Emigsville is a small suburban area spanning to the east of Interstate 83 less than five miles from the heart of York. The neighborhood is largely residential and home to open spaces and convenient amenities along George Street. For more shopping and dining, residents travel south to the plethora of restaurants and stores in Downtown York. Additional outdoor recreation is provided by the trails along Codorus Creek, located a bit east of town.

Property Ratings at Central Park Townhomes
At first it will seem good but you will see later on that it is the worst place to move to , they make it impossible for you to move out if you would like too because they take you to court for paying rent late, maintenance doesn’t care about fixing anything , I had told them I have mold in my house and they never showed up to fix the problem, all they care about is the rent money , cheap houses , everything falls apart , breaks , stops working and they don’t care to fix anything , please consider looking somewhere else we’re you feel comfortable and in peace because these houses and community isn’t going to give you that.
Wish I never lived here!! rent is outrageous and not worth it!!!! Maintenance has been 10 different crews in 4 years!! Looks nice but is not worth it!!! Have had so many home problems it's ridiculous!!! Asks for so much money but puts nothing into fixing the place properly!! ??
The Townhomes brought me in with the super reasonable prices for living but it does have its negatives. 1. The walls are super thin, you can hear just regular conversations going on next door 2. The grounds keeping is iffy: if you put things out to decorate your home they may get torn down by a weed wacker( I've only seen this happen to a few and my own but I don't travel far around the neighborhood) 3. Be sure to tour the Townhomes they are giving you! I got shown one and then ended up with another. (BTW: some units has a dumpster right in front of your further front door) 4. The parking is also iffy, you have little chance of being able to park near your home 5. Also try to stay away from living anywhere else besides near the entrance. Once you go up the hill you just walked into a twilight zone. Unfortunately my best comparison would be it to the inner city. 6. Finally the only way to pay your rent is to have checks or give your card information over the phone every month to whoever is working the desk.
The town homes are roomy. Anyone who has a family with 3 children could fit comfortably. They are older and you can tell that are trying to save by getting the cheapest appliances and such. The pool has been filled in so there isn't much to do for the kids in the area. However, there is a school with a park that is walking distance.
The community looks nice, people taking care of the outside of their homes and generally well kept. Plus the rent is beyond reasonable. But once you move in the rose colored glasses come off. The walls are paper thin, I can hear conversations on the other side of the wall. And trust me it's not like they are yelling. I also have kids next door. The way they format the houses is so that a one bedroom (which I have) is right next to a three or four bedroom. They have one of the bedrooms over my kitchen. With it being one of the kids bedrooms, it's impossible to enjoy a meal there. Next to my bathroom must be another kids room. So relaxing baths or showers are out of the question. Even with the kids just playing if the noise doesn't allow me the sleep, certainly the shaking of the house will due to playing. And with all this I'm mildly thankful only because I'm a end unit so I only have to deal with one family. If I was sandwiched between two, it would be unbearable! Also I live closer to entrance which apparently should be coveted because once you go up the hill you have entered a whole new world. Kids running around cursing, the care you saw in the homes when you come in have disappeared. It's like a 1 minute drive to inner city. If you are still interested make sure they show you the home you will actually be in! My front door has a wonderful dumpster right in front! And if you plan on parking anywhere near your home, good luck.
Cedar Village where no one can Pillage! I can run around and not have to go into town. I can go outside with my friends but it all depends on if there home. Its a lovely place where there's no disgrace. There's no need to roam because this is the place we call HOME!
