Spent 30 minutes in the office discussing “what we are about to tour” which I thought was odd. (Move in is ASAP). Just to be told once they show me a random unit with everything I specified I didn’t want that nothing is available. Also heard from neighbors that cops are here constantly. Management gave me the run around and was impossible to contact.

My mother, her husband and several of their close friends live in Elements. Until the recent management changes, they were afraid to request maintenance - and even when they would, their concerns were left ignored. They were threatened by former management with having to pay out of pocket to handle a preexisting pest problem that had been ongoing since the date of move-in. The new property manager is AMAZING, a true godsend. Since the new manager has taken over, all of their concerns are being attended. I sleep well at night knowing my elderly mother is in a property managed by such a capable, attentive and personable manager. I would recommend this property to anyone - as long as Callie has the reigns.

I moved here from Florida back in November and needless to say that process was difficult enough but the leasing staff was so helpful and made the process easy. We arrived a little early so the treated us to lunch. Listen it’s the little things. Since we have live here it’s been nothing less then amazing. We had an emergency where my daughter got locked in the bathroom they sent someone right away to help get her out. If you are thinking about moving here I encourage you to do so.

The staff are phenomenal, especially Will! I couldn’t be more pleased with how they treat people.
I have been living at this apartment complex since May of 2019. Before the management company was unprofessional, disorganized, and never at the office during their posted hours. It was a headache trying to get them to fix anything and the manager was rude and disrespectful. Since they changed companies a few months ago it has greatly improved here. They are fixing things on time and upgrading the property to improve living.

A woman named Sommer gave me a quote. I submitted my application in time. It got approved. The next day, other lady over there says that my quote was already expired and the rates are higher now. Why did they give me an expired quote? And it was not a mistake.She did that on purpose. The other lady didn’t take any responsibility. It seemed like they are working as individuals and not one management company. They wasted my time and I got a credit check on my report for no reason. My current lease is going to end in 3 weeks. If I had known, I would have gone for other better options in time. It was so clear that they were trying to fool me. They just needed more money. Money hungry, I would say.
I am not sure how I found this place but i did and it appears to be just for me. Within 2 hours I was assisted in every way possible by Ms. Kim after beginning to look for an apt at the last minute. The application process was simple and easy I’m expecting my move in to be just the same! I’m soooo excited to move in my spacious apartment! Will give an update once I move in.
I lived at The Elements of Madison for 22 months and it was 22 months too long. It started off with a sales associate telling me what she thought I wanted to hear and then didn't follow through, twice! A simple phone call to let me know her plans had changed would have worked, but not even this simple consideration was given to a New resident! There was a problem with one of the toilets leaking water. The water in that toilet ran constantly. It took them 21 days to get it repaired. I would send a notice through the resident portal on their website and the next day it was noted that it was fixed. Not only was it not fixed but no one even got in touch with me. So I would send another note stating it wasn't fixed and the portal stated it was. ARGG! Thank goodness I rented a unit with 2 bathrooms! The water heater in the upstairs unit leaked into my unit in October of '18. They sent someone over at 8 o'clock at night to vacuum up the water and said someone would be looking at what needs to be repaired. Not once was there an offer to test for mold. Yes, the drywall was soaked as well as the moldings and carpet. I reported the water intrusion and the damage it did to the ceiling and surrounding area to the office in Oct., Nov., Dec., Jan., Feb., March, April, May, and June. Every time I was told they would send "the guy" to take a look and fix it. Every month when I paid my rent I brought it to their attention. Did they get their money on time every month? Yes because that was my responsibility. Did they take care of their responsibilities? I think not. I received a notification that I was out of compliance with the rules regarding my balcony and if I didn't get into compliance, I was going to be fined. I had a porch swing(provided by them), a small table, one folding chair and a box of Kleenex. After reviewing my lease, I sent an email through the resident portal asking how was I not in compliance. I was not given the consideration of a response. They will take the time to threaten a resident with a fine but won't respond to a question for clarification. I finally decided I was in compliance and I was not given a fine. Obviously I was not out of compliance, and was wrongly threatened. Think twice before signing on the dotted line.
I was very unplease with maintenance, cause I was having a high waster bill for months 4 guys came in none could find or fix the issue. But i finally had a chance to meet the new maintenance supervisor he came in and less then 2 minutes he found the issue in fix it. Told him about all my other issues fix them as well. So with him, I feel change is about to happen cause he is good. Young man I thank you and continue doing a great job.
Between the ignorance of the management staff (kim) and the vehicles being broken into which they wont advertise to other tenants Id stay away from this place.
We lived here about a year and a half. Getting the management to do anything is like pulling teeth. When we finally got to transfer to a nicer apartment, they were so incompetent we called it quits for the last time. The morning we were suppose to move, I went to get keys to the new place and they seemed confused and told me the apartment was not ready until 2, and that someone was suppose to notify us yesterday. Great. I had to take fees to reschedule movers and get the internet installed. It came about 2:30 and I decide to go over and get keys again. Cleaners were still in the apartment and did not finish until 4. After looking over our "renovated apartment" we found that nothing was as it was promised, in fact it was in worse condition than the apartment we were currently living in. So here I was with all our stuff packed and ready to go and they were trying to screw us over buy throwing us in an apartment exactly the same as our old one, charging more for it, and claiming it was "renovated premium". Perks of "renovated premium" included a cracked sink, broken cabinets, paint splattered vinyl, screws in the wall, decrepit shelving, a blotchy beige paint job, and a still poop covered plunger head in the utility closet just to name a few issues. We were promised new counter-tops, fixtures, grey walls, grey wood vinyl, and a renovated space. After asking and checking with them multiple times about what we were getting (we have been mislead and disappointment a few times) we got shafted again. Aside from that they do have a dog park. By dog park I mean a chain link pen with chunks of gravel everywhere and some wood chips. The level of ridiculous and negligent behavior by office staff is unacceptable, and could be easily remedied by someone giving a crap and doing what they say they will do. Trust me, you can afford to live somewhere else and I recommend you do.
Office staff will not work with you if you need things extra after moving in. Had a broken screen door. asked if they could just leave it off, was informed that they break easily so they cant remove them, which is precisely why i do not want it put back up, it's just something they can use to keep my deposit. Also, they refuse the remove a door off hinges which is completely inconvenient and blocks my way to my bathroom and closet, stating that the door will be hard to put back on after i move out... staff turnover seems to be an issue as well as in 2 weeks being here they have already got completely new people than who i talked to when i moved in.

If you move here pray like heck you don't have maintenance issues, if you do...good luck getting things repaired. Takes forever to get anything done, lighting is awful so keep your doors locked when in your car as well as your home.

I came to view the property & get more information. The guy in the office pretty much asked what I was looking for took me to see an apartment and that was it. I left with no concept of what this community has to offer, no prices, & when I asked any questions about the unit I saw he kept saying I don't know. I like the unit I saw but I'm not sure of the office staff is competent enough to run the property.
The Lexington's are very homey to anyone living here! Although it is on the same road as about 6 other apartment complexes, I agree that it is simply the best! We have the best school system in all of Alabama and everyone is oh so friendly! The maintenance team needs a little work though on timing.
I absolutely love this place! They always seem to care about me and make sure my apartment is taken care of! I always have questions and they always are there to answer! Love it !
Conveniently located to both highway and shopping, good size rooms for the money with regular grounds maintenance. Responsive office staff and friendly service personnel. Notice of some grounds upkeep is sometimes very short or lacking. Though overall a safe and enjoyable place to live.
Its always something going on with the apartment, whether its bugs (ants, wasp, waterbugs, etc) they are everywhere. we had the apartment spray but they still come back. I don't appreciate the fact that the valet trash removal isn't optional. So i'm forced to pay $20 each month for them to remove the trash, when it would be perfectly fine for me to take it to the trash myself. I like the way the apartment is set up. but that isn't enough to make me stay
The Lexington's at Madison are very spacious and convenient. They are very close to I-565 and just minutes away from Highway 72. The apartments are large and many have been renovated. The apartment community has great amenities which the entire family will love. The office staff is very friendly and the maintenance team are always sure to get everything fixed in a timely manner. These apartments are great no matter what stage of life you are in!
