Moving into Avana Westside Apartments was an incredibly smooth and exciting experience—I was amazed and proud to call it home within just a week of applying! After visiting my friend’s place, I instantly fell in love with the community’s vibrant atmosphere and upscale feel. Even while I was out of town, Sade made the entire leasing process seamless. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring that everything was ready for my arrival in Atlanta. The moment I got back to Atlanta, I moved in. While my initial unit was beautiful, I decided to transfer into another unit near the pool. Thankfully, the management team went above and beyond—they were so understanding and accommodating, making it easy for me to transfer. Now, I absolutely love my new space! More than just a place to live, moving here has been a blessing. Being close to both the gym and my church—two of my biggest goals for the year—has made this move even more meaningful. Avana Westside has exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier to call it home!

Enjoyed my experience so far. The staff and maintenance staff are very helpful and assist residents in a timely manner. There are issues with rash driving in the parking deck and occasional noise issues. Apart from that, solid neighborhood and nice community

I instantly fell in love with Avana West when I saw it only, seeing it in person only confirmed what I thought. I don’t like there yet, but I am so excited to. Dry cleaning, a year round open pool, delivery lockers, parking garage, and the list goes on.

I’ve been here for two years and plan to renew my lease for another year. So far, I’ve had a great experience. The staff in the front office are wonderful. They are very communicative and responsive whenever you need anything. I really like my apartment and the amenities here, as well as the location. My apartment size is excellent for the price that I pay. My only complaint would be about some of the residents. Some residents do not pick up after their pets, and some residents litter in the parking garage or on the apartment property, but it really has nothing to do with the apartment itself or the staff that run the property. I have also felt very safe living here as a single woman and would highly recommend Avana Westside to others.

Apartments are cute and spacious Only negatives are the stairwells being dirty . Valet trash comes on time which is nice Maintenance is nice and fix things quickly. Also have cleaning service that I see every morning cleaning the hallway, like I said I just wish they would clean stairwells.

We've been very happy here for almost a year now. We haven't had any complaints as far as neighbors being loud or anything that has disrupted our daily lives. The only negative would be trash in the parking lot but they usually take care of that immediately once notified.

1st the leasing agents are wonderful. They were very helpful & informative throughout the entire process. I’m very happy with the conditions of the property, the dog park could use some TLC but overall very well kept. The area is great for easy access to tons of restaurants & shops. Very walkable & on Marta line. Parking is a breeze which is always nice coming home & not fighting for a spot. The neighbors are pleasant enough & I’m very happy with my choice to move to Avana Westside.

Overall I’ve had a great living experience at this community. The crazy high surprise water bill that has no logical calculation or disclosed rate has been my only gripe . MX and office staff are all friendly and personable. The location is also great for night life , but is a high traffic area for most of the day light hours between construction and proximity to busier streets like Howell mill and 14th. If u you need to run a quick errands then a 10 mins drive will turn into an hour just with the added time to get to the Main Street .

GREAT ENERGY!!!!! Love it.
I have been here a longg time-seen a few staff changes- this is the BEST ENERGY SHIFT since I moved here! The ladies are pleasant, considerate and just all around enjoyable- WHILE getting the job DONE!!! I am so happy for the new office team and excited to work with them everytime. Noise
Relatively thin walls and an inactive peace officer. I called in multiple times, excessive noise after quiet hours. The peace officer typically did not respond. 12:1 instance to response ratio Excessive meaning someone else music/tv audible through out your apartment. Like your entire apartment, you can identify the song from your bed. After quiet hours meaning after 10pm before 8am. Specifically 11p-3a A solution could be, calls are logged. Management then reaches out the next day/business day to follow up. This would give management the data to manage issues before they become problematic situations. The east side of the apartment complex borders an industrial sand distribution center, diesel dump trucks and semi trucks as early as 2am. The distribution center is regularly refilled with sand by train. Great location, nice amenities except the grills. Also don't pet the cats they are feral.

The community is dirty. It also smells. The hallways and stairwells are dirty. The Valet trash does not always come. You can hear everything from every apartment so the walls are very thin.

Avana Westside, although a quaint and quiet community, is plagued by maintenance issues. For the money that you pay as a resident, you would expect a higher commitment to customer service. My apartment was leased with multiple issues. There was no bedroom closet door in my bedroom, no ceiling fan in my room, exposed nails at the base of the vanity in my bathroom, malfunctioning garbage disposal, broken dishwasher....the list goes on. It took 6 months into my initial lease, half of my lease term, to get my apartment into appropriate condition. I've complained several times to the leasing office/management. My concerns, both written and verbal, go unanswered or I'm provided with empty promises that are never followed up with measurable action. What makes it worse is that whenever financials are involved, the apartment is extremely responsive. I wish that would be the case for atoning for the abysmal experiences residents face, such as concessions for renewals to show atonement for mismanagement of the resident experience. My advice: spend your money in a community that values customer service over a dollar. After my renewal term is complete, this inefficient complex will be in my rearview.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND DIRTY
Management is horrible at responding to requests and communication in general. I put in two service requests to fix my dishwasher, which they still have not responded to. (It has been over 2 weeks). This place is dirty as I just saw roaches tonight in my very clean apartment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING HERE - I will be moving out as soon as my lease is up.

Staff is unresponsive and I regret living here
I lived in Avana Westside for 3 years. I have NEVER left a review for an apartment complex in the 20 years of rental history I have, but they have the right one today. I'll be objective for the property portion. The first year was great. Around year 2.5 the entire environment of the complex changed. A younger crowd started moving in and trashing up the place. There was always overflowing trash everywhere and I do believe that's also on the tenants to be more respectful of their living quarters. Now to my main issue. I bought a house in December, 2020 and put in the required two month notice to vacate in October 2020. I left multiple voicemails and emails in the portal about any cost associated with the move out but didn't get any responses. I moved out and to date have not received a final bill, just the pro-rated rent amount in the portal. (I paid full rent on time last month even though I moved out on December 18th because I thought that was the one month reletting fee) After having to drive up to the leasing office two days in a row, I was told that I owed an additional 2 months of rent as a cancellation fee, but this is not what the lease agreement states. The lease states I owe one month for reletting. To date, I have no final papers from my move out, and no response to any of my emails. This is not about the money, but about the staff never returning a phone call (to date) and never responding to any of my emails. So if you ever plan getting a house or terminating your lease early, DO NOT MOVE here because you will get ignored and the run around. I had to wait at the door 35 minutes just to be told to come back the next day. They are impossible to reach since the phones go to voicemail and no one answers. I regret living here for the way they treated me. I plan on telling everyone my situation because I did not deserve to be treated this way, and hope this helps someone else from being ignored. If you think I am complaining, I hope you never need straight answers from the leasing office or you will find out the hard way like I did.

Ready to move out!
The interior of my apartment is great - I love it, minus the fact that it has taken 18 days and counting for a service request for a broken ice machine to be completed. The staff in the office does not respond to emails quickly and they have been rude on numerous occasions. Really loved the woman who we signed our lease with but I haven't seen her around in a few months so I'm guessing she's no longer with the building - a shame. We have followed up on the request and the office staff rudely told my roommate that there were 200 other requests and that ours was not high priority. The trash in the complex is out of control - other tenants leave their dirty trash in the hallway outside their door or drop trash in the parking garage and as they walk down the hallways. Also, there has been broken glass in the parking garage, WHERE WE PARK, on multiple occasions and never gets cleaned up. Did not realize it was my job to clean up after other adults.... The pool has yet to reopen after Covid, yet the gym has reopened. We continue to pay our rent fully and on-time each month and to have our requests ignored is ridiculous.

Avana Westside is a great place to live. Near shopping and so close to downtown. Mercedes Benz stadium and more. Were I am it's pretty quiet and not a lot of foot traffic. Maintenance is courteous and efficient and management staff is kind and attentive.

Beautiful Location, Awful Management.
Nothing is consistent. Trash cans are always out, valet is always late. Cars are parked everywhere and anywhere, even in restricted fire zones. There is no reasoning behind the mismanagement of this place.
