Nestled between downtown Fort Worth and nearby Arlington, the East Fort Worth area combines the best of both areas. The residential areas are a welcome escape from the "big city" feel of neighborhoods closer to the downtown area. However, East Forth Worth residents find that they have plenty to do and see and plenty of convenient amenities available to them, right in the neighborhood.
The East Fort Worth area is more diverse than other neighborhoods within the city, in large part because it stretches out through the mid-cities, almost to the Irving and Grapevine areas. From the outer east portion of the city, residents have access to Lake Arlington, numerous major roadways and a wide stretch of the Trinity River. Aditionally, residents can access the downtown area of the city in under 20 minutes from most locations within the outer East Fort Worth neighborhood.

Property Ratings at Tides on Oakland Hills
Unfortunately, I took the risk of reading past the reviews and applied and was ghosted. I had to contact two other Tides locations leading offices in order to get a response from Oakland Hills. Left hanging completely. Traveled over 13 hours to tour to be ghosted after submitting an application. Not exactly sure what is wanted or how to proceed with even trying to live here. I will note that during my tour there were 3 separate tenants with complaints of bugs- however I still overlooked. I take responsibility for ignoring the reviews listed. KEEP LOOKING

Not worth living here so many problems. Starting with parking, you have to walk like a mile away from your apartment and even then worry about getting your car towed. Also you get your cars broken into, sometimes they just look through your stuff and other times they take whatever you have like expensive tools. In the apartment itself, looks nice but there is roaches coming out all the time. No cold water, only boiling hot water most of the time. You can't take showers or wash dishes without getting burn. Thank God we'll be able to leave soon.
I called just now to get some further information about touring, leasing etc and the phone was picked up and hung up TWICE. Glad I called instead of scheduling online or coming in because that tells me everything I need to know. I’ll be moving elsewhere.
Horrible apartments!! We moved in December 2021, it’s now November 2022 and in that time we’ve had our first apartment flood due to faulty pool equipment, they came pulled some padding out from under the carpet and left it to rot and mold and we had to ask to move. After moving we were charged a series of fees we thought covered our past due costs and a reserved parking spot. As it turns out the staff never proceeded any paperwork for our car when we moved in so we were towed. We thought we resolved the issue and paid again and we’re towed for the same reason a few months later. The staff is EXTREMELY rude, the female people in the office cut you off don’t let you get any words in, make you feel like you’re the problem and they could care less while making sure nothing you’ve asked them to do gets done and it’ll end up costing you money. It took a week to get a mailbox key because 2 of the staff didn’t put the work order in the 2 different days I asked. The pool if beautiful but wasn’t open the past few years..don’t be fooled!!! Our apartment is slanted at a significant slope, the construction is terrible. Not a great place for kids, loud domestic disputes and gunshots happen often. Overall only come to this place if you need somewhere now, the renovations look good but the place is beyond crap..spend your money elsewhere!!!!!!!!!
I was told this property was just taken over by Tides a few weeks ago. As a prospective tenant I toured one of the units and as soon as the door opened there was a dead roach in the doorway. There were also multiple dead roaches scattered on the bedroom carpet and in the closet. Absolutely disgusting!!!
I've been living here since 2019, and the management takes forever to take care of any repairs that you request, also they have a big problem with roaches... my apartment it's now infested by them and no matter how hard i try, I can't get rid of them, also my apartment has an electrical issue and I notified them a long time ago but they only fix small problems and ignore the main one, I need to replace every light bulb at least once every 6 months because they stop working one by one, my fridge outlet stopped working last year after the snow incident and they took more than 3 weeks to fix the problem, and my smoke alarm goes off pretty often because instead of using the electricity from the apartment (as it should) it consumes the battery so i had to change it a few times on the middle of the night, they already changed the smoke alarm twice but i keep telling them that the problem is an electric issue, not the alarms.
I wish I could give this place zero stars. They moved me into an apartment that was infested with roaches and even though I called corporate the same day and alerted office staff the same day of move-in they refused to let me out of the lease and charged me $1700 which is now destroying my credit!!!! I’d rather pay an attorney that $1700 and you WILL hear from mine.

I’ve lived in this apt complex for almost 7 months now, and let me tell you, this place is INFESTED with roaches! They are everywhere!! Your kitchen, restroom , bedrooms! Ugh it’s a mess! You can’t even cook comfortably because as soon as they smell food they come out. I can’t wait for my lease to be over and get out!

Management and staff is amazing. Leasing office is attentive. Great apartments!
I cannot stress strongly enough how screwed up this place is. The office staff are completely useless. Most of the tenants are extremely rude and slam their doors, stomp around on 2nd and 3rd floors, screech their tires throughout the parking lot, etc. You can hear gunshots going off every few nights or so. The maintenance people do the very minimal on repairs if they even respond at all. I've been forced to live with the smell of animal pee for the last few months because of the tenants below me not cleaning up after their pets and the countless complaints I've submitted has resulted in zero action taken - I just have to live with it apparently. Other than the floorplan of the apartment itself, I HATE THIS PLACE AND THE PEOPLE THAT POPULATE AND STAFF IT! I AM MISERABLE!
Great value apartment. Service is above average for the range of rent. I am going on my second year here. I enjoy it. I do reccommend having your own washer/dryer. Tenants are laid back and friendly as far as I can tell. Let me know if this helps.
Moved into this complex about 2 years ago, and despite the local neighborhood appearance these apartments are a step up in terms of appearance and quality of life and tenants. The problem I have with them is strictly management. The leasing agent I had upon my move in was perfect and very tentative to everyone's needs that came to the office or even called her. Alas, those days are long gone. I don't even like getting packages delivered to the office because the current staff just makes it seems like it's such a burden to get out from behind their desk and essentially help people who live in their complex. My car has been illegally towed due to a haphazardly enforced towing regulation which they started just this year ( car was parked for 3 weeks unattended while I was away, and the 4th week I'm here, there is no notice on the vehicle and nothing on my door and my car gets towed overnight. Management refused to help of course claiming no liability, it's a whole mess.) Vehicle has been broken into along with several apartments near to me. They claim to have a courtesy patrol on staff, but I certainly don't see a single soul patrolling the grounds. My A/C has worked intermittently all summer long, and instead of replacing it, they just get the maintenance guys to come out and temporarily fix the problem (Coldest it gets in the middle of the night in summer now is 80; unacceptable). If you can tolerate lackluster management, and substandard A/C in Texas (ha), this is the place for you.
they are very poor customer service and highly dangerous foundation problems! balconies are cracked and collapsing! maintenance has no knowledge of any type of services need! I had a leaking a/c and all they did was vacuum up the water and day it was fixed! they refused to fix the cracked toilet without us paying because their foundation broke both of them! there are bugs everywhere! and exterminator sprayed one room and said all done! still having bug problems! I would not recommend these apartments!
It isn't too much noise and the area has improved as a whole. I do feel the rent is quite overpriced for the space you are given. Management is decent they are friendly. I don't have complaints outside of the entrance gate barely working and a wishy washy towing system. More of a single persons place to live.
