We called to report a major water leak, maintenance came by and looked at it and said I will look more at the problem after my lunch, I was mad and went to the office and they called the police. The police said to me don’t worry about the call and have a nice day. DO NOT rent here. We have only been here for a week!!!!!

If I could rate these apartments zero stars then I would. The staff is absolutely terrible, they take forever to get back with you. The air is ALWAYS broken. We went almost a month in this heat without AC. The price is not worth it at all, the “hardwood” tile is always peeling. Everything is a cheap quick fix. Save your money and go elsewhere.

PLEASE do not ignore the bad reviews as I did. This place is by far one of THE worst in Huntsville. Poor customer service, extremely faulty amenities, and they cannot keep maintenance workers if their lives depended on it. Nothing is ever fixed on time at this place. The office staff lies and makes excuses for everything. Save yourself the headache and spend your money elsewhere.

We have an amazing maintenance supervisor that has been working over daily to get our work orders up to date. Feels like home. Very quiet and quaint. Love the big pantry & washer & dryer included. Lots of trees and wildlife. Business center/Game Center/pool table a plus. Love the new staff! Very accommodating. Pool, Dog Park, tennis courts, 24/7 fitness center. At Arsenal gate 7 on Martin Rd.

Management does absolutely nothing. Lived here nearly a year and gave up after the second month. They’ve never fixed anything properly and most of the things were day of move in that have never been fixed. Trash is always everywhere. Parking is atrocious. Amenities are great on paper but they are useless and for show. Everything is old and outdated but they act like they are remodeled.

I am a very quiet tenant. I rented a 2 bed 2 bath December. The main bath was broken. I have begged for repairs and no one ever comes but they do consistently say they will. I still pay for a 2 bed 2 bath every month promptly as my lease says. At this point it is April and I now have no main bath and no master bathroom toilet. I do not know what else to do so I came here to hopefully save someone else the trauma.

Management does not care about their tenants and they are never available. They up-sale you the place upon moving in and stop caring about any concerns you have after the lease is signed. Front office “staff” is very unprofessional. The paint job is horrible, bug issues (roaches/wasps), cheap carpets and flooring, leaking windows, loose toilets, crappy plumbing, parking is terrible, trash is always overfilled and scattered all over the ground, floods every time it rains, old a/c and heating systems, among many other things. If you can afford spending a little more, look else where. Don’t get tricked into signing a lease that you’ll regret later on.

Maintenance is a joke, parking is horrible, terrible paint job, holes in walls, cheap carpets/flooring, bug issues (roaches, wasps), leaking windows, horrible a/c and heating, front yard floods with a little rain, trash is always overflowing, and they never return calls or answer the phones when you call. If you have a little extra to spend, do so. Don’t get tricked into signing a lease that you’ll regret immediately.

Kerstin in the leasing office is so wonderful and friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your experience visiting or as a resident is phenomenal! The property is being updated and renovated so there are new finishes throughout the unit and the office/community space has some wonderful amenities. It’s conveniently located near Wall-Triana, the Arsenal, and I-565 access without feeling like you’re crowded by a ton of people. Publix is a stone’s throw away and there’s some great little eateries nearby! Everyone we’ve met in the neighborhood has been super friendly as well.

To all of the negative reviews out there I was recently informed we have been without maintinance for over two full months- though they were not worth anything when they were here. The office ladies have gone above and beyond trying to get things done despite not having anyone. My ceiling started leaking last week due to a water heater leak upstairs and kristena and kayla responded promptly to get the leak stopped and explain what the next steps. Our new Maintinance guy came out the next day and patched the ceiling and painted. I am very happy i decided to stay here after having so many problems with previous maintinance. There is a definate change coming to the property in a good way.
This is a very unprofessionally managed, poorly maintained and overpriced community. The management lies & avoids the residents. Many of the units have unaddressed mold issues from the countless roof & plumbing leaks and floods. The good reviews you see here are from mgmt coercing residents into writing a good review to offset the low score from the honest reviews.
I have lived here for 3 years and have never had any problems with maintenance, neighbors or office personnel. Maintenance responds within the day and issues are completed if possible within the same time. Being a pet friendly apartment complex you will meet your neighbors often at the pet park or swimming pool or gym. The neighbors are friendly and I have not had or heard any issues with others in the complex. Communication with the front office has always been awesome and any concerns were handled instantly by office personnel. Kayla (apartments manager) is very professional, hands on, fully involved and attentive to renters needs. Overall 5 stars!
I have not lived here but considering how rude they were to me when I was INTERESTED in giving them money for over a year (I was not going to be moving out anytime soon after moving in) I would NEVER live here. They were rude on the phone when I called in to ask about viewing a unit later that evening as I didn’t get off work until 5 and they closed at 5:30. I asked if they would be willing to stay open a few more minutes since I probably wouldn’t get there until 5:10 or 5:15 and she said “No. We close at 5:30.” So I said “O.K., do you offer viewings by appointment on Saturdays for those who can’t take off work to go see an apartment?” And she snorted and said “No. Is that all?” I said “yeah I guess so since you ...” and she hung up on me. If this is how they treat people who are interested in contractually agreeing to give them thousands of dollars, I don’t want to know how they treat people who have signed the contract and are needing maintenance or any sort of management services from them.
I don't usually blast company's online but maybe I can save someone else some grief. Viewed model unit August of 2018. The unit I viewed was very nice and completely updated. I was told the unit that was coming available and was to be mine was the same. It was NOT! I moved in to my unit on 8/31/18. Worst paint job I've ever seen. Peeling, bubbling, drips and overspray everywhere on everything (floors, appliances, etc.). All blinds and screens on windows destroyed. No ceiling fan in bedroom like there was in the model unit. AC Filter and bathroom exhaust fan so dirty and nasty that they would barely work. Bathroom vanity crumbling due to water leak. Water leak from washing machine. The list goes on. I went ahead and accepted the unit as I was basically homeless at the time with the agreement from management that the issues would be resolved. I even offered to help by hanging blinds and painting if they needed me to. I had to fix the washer myself. The only maintenance issue that has been resolved after 9 months is they came and hung new blinds. All others have been ignored. They have apparently changed management at least 3 times over the last 9 months. Now I'm having trouble even getting anyone to return my calls or emails. Last month I changed jobs and needed to be 2 days late with rent due to pay period changes. I notified them well in advance and asked for an exception. They refused to work with me on the May rent and I had to pay an additional $75 late charge for rent that was less than 48 hours late. So to avoid that situation again I paid it again out of my second pay period (5/20) and they happily debited my account but never applied the payment to June and also gave me a $35 NSF charge on my account like the charge was refused by my bank. It was not. Top it all off the rent I paid for June on May 20th is no longer available on my account and charges for June are still showing plus the $35 NSF charge. I have called and emailed several times over the past few weeks with no response. Overall the complex is decent but they do not make tenants adhere to any sort of covenants like keeping trash and garbage off of the doorsteps (Clearly listed in rental agreement). My neighbor consistently has several bags of trash and various other garbage items sitting outside the door for days and even weeks at a time smelling and drawing flies and critters. I will not be renewing my lease in August and would not recommend this complex to anyone.
We just moved here and apparently we moved in the middle of a staff overhaul. As you can imagine things have been quite hectic as is normal when you are going through staff changes, this can make new movers experience challenges they don’t expect. However, In this case the interim apartment manager Donna Really blew us away. Not only was she friendly and very attentive to our needs, but she gave impeccable attention to detail and when presented with frustration channeled that into a sense of urgency that got things done. A huge thank you to the maintenance man Steve as well, who even though he had to leave to deal with an emergency call, returned and completed the work without any fuss. Sometimes moving to a new city, especially one as large as Huntsville can be scary, but Belmont Hill is a place that can make it comfortable and enjoyable.
When I heard the complex was under new management, I was excited, I thought, they will take care of it. Unfortunately not!! Poor Management or Manager. They are not listening or care anymore. Property is going down the hill fast, They are not taking care of it, 1 on call maintenance guy, trees and bushes untrimmed, street lights and outdoor lights burned out. Trash is overfilled and stinks. Cars are left parked there for many days. The apartments may have a new looks inside, but very poor quality work and it is sad. I’d love to have the opportunity to give a feedback to the owners of this property if they truly care.

I have been back and forth from Alabama a while and finally decided on moving back to Huntsville after spending a few years in DC. Needless to say, it was not an easy process. The staff was friendly and professional. The manager made sure that I was well taken care of. Now that it’s all finished, I look forward to moving into my new apartment with the best deal in town.

I have been out shopping for a 2 bedroom apt, and been to several locations beside the Arsenal, I am relocating and work for the Military. I had been to about 3 apartment communities before this one. As I walked in the office the Leasing Consultant was out to lunch and was greeted by the Property Manager, very professional, and friendly, she was much more attentive and inviting then the other Managers in her area, offering refreshments and telling me about the area, she seemed to enjoy her job, Thanks Mrs. Williams for your time today, I will be back. I have lived here since May. The new property manager, Carla, and her assistant Holland are very on top of things. My outstanding work orders were completed within two hours of my email to them. They turned an unhappy resident into a very happy resident and restored my faith in the community. Holland always answered my calls in such a warm and inviting way. I love these apartments. Not only is there a dog park for me to stretch my legs in, but there apartment staff are amazingly friendly. The property manager has even gotten down on the floor to play with me and run around the office, because my mommy brought me in when checking the mail. Staff always greets me on property and I've never been pet so many times since we've moved here. It's tail waggingly good. Only complaint, office doesn't have enough dog treats. Do not count on getting anything done because the manager is never at work. You work orders will not be taken care of and the one person in the office that answers the phone does not know what he is doing so we have quit calling. I can not wait to move.

I manage a large multi-site business in the area and have referred several employees to Belmont Hills when looking for an apartment community. Every employee was made to feel welcome by the Belmont Hills staff, enjoyed the tour of the property and left feeling well equipped to make a decision about leasing there. Several had specific questions that were directed to the property manager and they raved about her professionalism and attention to detail addressing their questions. I now have employees living there. It is refreshing to have an apartment community that I can recommend knowing they will treat prospective and new tenants with respect and the highest level of customer service. The service receiving the apartments was good. I called a day ahead to see the place and they were ready to show it and everything was ready as management stated. The whole process was pretty simply, no complaints or worries, it went well.

Have been living at this complex for three months now. Nothing but issues. We had cockroaches in the apartment on our initial walk-through. The pest control company was really good about getting out here to take care of it but now that new management has moved in and we have roaches and spiders again we are told that management "is still learning the ropes". That is a direct quote from them. There is a pool at this property but good luck on knowing when it's open. They have recently informed us that they will be closing the pool every Monday for maintenance. All day to shock and clean a pool. Even if it did need to be closed all day, which it does not, it seems to be closed outside of normal hours all the time. My wife has lugged two kids up there twice already, inside of pool hours, only to find the pool closed with no warning, no sign, and no one in the office to explain. If there is so much work to do in the pool area they could at least put some toilet paper and paper towels in the bathroom there that never seems to get cleaned. Speaking of cleaning we moved into this place and two days later were told our stroller was an eyesore and we needed to do something about it. Meanwhile there has been bags of trash, I could only assume was left by staff, outside the empty apartment above us. There is constantly bags of trash overflowing all over the ground from the very poorly placed dumpsters littered across the property. No one seems to know the hours they are in the office. There is no posted work hours and I have seen several times people waiting outside, appearing to be potential tenants, and nobody in the office. The apartments are renovated with the cheapest possible materials. The floors scratch extremely easily, A/C unit must be 20 years neglected, stuff they sprayed on the shower to make it look new is already peeling off, and if you touch the walls the paint peels right off. Only been here three months. Would not recommend and am already looking elsewhere.

I just moved in the end of August and I have been loving it. It is extremely close to my job on the arsenal so that has been the major bonus. I am new to Huntsville and not completely familiar with the area, being so close to work really helps. The maintenance department has been really attentive to my needs. They responded the same day to my maintenance request. When I was moving in the girls in the office were really helpful and accommodated all my request. I had a lot of questions and they answered everyone of them. They were very understanding that I could not commit to a lease agreement till my security clearance cleared. The application process was really simple. I applied right online for free and submitted my new hire letter. They got back to me within an hour of me applying. The apartment has all new appliances, the kitchen looks great with the subway tile back splash. I also like the new flooring. I am in a 2x2 which is a great chose for me. I like the extra bedroom for an office space and the second bathroom for company. The property has a swimming pool and fitness center. I love the fitness center because it is 24 hours. Property is really clean and well maintained. I do feel that the trash containers need to be closer to apartments. But I guess it would be not a good idea to have the garbage right outside the door. It would smell and attract animals.

Maybe this place will be worth a good review 'tomorrow.' If you end up living here, you will hear that word a lot. And unfortunately due to the workmanship going into the remodeling of these apartments you will be forced to interact with the maintenance crew/office to get things fixed a lot. But don't expect any haste or sense of urgency when dealing with anything. Since I've been here the maintenance staff has been a revolving door with a new face showing up every few weeks. Whoever repainted looks like they were in and out in a hurry as they didn't even remove debris from the walls before spay painting spider webs and the like in closeted areas. Some of the shelves were missing support braces and upon moving in and hanging up clothes they started sagging to a point where I thought it might come off the wall. This is the first place I have lived in the past 6 years that didn't handle air conditioner issues after business hours in extreme heat (Alabama summer). No one enjoys sleeping in a pool of their own sweat and the only thing they didn't seem to update in the remodeling of these apartments is the air conditioner unit (20 years old). No less than a couple months into my stay here the unit seemed to be lacking enough refrigerant to keep the coils from freezing over and leaving my apartment a makeshift oven maintaining a near perfect match of the temperature just outside my doorstep (80-90 ). But after filling out a maintenance request there was no sense of urgency to help out with this, or any other, problem. Every time I inquire about the status of any pending requests the answer was, is, and always will be 'tomorrow' but I'm here to tell you, 'tomorrow' is always a day away. Find somewhere else to stay.
