Property Ratings at Chateau Apartments
massive mouse infestation that they can't control at all, literal piles of garbage, cigarettes and broken debris everywhere you go, routine garbage pick up issues, horrible quality building materials that break all the time, just don't live here, if they took 1,000$ off our monthly rent I still wouldn't live here not to mention the office only calls or emails back about 1/3 of the time you contact them
If I could give zero stars I would. The property manager is terrible. My apartment literally had drywall clumps falling from the ceiling because of the leaking The area is in a bad neighborhood.with ots of crime. dog sht everywhere the only good thing about this place is the rent is cheap save yourself a headache go somewhere elese.
This place is disgusting literally bats and rats running around inside the apartment! Maintenance told us “oh that happens sometimes even squirrels can get in” GROSS. Manager office sends out threatening letters of eviction by mistake then gets pissed off when you ask about it! Run run run
The staff here is very rude! They called me and told me I was approved and went on to show me an apartment. The lady told me to bring in my pay stubs so we can start the process and get a move in date. I came back to do that and she began to demand I pay 50 dollars for the application, which I already did. She also continued to tell me that she never had an application from me. After several minutes she finally “found” it. She was very dismissive and had a smart mouth. I sent in my paystubs and never heard from them again. I called and told them, the woman told me to hold on, then hung up and never called back. They are just giving me the run around. I don’t suggest doing business with this unprofessional, rude, and dismissive place.
Although the apartments are good looking, the management is horrible. The landlord is quite rude and to get something fixed...will never happen or get fixed to where it needs to get fixed again. All they care about is getting paid.
I called to ask a basic question about available for 2br apt. The lady who answered the phone was outright condescending. Her tone of voice, her answers; plain pathetic! She right away said I needed to make 1150/wk. I asked her if they were income based assuming they were low income since I don't meet criteria for low income. She said I had to come in even after I said I was out of state trying to secure a place. I thought they would have online applications since everything can be done online. Needless to say very unprofessional staff and doing a disservice to these apartments since I will be looking elsewhere. Basic interpersonal etiquette generally lacking. Please train her so that your apartments don't remain empty unnecessarily.
I moved in here a little over a year ago and have been pretty happy with it. I plan on staying here for while before I establish a home elsewhere. In the year I've been here, I've only had 3 maintenance issues which were fixed quickly. The kitchen is great and its nice having a patio in the back. The only complaint I would have is that the parking isn't really enforced and i constantly come home from work to cars without the permits parked where they're not supposed to be parked. But other than that, it's worlds better than the last apartment I had. I'm happy with chateau apartments.
This apartment is fairly clean and no bugs. My only main problem is with that you can hear everything and every movement from people that live above you. Also there are no signs anywhere that pet owners have to clean up after their pets so a lot of the residents don't pick up after their pets. The leasing office is not very involved in upholding their "guidelines". There is a part of the apartment grounds that floods every time it rains but aside from that the apartment is pretty nice.
I've been happy here for 4 years so far. Pretty large rooms, kitchen and dining room are joined. They have central air for the summer and everybody has a private entrance. It's close to the Burlington Center Mall and about 4 strip malls are very close by. They use parking permits if you have a car to make sure you park about 20 feet from your front door. I have a one bedroom downstairs apartment but they have upstairs apartments that are one or two bedrooms. Rent is reasonable and competitive for south jersey. I recommend checking out Chateau Apts. in Burlington Township
My husband and I moved to this apartment complex because the rent was decent for our area and they allowed dogs for a low, additional monthly fee. The apartments themselves are pretty dated, but if anything breaks, maintenance is usually only a quick phone call and 15 minutes away. The area itself is pretty safe, but like anywhere, we see the police from time to time. We do have some problems with children playing/damaging residents' cars, but that is being taken care of. I only wish that they had the ability to pay rent online, but it is still only paid buy check or money order.
Lacks in customer service and makes up for it with poor maintenance response. I was very unhappy with the quality of life offered here. Too expensive to be so unresponsive and lax towards residents! Run don't walk this place is your worst nightmare.
Although the rent is fairly low, I would have to say that you get what you pay for. It takes months for maintenance personnel to fix any issues with your apartment. I complained about several issues on various occasions and the maintenance personnel would never fix the issue. I have had my water pipes burst, my heat go out for over a week in the winter months, and recently I have to put up my my neighbors smoking in the apartment. Their smoke goes through my ventilation system and it is not bearable. Last but not least, I my drier is not the best and you would be better off taking your clothes to the laundry mat if you don't want to wast electricity using your drier that does not work. I have never written a review before, however I felt that I needed to put my two cents in to warn the next possible tenants.
Very quiet. Nice neighborhood. Convenient to schools
I have lived here for over 5 years and Chateau is a good value for the money. The staff is nice and they take care of any complaints. The outside is well maintained. The rent is good for this area. I have been happy being here and have suggested it to some of my friends. They seem to be happy here also.
I have been here since 1999. The outside of the apartments look better then they did at first as of 2006. I do not ask much but for simple repairs and only get that when annual inspection fails something. Been asking for my dishwasher timer to get fixed since 2009 and have not gotten that done yet even though same guy comes out to look at it? Been asking for a washer since 2009 and get the same response that I will have to wait? Been asking for new carpet since 2009 and paint still got the same carpet that was in my unit since 1997, which I been here since 1999, carpet was here 2 years before me and was not new, no to mention bay in my unit has asthma and teen daughter has respiratory problems too. And we all have allergies and I vacuum a canister a day of all the stuff in the carpet , no lie you can come see for yourself... other than that this is the first year I did not have any issues or being without heat like all the other years.Minor repairs, ant and spider issues I take care of myself cause I do not count on the exterminator to ever come. All I ask is for carpet, paint and washer/ dryer.I would even take a used dish washer or just fix the timer.
