Property Ratings at East Village
We loved out apartment and the office staff but for the size of the place and what you get the prices are a little steep. Overall we would rent there again but mostly because how amazing the office staff was.
Just like the other review says, management is terrible. They don't fix anything, don't respond to emails or phone calls, and are generally disrespectful. I had an appointment with the landlord and she never showed up. I have tried to get a hold of her for over a month since and she has dodged my calls to her personal and office phones. The apartment is under Sooner Traditions Realty, go google the reviews and you'll see this is a common trend. I sent a maintenance request weeks ago and no one has reached out and nothing has been done. A lot of homeless people hang out around the buildings and slept in our stairwell over the winter (not saying they're inherently dangerous, but it can be intimidating as a young woman). Management said to just call the cops about it. I've had multiple packages stolen and management didn't care. The elevator has been filled with trash, I've seen domestic violence on my floor, cockroaches, dog fights, and way more.
expect everything to be broken when you move in and for none of it to get fixed. also don't expect anyone to answer your emails, they won't. They'll also accuse you of not paying rent when you did. if I could rate 0 stars I would.
