Property Ratings at Ridgecrest Village
I have lived here for over a year and absolutely love living here! From the staff in the office to the very responsive maintenance team there is no better bang for your dollar living in Boston!
I am so happy with my new apartment in Ridgecrest Village. It is beautifully maintained and the atmosphere is really pleasant. My neighbors a quiet and there are two gyms on sight, one being right across the road from my apartment. There is also a beautiful pool that is open for summer and it is also quiet!
Apartments are mostly well kept and service people are fabulous if you need anything. Great location, close to shopping, dining, highway, good area. Fitness centers, pool and on site (paid) parking are great vs. renting houses. Neighbors are good. Only one negative - if you live on the side of the building near the parking lot, the noise is intensified and you can hear every word, door slam, garbage toss, etc.
I called to help someone with section 8 find an apartment. When I asked if they accept section 8, they replied, "We accept section 8 as long it covers the entirety of the rent." I said "section 8 only covers 2/3 of the rent and there is no section 8 voucher that covers 100%, so you don't accept section 8". She replied again with "we accept it as long as it covers the entirety of the rent." I just said so actually, you don't accept it because your policy is a catch 22. What a terrible way to do business!
The woman who answered the phone had not clued of what was available or the rates. It makes me wonder, what kind of property Management Company is this?
Worst customer service ever! Leasing staff was extrely rude. They advertise the wrong rates. I called several times over a period of 2 weeks the rates never matched what is advertised. The short and heavy blond leasing woman showed us a smelly apartment in a deserted building covered by bushes down the street. When asked if the building is also managed by their company she said they only have a select few units in that building. We entered through the back. It appears to be the place they take unwelcomed prospects. When asked if I could see the amenities and parking area she said he did not have any keys to access the front entrance, parking area or amenities.
Reiterating my comment on an earlier review, I had a wonderful experience living at 125 Edgemere. The staff at the CHR leasing office there were always very helpful, available for questions, and responsive. They have really set up a nice little community with stylish, modern apartments and awesome amenities that are above an beyond what you would typically find in Boston. Highly recommend it!
