Marley/Solley is a peninsula bounded by rivers emptying into the Chesapeake Bay. This region is mostly residential and is home to wooded areas and riverfront parks like Lombardee Community Beach. Renters will find that the rental market consists of townhomes, apartments, and a few single-family houses available in mid-range prices. For dining and shopping options, residents will have to travel a short distance west to get to the many restaurants and malls conveniently situated along Highway 2. More amenities just minutes outside of town include the Baltimore-Washington Thurgood International Airport, Arundel Mills Mall, and massive nature preserves.

Property Ratings at The Villages at Marley Station
Believe me when I tell you this is the worst place I have ever lived. The walls and ceilings are insanely thin. You can virtually hear everything going on in the surrounding units. If you have inconsiderate neighbors who blare their television or music and slam doors and cupboards god help you. Management will do next to nothing to help you, your solely at the cold hearted mercy of your neighbors. If you do try to complain and get help Management will treat you with disrespect and ask you why your home to hear the noise in the first place its wild here. Thats if you can reach Management or security. Security dosent ring when you call goes straight to voice-mail. Management office hours are a joke and if you try to call it just rings and the voice-mail is always full so you can't even leave a message I suspect its on purpose. I've lived here for 3 years because its the cheapest place and I cant afford anywhere else. I pray everyday that God will move in my life and get me out of this trap. PLEASE if you can afford anywhere else I implore you to pay that extra. Peace of mind and quality of life is priceless. I've tried leaving my testimonial on their Google review page and they have deleted it so they can't be held accountable.
This is the worst place to live. I live here for 9 years and I am so glad to be out of that terrible community. Security is useless as they sit in their cars and play on their phones not even paying attention to the surroundings. Management is a bunch of unprofessional, uneducated group that allowed their titles go to their heads. They are rude and not willing to help. The exception to this is Cindy who I feel bad for that has to work with such a negative team. Maintenance is a joke. I had to call the corporate office in Boston to have a window issue resolved as they were unwilling to fix the issue and the rain was literally pouring into my living room. I got to the point that I would just fix the issues myself rather than calling maintenance. They also allow anyone to move into this community as they do not care about safety or peace of their residents; they are just looking for that next dollar. They post so many notices with lease revocations when a resident makes a complaint but never follows through on anything. Residents can do whatever they want whenever they want with no consequences. With everyone working from home they are TERRIBLE at communication of upcoming maintenance/prevention. They will literally tell you the day before and expect you to leave your apartment where you work but still expect that rent at the end of the month. If I was able to give this community a -100% rating I totally would. DON'T MOVE HERE! WORST MISTAKE EVER!
When I first moved here I "thought " this was an okay place to live, the management seemed nice , boy was I so wrong, I have complained and complained about the noise in my building at least 6-7 times and nothing has ever been done about, now I being ran out of my apartment because it’s too unhealthy here, I can not get any sleep I’ve missed doctors appointment because I can’t sleep and get up on time, and I the money I wasted moving here is just like flushing it down the toilet, my lease is up soon and I am so outta here , and I have been dealing with the noise problem for about 4 months, If you have any sense stay as far away for here as you possibly can because if you have any problems Management won’t help, Management did say the spoke to the people making all this noise , well your little "talk" did not do any good at all , I wish I could move yesterday

Jack, Please reach out to Claudette Richardson, she has tried to get in touch with you. She has great news and your issue has been resolved. We do appreciate you as a resident here at The Villages at Marley Station. If I can be of any assistance I can be reached at 617-825-2033 or jholstrom@cjmanagement.com Thank you for your residency.
The community is in a great location in Glen Burnie, we have been happy with the service and apartment so far. The Leasing Office team has been really receptive to my high maintenance tendencies. Thank you
Management is never available and never listens to complaints or issues There is little to way to contact anyone when you’re having issues Great example- I’ve been living here for about 5 months 4 1/2 of these months the front door has been broken and totally unlocked I’ve complained countless times Randomly- someone fixed it and did not give any notice to any of the tenants and switched the locks So we were all Locke four with our keys or passwords and no way to be let in unless another resident happened to see you in distress When calling management to complain and find a resolution i was hung up on Whoever answers the phone has an awful attitude and does not help you at all Also the walls are paper thin so everything echoes in the hallway and you can hear your neighbors every move or conversation DO NOT LIVE HERE OVERPRICED AND AWFUL
I’ve been here almost a year and can not wait to leave. Management and maintenance needs serious work, retrained even. When it comes to direct communication with any level of management don’t count on it, voicemail is all you’ll get, with no call back. Been waiting on maintenance to properly fix my ceiling since July/August.
My friend lives here and has horrible experience . He had soaking wet floors due to a ceiling falling in, and the management group declined to have a professional take care of the wet floors. He also experienced infestation of mice in the apartment as well last year. The walls are thin as well and the building door would be broken a lot at least at his building. The size of the bedrooms are a good size. As a person who would visit occasionally, there were plenty of parking. You get what you pay for. I would be careful.
Avoid like the plague! Management is not helpful whatsoever. Maintenance is slow and requests have to be submitted repeatedly to be handled. Not a nice neighborhood either.
this community needs a make over!!!! The apartment needs upgrades asap
My apartment is very peaceful, I love it. Spacious and convenient to everything, maintenance is always on time and the managers always address my issues in a timely manner.
I've lived here for two years and while I do love the people I live around, I cannot say much for the apartment complex and management. They are abrasive and nonchalant when issues are brought to them, there are several unclear policies they have which feels more like scams to get money from us and it takes forever to get anything beyond simple basic repairs done. That being said, the entirety of my building are absolutely lovely people who take care of one another.
