Let me put reality here for people who are willing to move and call their new home to this property. Total maintenance person 2, office personnel 3(only one of them is always available when you really need help). Emergency approach system useless you will never be answered, approached after making call or followed-up for your concerns. The parking system is useless. It's a third-party vendor that never answer their toll-free number or reply to your email in case you get tickets or towed your vehicle. I had to call 911 to find out the status of my towed car, but there was no response from property management when I used their emergency service. Maintenance request, I already had review about it but ....First you will be greeted with words from property manager " you are not the only one lives here because they saw me for follow-up for my request which I created 4 days before and till today it's my problem because I am not only living here. I only request to send a maintenance tech to just quick stop by to check my washing machine which is having problem and it was full with washing load so they can see what is the exact issue with the machine and I was told they are on lunch break so I request to send after break but it's almost 3hrs and no show. When I went to the office, the manager didn't even come out to courtesy check when another person was busy with the guest. I will daily put new reviews so you guys will see the reality of this place. Now a days everyone are passing through hard time of crazy inflation, expenses, hectic work schedule on top of it when you come home, you should expect little relax but then you will deal with home (unfortunately) issues.
I am a current resident and have been trying to get a working dryer since I've moved in over a month ago. They expect me to pay for an amenity I haven't been able to use. The issue is that I have a 10 month old, a wife and myself. We are having to wash one set of clothes at a time and hang them over the shower rod to dry out. I have tried submitting numerous work orders and they have now started marking them as complete when the work is NOT done. They say they "tried" contacting but in reality they never do that's just them putting it back on you. I would never recommend this place to anyone as they for some reason are always too busy making videos and having pizza parties to tend to their work orders. I haven't received one call, knock on my door or anything and at this point feel as if they are avoiding the whole situation now. I will also say they have replaced the dryer, but it's still not drying meaning the ducts need to be cleaned. The maintenance worker came 10/7 and said he'd be back on 10/10 to fix the ducts. No one ever came 10/10. Since then absolutely no contact has been made. This review could've been avoided if someone had just at least contacted me to say the work order was at least received well over a week ago. I see now why people state they are going through the legal process to get out of their contract, that too is my next step.
I was there for getting information but they were so impolite and unprofessional.

I was there only 30 days the site is in poor condition. Pay penalty for dissolving the contract and services. After a year of moving a collection company tells me that I have a debt with ashey. I communicated with the manager who is despot refused to tell me the concept of debt and also the company that charges. I will communicate with the corporation.

This community is the worst, the outside and the apartments are dirty, appliances are old and outdated. Corridors are dirty, no lights on the parking lot. The make money towing cars, guest are not welcome since they have a limited space for guest parking. Dog's park is never clean so you will find dog waste everywhere, they charge $50 for remote controls but their gate is always open.I can't wait to leave this place!! don't rent here you will regret living here.
I just want to say living here has been smooth lately. The staff is very professional and friendly. Work orders have been done fast. Property looking cleaner and i love their resident events they have. They always make you feel welcomed. I definitely recommend these apartments. 1. They do not get flooded when it rains 2. they have the best SCHOOL DISTRICT IN KATY!
I have lived in Ashley House since 2014 in 2 different units, they have always treated me with much respect and cordiality, the facilities are nice and they always try to have everything clean and in order, they do not have hidden or excessive charges, what they tell you what are you going to pay for rent, that's it! When I moved from one unit to another, they returned the deposit, discounting only the change of unit and the water service of the last receipt that remains pending payment when you move. I have seen that many people complain that they do not return the full amount of their deposit. So I recommend that you leave the apartment as clean as possible, do not leave anything, or trash, or any furniture, change the plates of the stove, remove screws and repair and clean the refrigerator. Since for the extra cleaning and the dishes of the banks can charge you. Some tenants are not in the habit of reading the regulations and it is possible that for that reason they get in trouble or bother not to follow the rules that were given in writing beforehand in the signing of their contract, but, as I expressed previously, They do not read their contract, I imagine they do not read the regulations either. The price for the apartments is very accessible (referring to cost benefit), since the area is quite safe, and has very good schools. I give it 4 stars because I would like to see some improvements in the furniture of the pool and in the gym. It is worth mentioning that they improved the lighting at the entrance of the complex, the play area for children and the barbecue area and it was very pleasant.

I stopped in at Ashley House I had my 10 pound Yorkie Terrier so I can get information on dog fees. When I enter I was rudely approached and the guy said to me "no dogs allowed in rental office". There was other people in the office so it was very embarrassing. This place is unprofessional, do not like friendly pets, and do not know how to conduct business. If you are looking to rent here keep your fur baby away from the rude people in the office. I guarantee you they will be happy to take your "dog" deposit and rental fee but God forbid if you ever have to take your dog to the office, you will see a very ugly side of the staff. I will not go near that apartment ever again and I will tell friends of friends of friends...etc. Not happy at all.

I am giving one star because there was no zero stars choice. This is the WORST service for residents ever!!! Starting with the leasing office manager. Gates are almost always damaged and when they work the remote doesn't work; they have "tried" for over a month to fix the remotes of my two cars and nothing has been accomplished. Even worse, they have LOST mine. Their response was to give me another one that didn't work either. They take forever on fixing resident problems!! DO NOT LEASE HERE!!!

The current manager is not friendly, it does not help the recent, everything was the same since he was an assistant now, manager is worse, he does not want to attend, he does not solve problems, he is very incompetent, we need a place to put complaints and to be heard and investigated. the feeling of the vast majority of residents
DO NOT LIVE HERE. The manager and assistant manager are terrible. They always have a way to screw someone over and always have an excuse as to why. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Broken dryer and dishwasher from the day of move in. Took 3 months for the dryer to get fixed, therefore I had to hang clothes up throughout the apartment to let them hang dry. Every time I addressed it, they had another excuse as to why it hasn't been fixed. They put another dryer in and it squeaked really loudly. Finally, they installed another one which did not vent well and caused condensation to fill the area. I addressed it with management and was told that was all normal. Dishwasher was finally replaced at month 4. Neighbors above were extremely loud and stomped constantly hard enough to make things fall off my walls. I addressed the neighbors week after week after week with management and nothing was ever done and was even told that I should go knock on their door and say something. I paid to terminate my lease and was given one price to get out of my lease and every time I turn around they are sending me another bill. Billed for $80 for water for months that I had already moved out of the apartment. There is always animal poo on the sidewalks. The maintenance guy has no clue what he is doing. The gates are always broken.
If you enjoy a front office who could care less about their existing occupants, this is the place for you. One of the features I liked when I moved in initially was that a parking pass was not needed. That was changed and I guess that is not considered a breach of contract on their end. Dirty carpet, busted light bulbs, broken and stained appliances on day one. Took a week and 3 separate phone calls to get a washing machine fixed because the office people were quick to pass the buck to someone else. EXIT gate constantly broken which lets in people who don't live here and who rush in thinking the gate will close. At least 3 times a week someone speeds through almost hitting me. Made the office people aware and told me that I need to get the color, make, model and license plate of the people doing it. Its not the tenants responsibility to do that. Asked why they don't put an "EXIT ONLY" sign on the outside of the gate, was met with it would take too long to go through the corporate chain. They are understaffed on Sundays. I walked to the office to get a package with a sprained ankle. When I got there, they were locking up the office to show an apt to new people. I said to the lady I'm in pain and just need to get the package in the back room which you are 6 feet away from. She replied, "can you come back in 30 mins" after telling her about my situation. That has been my exp here. You should only move in here if there is new management. Moving very shortly. I would take the hit on paying for 2 homes simultaneously just because I can't stand living here with these "attentive" and "caring" employees.
i currently live at the Ashley house apartments . I like the apartments. But I am struggling to pay rent because I don't have a steady income. My apartment complex is small, but cozy. The interior has granite countertops and tile flooring and shag carpet. A washer and dryer come with the apartment . I'm struggling to survive . I need to win.
So far, neighbors are pretty quiet, nothing crazy going on. Pretty clean place, haven't seen any bugs. I put in a few maintenance requests so far but haven't heard anything back yet, which is why 4/5. Front desk seems pretty helpful and pleasant so far. Good area as well.
if you have another option! take it !; Do not trust anything they offer, they rip you off! dishwasher is broken since I moved, my contract is ending, and they never fixed !!! when I moved to the apartment, I made the mistakenot review it before signing the lease. so, when they gave me the apartment I realized the carpet was already used, now my lease ends, They will not return my deposit, they say!!! they must replace the old carpet!!! ......
