Property Ratings at Cascade Park
I love my apartment! It is so quiet and clean. The mail room is organized and the security is great. The gardens are lovely and I can’t wait for fall and the colder seasons- it will feel so cozy
Such a wonderful community! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming to each other! I’ve only been here a few days and am so happy! This place is beautiful and fun!
Shandi was very kind in showing me several apartments and getting me into my apartment early since I was going on vacation mid month and that would delay my move.
I came for an appointment I made for a tour. No one answered the door or the phone. I walked all around the property waiting for a response to my message and got none. My appointment was at 1 pm. It is 7pm ands they still haven’t reached out. Very unprofessional. Guess they don’t need my money.
The apartment itself is in desperate need of renovation. Yes, the "old charm" is what sucks people in, and I agree, it could be SO good if they would just spend some time renovating things! The walls are peeling, the tiles in the bathroom are coming up because there is no vent or fan, the entire apartment smells like sewage from the old pipes, neighbors smoke comes straight through the walls, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, the floors cause splinters because all the wood is splitting, bugs and beetles get in through the cracks in the floorboards, baseboards, and the the door doesn't seal. The maintenance staff are very nice but set off my alarm every time they try to come in & one time didn't lock my door when they left leading to a stranger off the street walking in. The floor plans on the internet aren't even slightly close to what the apartment looks like. The lack of communication from office staff is appalling. I went without a mailbox for a week, I went with a door that didn't seal for months, my oven shut down on Christmas Eve and wasn't fixed for days. I wish I never would have leased here. They turnover office staff frequently. Yes, the outside of the building is cool. Nothing else is.
Location is the only thing that's going for this place. Unresponsive management and one maintenance technician that's shared with another property equals a place that I can't wait to move out of. I cannot believe they have asked us to remain patient with issues that have been constant in nature, and then never fix said issues. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is not worth the money, and you can get a much nicer apartment somewhere else.

Maddy (previously Brian) is an absolute asset to this organization making everything from moving in to regular maintenance issues, completely stress free. I love the sense of community here, too. Upon moving out, Maddy lent more than just a kind hand in helping prepare for our leave but has been an absolute pleasure to work with! Cascade Park will forever hold a special place in my heart and feels like home! The past 3 years were amazing.

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day! We hope to see you soon!
Although I only lived here for about 6 months, the property is nothing short of magnificent! Historic brick buildings with cascading vines and lush green grounds situated super close to downtown, but still felt very safe...seriously what’s not to love?! And another huge perk is that the property is extremely dog friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to point people in the direction of Cascade Park; they have the best management and service team that I’ve ever experienced while renting!

Just walking by this amazing property sent aspiration and chills down my wifes and my backs. We are Resident Property Manager for the Beverly Apartments downtown, and what we would give to have the same position and the same perks we have here over in that beautifu complex. You can tell by looking at it how well it is run and managed. Nothing more needs to be said about this unique property. John and Vic Schwab jschwab64@yahoo.com 858-947-8330
