Property Ratings at Cobblestone Crossings Apartments
DO NOT PUT A HOLD DEPOSIT. It will take an act of God to get it back. I applied to this apartment complex, meeting all minimum requirements. As such, I paid for a hold on an apartment of $200.00. This was on June 20th. They then said I needed a co-signer because I own my house but name is not on the title. I declined and then requested a refund immediately the same day. It is now August 5th and I still have not received my refund despite numerous attempts to do so. The reply I have gotten stated that "...corporate will have to issue a check and I will have to go pick it up..." but so far, I have not received it, which I am pretty sure is against the law. I will have to ask my attorney when I speak to him about next steps. No luxury apartment would act like this with applicants. Beware. 7th

Sold our house while the market is up and going from a big house to an apartment is kinda scary..until I saw the apartment size with a 2 car garage, it made it a lot less scary. It almost feels like a house - one I just don't have to cut the grass for or maintain a pool lol. This is a beautiful place and I can't wait to move in!

It makes our day to know that the past few years you've spent in our community have been so wonderful. We greatly appreciate your recommendation of Cobblestone Crossings! Sincerely, Brian S., Community Manager
Staff is AWFUL! The property manager will tell you they can come in your apartment whenever they want for whatever they want without giving you any notice! They refuse to fix things, even when you outlets start on fire! The most unprofessional office staffing. The safety of the buildings mean nothing to them! I can't wait to move out of this place!
I lived here for 4 years. Without notice all internet/TV was pulled out of the whole complex. I have been without internet for 2 days now. A tech was sent out and he gets here and tells me that Cobblestone pulled them out. Not one notice from them. I work from home remote to my job, internet is very important as without it I can't work.
Staff is rude and disrespectful and very unprofessional.Poor maintenance service.Poor insulation which gives you super expensive electric bills.Do Not Recommend At ALL.It's a trashy place!
Cobblestone Crossing in terre haute Indiana is the worst Apartment in united states. Their rent is very high and they overcharge their tenants in well water bills which is also contaminated. They do not have meters rather they quote what they want and force tenants to pay. They also forced their tenants to pay $60 monthly for cable bills which is less than 20 channels. Many appliances in my apartment is not working. This is my story. I have three little children living with me and the dish washer in my apartment has not been working since I moved into the apartment. The dish washer has dirty standing water in them which has a very foul odor and it caused my apartment to smell. After so many things to eliminate the odor like draining the dirty water daily, I decided to dump packets of baking powder in it and the smell s is still strong. Now I put a baking powder in a bowel and leave it inside the dish water to stop it from smelling and it does not work also.. I have been calling the office to come and repair this dish water or at least take it out because it is broken and do not work. One of their worker called Brittany told me that "it is not an emergency". This is going to three months now and still nothing is being done to fix it. I have called and spoken to almost everyone in the office and still nothing is done. I am afraid the impart this might have me and on my children's health. How can Cobblestone be this cruel, and disregards to human life and health. The well water they are charging me so high is not safe to drink because there is bunch of white deposits in the water. it looks like clay and the taste is horrible. I am advising the public to please avoid Cobblestone crossing apartments if they love themselves and their children. I hope the state of Indiana and the CDC department will investigate this criminals
The staff at Cobblestone Apartments are all in professional. They have been caught drinking on the job multiple times, by multiple tenants. They do not truly care about their tenants, and are only in it for the ridiculous amount of rent money they are making. They increased rent and sent out multiple fines for the neighborhood, and when questioned, they admitted that it was going into "slow season" and they had empty unitsand needed to make the money up somewhere. To me this is why you continuously have empty units. Treat the ones who currently rent with you the right way, and they will stay. On top of that, the neighborhood has went straight downhill. There are break ins happening more than normal, there is constantly trash scattered along the property, more heavily in some areas, they are allowing people to smoke marijuana on the property, in plain sight. The property owner, Jim, was great. Until as of late. Within the last year, he has put way too much faith in his crew that works in the leasing office. In my honest opinion they should all be terminated and he should find new workers who are passionate around the tenants. From there I bet the turnover rate for the apartments would go down. I personally think rent is too high now, but I would gladly pay more for a place that treats their tenants like people, and not dollar signs. I hope this was helpful, I have been a resident on the property for multiple years, never had a complaint filed against me, always pay my rent on time, and have become friends with a lot of my neighbors. Cobblestone was once upon a time, a great place to live.....
I don't understand the price in which these apartment buildings charge. It's in a town that is partly out in the country, half of the complex has a completely different energy company, it's $1100 for a 2 BDRM (that's Orlando, Florida prices for a 2 BDRM) which says A LOT. Also the leasing office and management workers are not all on the same wavelength meaning no one ever knows what's going on with leasing and tenant relationships. Complex rules and regulations are also never followed or apllied by or to everyone.
Cobblestone Crossing is a very nice place to raise a family with all the nice school districts close by. Also it is very clean and they keep everything up to date.
Cobblestone Crossings is a great place to stay with their new model buildings opening up and their great location by stores to their activity center outside. They are quick to get things done in a timely manner and they work with you. If your going to school or just want a small quiet commute to live in for a fair price Cobblestone is the place to stay.
