Property Ratings at Gardner Commons
I have been living at Gardener Commons for nearly 7 years. It is a convenient location for many great stores. The living quarters are small for a family of 4 but we manage. A decent place to lay your head at night but of course could benefit from some improvements such as air conditioning.

As a resident of 6 years in this community, I can say I live a happy life. With so many popular locations within minutes away, it certainly does make for a convenient location. However, this community lacks a common place for residents to mingle so we mostly keep to ourselves. The farm located just behind these buildings takes a little getting used to and some days are worse than others. The units are perfect for a couple. Having a family of 4, space becomes a little bit of an issue. Overall, my family and I are fairly satisfied here, we make the best of what we have in these times.

Its cozy and very nice. Its very good for a couple and maybe guest. I wouldn't raise my own kid here but definitely can fit us.
At Gardner commons where I reside I get what I pay for. The apartments are small but cozy. Mine is a two bedroom one bath, open floor plan kitchen and heat/ hot water included. The sound isn't hidden to well for you can hear the people above and beside you clear as day, but luckily my neighbors aren't too loud! I personally am very happy with the apartment. I moved in with my boyfriend June first and the only thing we don't enjoy is the financial struggle we have been having. We have been greatly satisfied with our location which is near Peabody square, the northshore mall, liberty tree mall and down town Salem. The apartment accepts dogs and has no breed or weight restriction which is awesome considering my 65 pound lab mix! The maintanance service is excellent and easy to get a hold of and the landlord is very nice and goes out of her way to ensure our happiness. She even gave us a free air conditioner for any troubles we may have had when moving in. The floors are tile in the kitchen and bathroom and wood for the living space, hall, and bedrooms, the windows are very nice and large which is nice, especially if you are growing Rosemary on the window sill as I do! The apartment building itself requires a key to enter for better guaranteed security. We are also located down the street from the electric company which makes paying the bill easy as pie. I am very pleased with this apartment and would appreciate more than anything this prize for like I stated my pockets are empty and the financial situation is getting very tuff.
