Bad maintenance and smoking in units
Air conditioner was always an issue for the first several years when i moved in. When it was brought up with management, they sent someone to check the unit and refill the coolant but didnt fixed the issue until after about 3-4 years of having the same issue. The past month or so there's been an issue with a resident smoking in the apartment below. The resident is employed by Flying Hills apartments and my apartment has smelled of cigarettes for weeks due to the residents below smoking. I've been told that a verbal warning have been issued each time but that has not solved the problem. Smoking in Flying Hills is against the lease agreement but that doesnt mean that Flying HIlls will enforce this rule even when it is seriously bothering other residents INSIDE their apartment.

Alright living here
I lived in flying hills for several years and the grounds are nice and well maintained. But the apartments are dark and outdated and mainataince is painfully slow. I had several issues over the years living here and it always took several days if not weeks for the repairs. Also they periodically raise the rent so it’s not good for people on fixed incomes. Overall you can definitely find more bang for your buck elsewhere but it’s not terrible there . Just don’t expect to get your monies worth

RENTER BEWARE!
RENTER BEWARE! Rented from Flying Hills for nearly two years. Was a good tenant - no late rent payments, no issues, never any complaints. I was informed by my company that they were transferring me overseas. I informed Flying Hills the day that I signed the overseas contract with my company that I would be vacating in a month and a half due to the sudden move. I also had my HR department write them a letter relaying the same information. I spoke to a woman at the front desk, filled out the appropriate paperwork to terminate my lease, handed in the letter from my HR department and was told that they would take care of it. After that, never heard a single word from anyone at the company. Nearly four months after I had moved overseas, my family member started receiving calls from a credit collection agency - they even called the US office of my company looking for me. Flying Hills had turned me over to a collection agency for a month's rent that I didn't even know I owed! Never received a letter, a phone call, nothing. No communication whatsoever other than the face to face communication I had in March when I went into the office. I should have known things would be an issue when I first rented and had to pay a non-refundable security deposit. Oh that's right, in order to legally rip you off, they have to refer to it as a "decorator's fee". RENTER BEWARE!! Stay far away from Flying Hills.

The Best Service!
I have lived at flying hills for a little over a year. This is the best service I have ever received from an apartment company! The grounds are very well maintained, and the office staff is always friendly and helpful. I would recommend flying hills to anyone!

Very Peaceful
I have been living in Flying Hills for years. They are always quick to fix maintenance problems. If snow falls in the winter, the complex cleans up all the parking lots. The apartments are also beautiful.
