced to litigate. The usual response is "It'll be in the mail this week", and yet the check never comes. I have documentation and contemporaneous evidence to support this, as well numerous voicemails saved from them. Essentially, the things that were communicated to me directly contradict each other. (And its all documented.) If this happened to you as well, please know you're not the only one. (B) Also, the maintenance staff comes in without giving the required notice. I have written documents to support this, showing that work was done while we weren't home, with advance notice requested, and none given. This can be an issue if you have valuables and sensitive documents in the apartment. (C) One big complaint that other residents had when I live here, was that there was a lack on attention to the dog excrement problem. You'll encounter that stuff anytime you go for a walk. This has been a constant complaint from residents on the apartment portal, and was never resolved by management. (At least during my 12 month stay, as evidenced by the comments in the resident portal website.) There were other incidents that I won't mention. My conclusion is, please consider looking elsewhere, there are countless better communities nearby. Of the places I've lived in Tampa, this was hands-down the worst.
TERRIBLE. 1) Management is incompetent, unhelpful, lacking empathy or the ability to care or do their job, and confrontational. -One of their property managers, Megan, was rude and confrontational. She continued to try and bait me & argue w/ me when I came in to discuss ongoing concerns. She is completely unprofessional & a liability to Gray Star/Infinity. 2) Constant Maintenance issues. We had more work orders in this apartment (we've lived here for 4 months), then we've EVER had in any other apartment. -Leaking Dishwasher, Sink that doesn't drain, Dryer not drying, Pantry doors falling off hinges, AC unit that doesn't cool. 3) Construction ALWAYS. Monday-Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Don't try and work from home. -Management doesn't tell you what they are working on or who they are with. They don't wear uniforms or identification. I opened my vertical blinds to 6 men standing right outside my screen room door while I was home alone. -Workers will enter your apartment with little to no notice. 4) Trash Valet is inconsistent on a good day. Infinity forces you to participate & pay monthly but if you have a problem with the service, Infinity wants you to call them directly & not Infinity. Just Terrible.
This place use to be great but it's just getting worst by the day which is why so many people have moved out. Here's some advice, if you do move here, do NOT get a bottom floor unit with someone living above you or you will be living the nightmare that I'am living, my upstairs neighbor is extremely loud especially during the late hours, slamming things and stumping hard on the floors, I have reported this several times to the leasing office and was told that there is nothing they can do, that this is just his daily living activities and the only thing I can do to fix the problem was transferred to another unit which I would have to pay for not only the movers but also pay higher rent. This is truly no way for someone to live in their own home, this is a nightmare!!!
They will charge you for any excuse they can come up with. Constant construction. Had 3 neighbors already leave because of noise from Gandy cars. 1/10 previous owners were down to earth. This company is ??
I moved here from Columbus, Ohio in May of last year and have seen a significant decline ever since Greystar bought the community in July of 2016. Since then there has been constant construction at all hours, residents have had massive holes in their ceilings for months on end while they are installing/fixing sprinkler systems, washers and dryers break constantly and take weeks to get repaired, the list just goes on and on. The staff will tell you lie after lie and promise compensation for these items but you will never see a dime as a resident. They see residents as dollar signs, not people that they should care about. Your packages will get stolen from your porch around the holidays, you will always struggle to find a parking spot, your car will never stay clean due to their grounds keepers, you'll never get any peace and quiet if you are home between the hours of 8a-6p, your utilities will be a fortune due to how old the buildings are (my highest was over $200 for electric on a 500 square foot apartment), and home will become a stressful place to be. I personally am in their office at least once every couple weeks with something else that has happened. Do not let the price and move-in specials fool you, this place is more trouble than it is worth!
It was a good place before, but now after the place was sold, the new management is horrible. Is construction workers all day every day, dog waist all over the place, we are being force to leave the apartments 2 days at the time for different construction inside the apartments. And the worst part is that the Management don't care at all about us residents, no discounts for the inconvenience or any kind of compensation. Don't let you fool with the advertised of a month free. This place turn to the worst. Waiting to my lease to be over and movie.
these apartments are in the best location in tampa bay. everything is within a 15 minute drive. not being from the area i couldnt have asked for anything better

My title says it all, camden is the best. I have lived w camden 3 different times and have enjoyed each one. The communities have always been nice and well maintained. The people that work at camden really do make the difference.

I love the customer service and community atmosphere of Camden. The apartments are fairly nice (not as upgraded as one might hope for their pricing being on the higher end of the spectrum). My main complaint is their excessive pet deposits. You have to pay $400 for EACH pet and if you have more than one pet they increase your rent by $10/month for each additional pet. Essentially I paid $920 for the year to have two cats. This is ridiculous.

I have lived here for at least 11 years but will be leaving once my lease is up. This used to be a nice place to live, but under current management, you are no longer treated like a resident, you are treated like an unwanted foreigner taking up space in an authoritative regime. Things started really going downhill about two years ago. Suddenly they kept changing management. They were replacing the management teams it seemed every three months. There was always some new people in the office followed by some new, archaic rules. The current team has been there for awhile, so I guess they found the team they want, one that looks at residents with contempt and distrust, alienating everyone, even longtime residents like myself. Things have gotten so bad here that I believe it's important to let people know what they are getting into before signing that lease. I'll be leaving here soon, and that's a shame. But what was once a pleasant community to live in has turned into a struggle. We used to have managers that went out of their way to get to know you by your first name, now, you're just a number, with a dollar sign in front of it. Relentlessly inept and robotic management has ruined what was once was a community and turned it into a corporate hellhole. They'll treat you nice before you sign on the dotted line, but once you've signed a lease, you become, in their minds, their property. Ask around, be careful. These apartments look nice from the outside, but it's become very ugly inside. You don't want to live in a place where you are looked at as the enemy.

The staff in the Camden Westshore Apartments are amazing! They are incredibly welcoming and always happy to help when you see them! Ithe pool area makes you feel as though you are in a vacation location. It is in a great area of town with close proximity to a lot of great things, including the water!

These apartments only offer up to 2 bed / 2 bath. The smallest 1 bedroom is like a closet. I have a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath with a LARGE balcony. It is perfect for My wife, 2 year old daughter, and myself. There is a decent pool and Valet Trash. Internet/Wifi/Cable included in the rent. Friendly Maintenance Staff. It takes about 15-20 mins to get to anywhere on Macdill AFB. 10-15 Minutes to get to St. Petersburg. Another 10-15 Mins to get to Downtown Tampa. Easy Access to Selmon Expressway and Interstate 275. I only give 4 stars because the location means traffic can be a pain at times and it is difficult to find an open apartment here because they are quickly filled.

I was looking for lush landscaping, a beautiful pool, and attentive staff at my new apartment home. I found all that at Camden Westshore. The grounds are well tended. There are special events for the residents provided by the staff. Maintenance requests are tended to very quickly. Our pool is perfect. To have such a peaceful and secure home just minutes away from business districts, major transportation routes, beaches and shopping is wonderful. This will be my home for a long time to come. I could not have asked for more.
