West Jackson encompasses an area spanning roughly from Gallatin Street west towards Clinton, Mississippi. Bounded to the south by Interstate 20, West Jackson is made up of a diverse collection of neighborhoods, communities, and destinations. With its most eastern region still very much in the heart of the city, residents can enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Mississippi’s capital city. Further west, an array of apartment rentals ranging from affordable to upscale and single-family homes of the vintage and modern variety can be found. The commuting crowd will be well taken care of thanks to the interstates and thoroughfares that run through West Jackson. This area is also home to the Jackson Zoological Park and Mississippi College.

Property Ratings at Addison Place
Do Not move into Addison Place Apartments. The manager that's at that place now is very snobbish and talk to ppl any kind of way. I've been telling them ppl since they had taken over that I had a leak in my ceiling and it hasn't been repaired. Mind you, they took over in 2023, so this was in 2024. She did not mind taking rent money but that had started to be a concern to me. The maintenance act like they knew it all about air conditioners but didn't know jack. I had told these ppl that my apartment wasn't getting cold and that I had a curtain in my kitchen, he wanted to say that the reason being is because I had it up blocking so the air wasn't flowing in the living room. Nobody shouldn't live in an unhealthy environment and not being treated fairly. This has been going on for sometime now and I was in the process of looking for another apartment. This woman had sent out notices in July for the ones who were already out there stating that if you want to renew your lease or not, but you had until the end of September to turn it in. I did this on August 12th and on August 14th I received a letter stating that she's not renewing my lease. To make a long story short, my ceiling was covered in mold and mildew, had to border up sides of walls because there were rats coming in. This lady had tried to tear me down but it did not happen. I would not recommend anybody to stay out there. she's messy and listen to this he say/she say crap. They take off whenever they want to. One of the maintenance men does at least do his part, but that other one do not do nothing. it's sad that ppl try to abuse the system and try to bring others down, while they're saying that its not place to be because it's a lie. I will say that ppl vehicles has been broken into and stolen from there and who out of their right mind will get rid of security and not have any because the one that was there did his job. She's very arrogant and tells ppl business to other ppl as well.I really do not see that place staying open long, but I'm satisfied where I'm at now.
It is nice and quiet in Addison Place. The manager is very sweet and she would help you with your needs.
Whenever I call in a work order they come over immediately and fix the issue at hand I would recommend anyone to come live at Anderson place one bedroom two bedroom and three bedrooms a very awesome place to live
The office manager was very helpful in helping me apply for an apartment she answered all my questions and even helped me with questions on my application the process was smooth and quick and easy
I lived here for three years. The grass was hardly cut,I walked through sewage every day, it got so bad I couldn’t open my bedroom window, the sidewalk floods like a river when it rains,I had rats so bad I had to move all my foods out of the cabinets into plastic containers. I finally moved when my apt was robbed and NO ONE saw anything. The cameras don’t work. You have no safety here. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
These apartments are one of the worse apartment complex is in Jackson. I stayed at these apartments for year . The on-site laundry room was always nasty most of the machine did not work and none of the machines had hot water .The property was barely maintained the grass was rearely cut. I don’t believe most of the people that stayed here were paying rent because a lot of people would have evection notices on their door. They do not charge a security deposit only an Admin fee which is nonrefundable meaning you could damage their property . At any time of the day you could walk the complex and see beer bottles and garbage. The office staff was pretty nice when ever they were in the office. By 4 o’clock they are nowhere to be found . 3 to 4 days out the week my apartment was smell of marijuana because of my neighbor even after going to the office nothing was done. ..this apartments are in desperate need of change. On a scale 1 to 5, 1 being least likely and 5 most likely I would write these apartments a zero. If you are in dire need of somewhere to stay then I would recommend these apartments. You would have to not pay rent for months before they put you out. I believe I was the only one actually paying rent. They should be cheaper. I only have them a 1 because I couldn’t give them a 0
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. Been here almost a yr. There are a million roaches, the sewer is always over flowing, anybody could come in/out of the apts!! No one is ever in the office. Some of the front doors arent secure enough! Living here is affordable, but Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. #Facts
I’ve been out here about a week and a couple days. I have had several problems such as when I moved in my air wasn’t working , roaches , toilets stopped up, electricity problems, no light in the ceiling . The only thing management had to offer was ,”you are welcomed to move”. SO IM GETTING ON DOWN. DON’T MOVE HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT.
I have a one bed room apartment I have no furniture it's very small but it's all I have so I am thankful I would love to have the opportunity to Have free rent for ever I think I would cry and not worry about where I am going to stay when my lease is up well thank u and I hope to hear from u all thanks my name is Allison Haymond my number is 6018748850
Need bigger space. Better maintenance... They need to improve on the security.
As a college student at Jackson State University, this 1 bedroom apartment is ideal! It is Tidy and clean space. These apartments are nothing like the other places I have been viewing. I WILL be contacting Addison Place very soon.
