Decent apartment although there is no frontgate. Affordable and easily livable for the price. Does need some updating to the roommate matching as it matched me with pet owners as a person who specifically said no pets.

I have been living at Cabana Beach since August. I think the community is great. Its such a quiet lovely place to live and relax. has a great pool, and great people cant get any better than that

I moved in the beginning of semester. Was told I could get an apartment with my sisters. For such a short notice they were very accommodating. So far so good! no problems to date.
Great community! Friendly staff and safe and fun environment. The office answers fast and get back to us immediately about problems we may be having.

It's good for the price, but the walls in the units are very thin. I can hear nearly every conversation in the surrounding rooms. Just be aware of that if you like peace and quiet.
I love the community it became a very nice fit for and turned out nice. Maintenance is very quick and I never have to worry about serious problems.
Great views and close to everything in town. Apartment is clean and has working utilities. Love the 24/7 gym they just opened, also very quiet
Very quiet and calm. Office is always having events for the community and opportunities to earn or get free items like food. Maintenance takes about a few days to get to you but other than that there’s not really any problems.

Cabana beach has so many activities and give aways it’s really cool living here. I would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here in the future
Cabana Beach is a great place to live. My only complaint is that since reaching full capacity it has gotten extremely loud and there is no security patrolling at night.
I'm person that goes with flow and i have good luck so to those that don't really care this place is fine for being ur first apartment, it's normal for apartment places to not be perfect but it's okay, what matters is how you make your time hear, and i made the best roommates ever here!
This complex is way over priced for what you get. The maintenance is super slow, the wifi barely even works, the front desk does not listen to tenant complaints at all and is no help in anything, and they charge WAY too much for utilities. I've lived here for the past two years and this year, I (along with many others living here) am on my last nerve with this place. Please, I beg you, if you are thinking of living here, reconsider. There are a lot of good places in San Marcos, way better than this place for a better price.
At first it seems likes a nice apartment complex; the models look nice, the front desk people are friendly and seem helpful, and the rent is cheap. Yet, when you move it you find all the flaws. "Fully furnished" does not include a dresser and you end up buying more funiture because what they offer is insufficient. The desk has no draws or cabinets, the sink in the bathroom has no counter space and only the tiniest of cabinets. There is no place to put anything. The shower head just sprays a mist. The kitchen has so little cabinet space it is hard to share with one person, let alone two. They recently upgraded the beds; they are taller so you can stash thinks under them but they do not have a head board and the frame is so thick that even when backed against the wall it is a fight to keep pillows on the bed. Then there is management. They are COMPLETELY unresponsive. They are always 'nice' at the front desk when you call them, but they don't actually do anything. I've put in work orders with them before the they never put in the system, and once, when they did put it in the system, the matainence guy just electronically checked it off, saying he did it without ever coming to the apartment.
The apartments are expensive for a full time student such as myself. I work to pay the bills. At the end of the day I'm not proud to work hard to pay the rent. There is still mold in the window. I've complained about it many times. Oh well. I guess it is a college town.
