The collection of neighborhoods that make up West Omaha imbibe the area with a laidback, family-friendly atmosphere. Quiet suburban streets, well-maintained parks, and busy shopping centers and malls all combine to make West Omaha a popular spot for anyone looking to experience the relaxed nature of suburban living in the Midwest.
Village Pointe and Oak View Mall will keep kids and adults entertained, and there’s also two popular golf courses on the eastern and western boundaries of West Omaha. Renters have an incredible choice of apartments and homes here, as most properties are housed along peaceful tree-lined streets. Downtown Omaha is just 15 miles east, so while you enjoy the tranquility of the neighborhood, know that the buzz — and conveniences — of the city isn’t far away.

Property Ratings at Old Mill Apartments
They have roaches and I’ve told them multiple times and they pretty much said deal with it! I’ve had problems with my sink backing up they don’t answer the phone for maintenance my tub drain wouldn’t shut when I first moved in the apartment wasn’t clean I had to clean it my self before even moving my stuff in and after I did they sent someone in to wipe stuff down after I did it all!!!!! Management only cares about getting paid they don’t care about anything else!!!!
I have been living at the Old Mill apartments for the last 6 months. I seriously have no complaints! The people in the office are beyond friendly. There are loveable dogs everywhere. Neighbors are kind AND they have a pool and club house. Definitely love loving here! - Malesha

It’s an affordable place to live in. But it needs work. From bed bugs to roaches, not my type of living. I’m glad I’m out of that place. It was the worst experience.
Old Mill has been a great place to live. I have lived here for six years. I originally decided to move here because the rent was low, there was no pet rent and they pay for the heat. The rent has gone up a little every year, like most places, but it is still comparably low. They also now require a pet rent, which I’m not too happy about. I live in a one bedroom. It is very spacious, even with all of the stuff I’ve crammed in. The kitchen lacks some cabinet space though. I have to use some separate shelving, which ends up looking a little messy. I do have issues at times when showering with water going cold or scalding hot, but that can happen with apartments. When I moved in, I had these little gnat-like bugs on my kitchen floor. It took me a little while to get rid of them with bug spray and ant traps. There are a lot of grassy areas to walk your dog(s) and they even provide bags and trash cans for you to clean up after them with. There is a park right across 108th street and just east at the end of North Mill Road a bike and walking trail, the Big Papio Trail, along Big Papillion Creek. I’ve never used the pool, but they do have one. Parking isn’t usually too much of an issue. The staff is great and probably the reason most people stay. They are always there to help and I never have a problem picking up a package. The maintenance staff is great and they are very nice guys. They are very quick to take care of maintenance requests. They have good lease renewal incentives. I’ve gotten new blinds, carpet cleaned, and accent walls painted. I wouldn’t have stayed here six years if I was unhappy with it.
I live in a two bedroom one bath apartment. Its pretty spacious, and generally quiet. Most of the neighbors are friendly. Maintenence is usually pretty timely on fixing anything. The reason I am giving three stars is because I have complained about a tree that drips an abundant amount of sap on the cars (including mine) and nothing has been done to remedy this. I also said something about the tiles in my bathroom popping up (they are pretty dated so its to be expected) and nothing was done. This kind of slow response is most definitely out of the norm.
