Virginia Beach is a large city of nearly half a million people, perched on the Atlantic coast between Chesapeake Bay and the North Carolina state line. Supporting a thriving local economy of its own, Virginia Beach is also a popular home base for folks who work in neighboring Norfolk and beyond, largely thanks to the incredible array of things to do in your down time.
The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts attracts major national performers and Broadway musicals, as well as popular local and regional acts. Throughout the year, you can always catch live shows at Farm Bureau Live, the city's 20,000-seat outdoor concert amphitheater. During the summer, Atlantic Boulevard comes alive at night; family-friendly street performers line the street, and bands play at a number of stages set up on the beach, in parks, and on the boardwalk.

Property Ratings at Royal Pointe Apartments
Where do I start?! Initially when I moved in, this place had different ownership, and they were great. That was until they were bought by the new owners. My wife and I lived here for 10 months and could never get help from the front office regarding noise complaints and maintenance. I ended up having to move out due to military orders, and they did not want to honor that. I had to literally bring them the physical lease agreement and show them that they were not complying with what I had signed. Even then I still had to pay an extra months rent. After I moved out, I left the apartment in very good and clean condition. I did not get my security deposit back and was also charged for things that were NOT TRUE! Even if what I was charged for was true, I received not one call or email to notify me from the property. I was notified by a collections agency. These property owners are far from professional and I suggest you find somewhere better to live!

Thank you for sharing your experience. As a team, we strive to communicate clearly about our policies and fees, so it is disappointing to hear of any potential confusion regarding your move-out. Would you please email us at communications@pegasusresidential.com so we can better address the concerns you have shared? We look forward to speaking with you.
Honestly, I would love to give this place five stars but I just can’t do that. When I was a tenant, the place really wasn’t that bad. It was clean. The people were nice, they always made sure that if there was a maintenance request put in they responded. But after being a tenant… Forget it! They don’t care about you at all and they will make it as hard as possible to get your security deposit back. I have been trying to get in contact with them for two weeks now, as it is well over the 45 day period for me to get my security deposit back and I haven’t heard anything. I went as far as to contact Pegasus, who is the new owner, and I still haven’t heard anything from them either. I used to really enjoy living at Royal pointe when they were owned by a different company. Now that they’re owned by this new company I don’t think that it’s a good place to live or deal with.

I hate this place, people are so loud and inconsiderate. They will have parties till 4:00 am and security or management won’t do anything about it. Loud neighbors upstairs, and next to us. It is impossible to live in peace in this place. I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Royal pointe has been home to my fiancé and I for the past 2 years. We came from a different apartment complex that we had a terrible experience from. Royal pointe has been a breath of fresh air!! We feel at peace and at home here. We live in the 1 bed townhome and it's perfect amount of space for my fiancé and I and our cat! Maintenance is awesome at coming to help as soon as possible when you have an issue or concern! They are all very nice and professional. The office staff are also kind and professional and made the move in process smooth! If you're thinking about moving here, definitely do it!
I was trying to find a safe, clean and affordable apartment for my son (I am in CA). I found Royal Pointe and the whole office team helped me with everything! I am so thankful for the care and attention I (and my son) have received. They truly care about their tenants here and the apartment is perfect! I can’t express how grateful I am.
I just moved to VA Beach and moved into Royal Pointe. I love it here! Everyone is super nice and it is very quiet. I get my own assigned parking and there is guest parking as well. The staff are great and accommodating. There is trash removal. I’ve been here for 4 months and love it. The only minor complaint I have is the size of the kitchen is small for one bedroom and so is the bathroom. If you’re moving in by yourself it’s fine, but if you’re living with someone, there could be a need for more space. The leasing office gives you a small move in gift (mine was from bath & body works). They also put candy and news letter on my door for Halloween. I don’t ever hear my neighbors next to me which I was afraid would be an issue at first, but I have not had any problems with noise. It’s in a great area and close to grocery stores, gas station, and shopping not too far away at the Town Center and Princess Anne area! I would definitely recommend.

Please contact or visit us at the Resident Services Offices as soon as possible so you may provide us with details and discuss your situation further. Thank you for your feedback and we feel confident we can find a solution to the issues you are experiencing.
Royal Pointe Apartments is a extremely quiet complex. The neighborhood has very diverse people. The office staff are experienced, professional, creative, friendly, helpful, and down to earth. Living here is like a warm slice of pie on a cold winter night. Its that quiet and peaceful that it leaves a refreshing taste that their are still great neighborhoods without noise and drama. Lastly it is in a central location where you can go to the movies, workout, great schools, plenty of grocery stores, and the best skating ring for young teenagers. Oh yes and if your a gamer/comic book lover it's one of those near by also. I would never move if the complex had 3 bedroom apartments but they dont. That makes me so sad because I have lived in some nice places, owned two homes and never felt the love that I have felt since I have moved here.
