We moved here in October 2018. The office staff is very helpful and engaging. Maintenance gets things done, quickly, when needed. The facilities, pools, gym, community room and business center are well maintained. Security is important and we feel very safe living here. The location is superb, grocery, restaurants, shops and the Galleria are all within walking distance. A great place to live!!

I had a great experience touring this community. Shannon was a great help! She answered all of my questions, and even got her property manager to get clarity on some information she wasn't sure of. She explained the application process thoroughly and gave me a copy of the rental criteria. Dominique even got some water for me while Shannon was getting the keys.
Loving the complex! Management was very accommodating and friendly, answered questions and made me feel secure about my choice in living here.

This is my first big move in over 15 years and moving hundreds of miles away always brings stress. Dominique and Shannon have been so amazing in helping me move in. All moves come with issues but the staff has been on top of everything. The property is right off Westheimer so noise is to be expected but it is normal traffic and the night is pretty quiet. The amenities are great and the property is kept extremely clean, even of one of the biggest roads in Houston. I love being able to get any where I need right off this main road. The apartment unit has beautiful wood floors, spacious storage in the kitchen, and the closets are very well organized. Dominique has made it an amazing move in process. The staff is what makes the property even better. They are polite, sincere, and keep their word. Overall this has been an almost stress free move to Houston and I think I'll enjoy my new home.

I've lived at Alta City West for almost 18 months, and it's one of the best decisions that I've ever made ! THE PERFECT LOCATION ! Really close to the Galleria area, I-10, Memorial City, and the Bellaire area. I moved here from Brooklyn, NY and the staff here have not only been accommodating, but extremely reasonable in providing a remedy to many of my unforeseen circumstances. The apartment complex is usually quiet and is patrolled by courtesy officers, which attributes to Shannon and Dominique's commitment to safety. This property is great. It is very quiet and the new management is especially attentive to the property. There is often times much traffic on the front street but the staff and security make me feel safe. Great place to live!!
Just moved to this property and loving it. Definitely one of the best priced options for the area. Dominique and Shannon are super helpful and maintenance is educated. Hope things remain this good!
Stay away from this place !!!! My lease end soon can’t wait to be out of this place !!!!! I am only giving them 1 star just because of Jonathan the manager. He was the only good thing there. They expect you to live their but don’t have visitors . Only 10 visitors spots for the all complex apartments. If your visitor stay more than 2 days , they will put a parking ticket on is car lol !!!! Again stay away from this place !!!!! I was so please when I got my apartment because the leasing lady told me you don’t have a neighbor under you but guess what it’s the gym!!!!! They put the music so loud that I have to wake up basically every night or two night in the row to ask them to lower their music cause I can’t sleep!! Even during the day you can’t nap at all lol !!! When you call the patrol officer ,you have to leave a voice message and they will never get back to you !! This apartment is a big jocks!!!! Stay away from this pace again !!The leasing office refuse to put a sign at the gym to let the people know! I can’t wait to be out of this place !!!!! Wall are super thin. Neighbors are super loud off course due the fact that the walls are super thin . You heard them all the time . Don’t waist your money go somewhere else !!!!!!!!
I absolutely love Alta City West! The management team here is so friendly & welcoming and they made my experience from start to finish exceptional. My apartment is really nice and the amenities here are pretty nice as well. I’ll admit the parking situation for guest can be difficult, but it’s pretty much like that everywhere you go. First come first serve. However, the pros outweigh the cons. This place is nice, if you decide to visit ask for Jonathan or Shannon I know first hand they will make your move in experience the best!
This is the worst apartment I have ever lived it. The walls are so thin and cheaply made. You can hear all the doors slamming, people conversations and foot steps. I have spoken to management and fixing doors due to this and they have refused. I believe ill just move out without notice. It's not worth the money.
I can't wait for my lease to be up. The computer was stolen out the 24 hour lounge so now the lounge is only open during office hours. You have to walk around the whole building to let a guest in or go check the mail. It doesn't seem like a well thought out complex. Worst part is the walls are so thin.
This place is located outside of the loop and is next to multiple restaurants, bars, and shopping. Appliances are stainless steel, wooden flooring throughout, and this place actually has stand up showers rather than having a garden tub which I am sure a lot of people would appreciate. For those who love their garden tubs, don't worry - you can get one at this place also. The best thing about this apartment though, is the floor plan - when they say open floor plan, they really mean it. There is free covered parking, first come first serve of course - but it's free. Gated community, and you need a fob to get into the building after hours - so it's secure. I moved from a very nice complex, inside of the loop. I wanted to save on rent but not give up my nice appliances or dapper looking apartment - this place gives me all that I wanted, and I am saving more than what I wanted to. Yes, it is located off Westheimer (one of the busiest roads in Houston) BUT if you plan accordingly, you can avoid the traffic most of the time. Perhaps, this is why the rent is reasonable, but it's a trade off, just as most things in life. For me, the additional 10 minutes on the road is a fraction to what I save, so it works. I was reluctant to move outside of the loop, and the majority of apartments I saw outside of the loop did not have the new look feel, and if they did - you had to pay inside of the loop rent. This apartment has the inner city feel, and with a nice twist, affordable rent. Ever walked into a designer store, and walked out with a huge smile because you just got a bargain of a lifetime? Try this place and you'll be smiling for days on end.
When I started my apartment hunt I knew it would be just that, a hunt. After searching multiple apartment search engines I saw the commercial for apartments.com and thought hey I'll give that a shot. The first apartment I found was the perfect home for me. I went to Alta City West and signed a lease that day. The atmosphere reminds you of a small posh hotel but still homey and inviting. The finishes and style of the apartment were obviously chosen with great care and it truly makes me feel like I'm living in my dream home. The amenities and perks of living here are amazing and I can't thank apartments.com for helping me finally end the hunt!
