Property Ratings at Carlyle Court
If you are looking for an apartment with stainless steel appliances and brand new vinyl flooring this is not the place. HOWEVER, I have had a great experience here. This is the fourth year I have been living here and I appreciate it more every year. The cost of living is sky rocketing and this place really is worth it. Everything in my apartment works and the maintenance workers are quick to respond and very nice. The complex reminds me a lot of a small quiet neighborhood. The staff does a great job at maintaining the grounds and keeping the community updated. Great place!
I highly recommend, close to stores, great apartments, and one of the friendliest staffs you would want helping you through the process. Great people and makes you feel at ease.

Very organized, friendly, top-notch staff! Clean community, nice neighbors..Older apts but well kept and great pricing. Many of my neighbors have been here for several years, like myself.
So handy to Kroger, Target, Whole Foods and Monon Trail. Its very quiet and I have the best neighbors. We have been here since 2017 in a 2 BR 2 Bath unit. It would be nice to have some of the updates in other apts but they did put down new wood laminate flooring in kitchen and baths when I asked for and signed the renewal lease. Maintenance staff is amazing - some of the best in any apts I have lived in. Parking can be a bit tight which is the only negative I can come up with and sometimes visitors park in front of the building for too long but its not all the time so not a big deal. For the price and location it's a great place.
I lived here from 2018-2020. I had two major safety concerns. One was maintenance attempting to enter my apartment at 1 am without announcing themselves. I called the office the next day and found out later that the same man answered the phone so management never knew about my concern. The second was being stalked in the parking lot leading to the person “trapping” me by blocking my way with his car. In addition o the safety concerns the unit was disgusting. They painted over wire so it was fused to the wall instead of properly threaded inside. All appliances were incredibly outdated despite the leasing agent telling me they would be updated prior to my move in. The until was also not ready for my move in and I had maintenance installing flooring for the first two days of my lease. The new management tried to correct the wrong doings of staff in the past but at that point nothing could make me feel safe and clean in that apartment. Parking spaces are obnoxiously small as well. If touring, drive and park in the back before deciding.
They allow smoking and my neighbor across the hall smokes all day. It's so bad that my mom will not visit and all my clothes smell. Everytime someone visits they are astonished that smoking inside is allowed. The stairway and entrance area is disgustingly smoky and smells absolutely horrible.

I moved here from MA in 2015 and after a sort of nightmare with the leasing agent Chris and which apartment I had signed up for I finally moved in. Things were pretty great until the break ins started happening. My apartment alone had 4 attempts on my patio door. 2 in September and 2 and January. Come October 2016 the girl living above me had her apartment broken into and she was tied up and sexually assaulted. We then found out it had happened to another girl a couple buildings down. When I went to the office about my break ins they offered no security or peace of mind. When the flyers started coming around to watch for this man that had been terrorizing the apartment communities women that was it. I was not safe. The incident above me was too close to home and I had to leave. I moved back to MA and my friend that still lived there was sent another flyer about the same man but they had a sketch of him this time. This was in February now. He had assaulted more than 4 women in the Carlyle community. It could have been me next. I wasn't waiting around to be raped. This place does not care about your safety. They did nothing to try and catch this person. No security. The positive was the location was close to the Monon trail. It was fine to live there until the crime swooped in and they just let it continue uncontested.
My roommate and I were looking for an apartment that had to have 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms that were about the same size, and in unit laundry. This apartment is a great size and are located in a very quiet area. Maintenance issues are taken care of quickly and without any issues. The only concerns I have had are with the occasional bug. While they are not my favorite, they are rarely seen. All in all, it is a great complex with great and easy to work with staff! Will be staying here a while!
location is awesome & convenient! Just 2 minutes away from 465. Monon trail is just across the street. Leasing office have nice people, but they come as & go. Super quiet area, never have to complain about noise late at night. Only thing I don't like are the parking lots. The parking spots are only big enough for people who own smart cars it seems like. It doesn't help that the people don't park straight either. My cat has been dented a coupe times due to this.
Location is the best thing about this place. Trails, highway and shopping all easily accessible.Quiet/safe environment. Parking and maintenance are only cons. For the area these apartments are a great deal.
