Property Ratings at Vida Apartments
Moved in March of 2021 & it’s been nothing but bliss… especially for being in a pandemic! They communicate great, plenty of parking and it’s a nice neighborhood.
Property Manager at Vida Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for the positive review and being a great resident!
I have been a resident since December of 2018. As with all older apartment complexes, maintenance issues crop up. Every time I have called to have something repaired during a regular work day, it has been addressed immediately. Staff are courteous, helpful, and informative. I highly recommend this complex if you are looking for a solid and dependable home.
We have lived here for seven months and have not had any real issues. A few things have happened that required maintenance to come and they always come as soon as possible and would get the job done. The maintenance workers are a little crass but whatever. Our neighbors have been nice and quiet (as much as you can be in an apartment). I’ve never seen ANY bugs in my unit and if I did I would let the office know and I’m sure the issue would be resolved. The owners and office staff have always been helpful from when we moved in. We regularly see police doing a drive though almost every night I think and I like that. There are a lot of kids running around but that happens anywhere. Overall, it has been a good experience for us and for the price you pay I would say it has been a good experience. We’ve been comfortable from the day we moved in.
This was by far the absolute worse experience I have ever seen regarding an apartment complex. It is poorly managed, and the employees starting at the top on down lack the basic soft skills necessary to run a business.

This place is a joke. The property manager is so rude and disrespectful! She only cares about the money. Siding was falling off our unit, nails coming out of the boards on the wooden planks outside our apartment, spider webs all around the outside. We brought all this stuff to her attention and she gave us our 30 day notice, because if were weren't happy there then we could just go. Please do not move here you will regret it.
I'm going to try to make this review short basically we've only been here 2 months and since day we have had to complain about our neighbors upstairs letting their daughter run, jump and stump literally all day!! The only time we got peace was when they were sleep or gone. It got to a point we had to knock on their door because they woke us up at 8 am literally sounding like they were jumping off the furniture!! I called the office a few days later to complain again and spoke with the property manager who proceeded to cut me off and tell me about complaints they've gotten about my brother visiting, some of them I knew for a fact was a lie, but I agreed with her and informed her he wasn't living with us but he was there everyday and I said I would talk with him and let him know he cant visit as much because clearly it was causing a problem. So I tried to talk about he neighbors again and she kept saying "Hes not suppose to be there, and I'm not going to argue with you" I never raised my voice or cursed!! I kept saying I understand and agree and that I am talking to her calmly and she kept avoiding what I was saying to her and then said again "I'm not going to argue with you I will release you from your lease and I don't have time to talk to you, I have other things to do." I was in disbelief!! She was the rudest and unprofessional property manager I have ever met!! Point being The walls and floors are thin, theres cracks in the foundation so bugs get through and theres alot!! Once you do one thing wrong any of your complaints prior become invalid! I cant wait to move!!
First, take pictures before & after you leave because their known to try to sue you for everything even things that were messed up before or during your time there. Pictures & videos will help you out when then decide to make money off you. Second, they have no respect for privacy & you're lucky if they knock once before entering your "sanctuary". Third, good luck getting anything fixed if you need something fixed or replaced. Finally, have your children walk on eggshells as the employees of the complex tend to bully the kids to the point where their scared to even play on the playground. Anyway, that's my two cents, take it for what it's worth in my opinion.
Everything started great. The people seemed nice and the apartments were great when we walked them. But when we moved in things went downhill. It started with a couple bugs. My boyfriend told me it should be expected when it’s been vacant for awhile. A few months went by and I stopped seeing them. Then it became winter and there were so many! Our neighbors constantly had the cops at their door, and you could hear everything through the walls. I can tell you when my neighbor got caught cheating and when the older couples grand father clock went off, someone let their dog poop on the bridge to the building, they somehow find a reason to constantly come into the apartment, people drove through the parking lot horribly fast, the kids were loud in late hours of the night. We had to call maintenance a lot. When we first moved in they left caulk in the tub, debris of metal was left in the garbage disposal. All the old doorknobs were left in the closet, paint on the cabinets chips off, an outlet doesn’t work. I could go on and on. This was only a tiny bit off all the stupid things you have to put up with here. Please don’t waste your time.
