An hour north of Austin and just 36 miles south of Waco, Temple is a wonderful place for the whole family in Texas. Just east of Belton Lake, Temple offers lake views and aquatic outdoor recreational opportunities. Property Ratings at Encore Landing Apartments
There is so much to say about First Choice management Co/Encore apartments. We moved in during July, and it has been a nightmare ever since. Someone taking our trash can and multiple maintenance request that was not fixed or did not care to put in the time or effort to resolve the issue. My latest issue is them towing my car without any notice, warning, or resolution of helping me getting it back. I have been up to date on rent, I respect my community/neighbors, and do not make a big fuss when maintenance basically says they do not see anything wrong or do not fix the issues around our apartment. I called 911 panicking thinking someone stole my car, but nope its just the apartment complex towing it for no parking sticker. I have not once heard anything or been given a sticker until the day after my car was towed. I am now awaiting to hear from First choice management Co and I am going to talk to Bell County claims office about the issue. My work badge is in my car, so calling to tell my job about me not coming in because of an issue that was not presented to me until it was too late. Counting down the days to our lease is up.
When I put a request to fix my apartment, the maintenance team is able to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
These apartments are very well maintained and the office management is one of the best I have seen around here. It's quiet and has a nice doggie park! The location is convenient: stores and restaurants nearby and Baylor Scott & White is close. Easy access to the Loop.
Staff has always gone above and beyond to care for residents and facility, they are the shining light here! Staff always smiling and saying hello! Apartment floor plans are beautiful and complex has best amenities around for an amazing price point!
The staff worked with me to get me approve for the apartment that I needed in a short amount of time because of work. There is also a lot of activities to do around the apartment; dog park, resort style pool, gym, etc.
Overall, this is a great apartment complex! Slightly pricey in comparison to apartment rentals in this area, but less expensive than renting a house. It's also much less expensive to live here than nearby cities like Austin! The amenities this apartment offers are good, and they have nice facilities (a gorgeous pool, decent workout room, large dog park, trash pick up and more). The apartments themselves are also nice, and are fairly spacious with nice finish-outs. My only complaints are that I wish we had more storage (both kitchen shelving as well as maybe one more coat or linen closet) and that we have to pay for trash pickup. However, both bedroom closets are walk-in and there is a storage closet on the porch, so there's a decent amount of it. There's also a good mixture of residents, between working professionals (including a good amount from Scott & White), young families and retirees. It's busy, but very rarely noisy. Very happy here, and will likely sign a lease for another year when it comes up for renewal.
