Property Ratings at Greenwood Plaza
A lot of the units have been updated and have good quality countertops and decent cabinets, however some things are still rundown and old. Such as the cottage cheese ceilings, cheap appliances (leaks and missing shelves), water stains on ceiling, windows need to be replaced (doesn't keep in the heat during winter), old lighting fixtures, bathtub tile is gross and tub squeaks to name a few. The exterior needs work too. I do love the layout of the 1 bedroom with the fire place. If you don't like return calls from management and don't care if they don't do what they say they will, HORRIBLE PARKING, and an older building needing some work, move here.
I lived here from 2021-2023. When I first moved in, the rent was affordable, the pool was clean, and the staff was nice. In 2022, mice started pouring in from the walls. Sounds like a hoarder situation a few buildings down was handled and the mice were relocating. I called the management and begged for pest control. They did come and set traps. However, they would put Traps with dead mice on my kitchen table. They would cancel pest control visits. They would tell me to go buy my own traps. This continued for over six months. Can you imagine living with active mice infestation for that long? I would hear mice running around at night, and when I would open my front door coming home, I would see the mice scattering to hide. I reported them as violating the Colorado Housing authority on pest control. So after pest control was not able to contain the situation and I was having to stay at friend's houses to avoid having mice pee on all my things, I asked them to move me to another unit or let me break my lease. They wanted me to pay $1000/extra a month to move to the same floor plan in a different building. When I said I wanted to move and break my lease since I didn't want to live with mice actively destroying my things and peeing in my kitchen, I asked them to waive the lease break fee. I got word from upper management that I didn't have enough cause to do so. So then, they sent my lease termination fee to IQ data - a collections agency - they sent it 5 months after I moved out, and the collection agency is charging me interest from the day I moved out, even though I called them three times to try to get my account information to pay before interest accrued. If you have a problem, they won't care about you as a person living with dozens of mice running around and will send you to collections as the ultimate "we don't care about you, we just care about our money." I am powerless to fight it, and so I just warn anyone looking to rent here - DON'T. They don't care about you. They will not work with you. You are an account to be collected on. I understand that most one-star reviews might sound like just coming from someone who didn't get their way. I was never late with my rent, I called and communicated constantly. I was responsible. But in return, I didn't get treated as a fellow human being who didn't want to live in mice dropping filth.
This place is a dumpster fire! DO NOT RENT here! I moved in September of 2021, and there is not a chance I would re-sign. First, and worst of all, the new property management company is incompetent. It took several weeks to get their resident portal up and running when they took over management. In the process, they lost their resident's data! I had proof of renter's insurance on file and had autopay set up for the monthly rent, and neither of those things were transferred from one portal to the next, as they were supposed to be. Now that the new portal is active, the property manager is trying to charge me penalties for lack of renter's insurance and a late payment even though it's entirely their fault! I sent them a note about this through the portal, never heard back, and then called 4 times before I got a human on the other end of the line. The icing on the cake was being told by that human (leasing agent) that there was nothing they could do about the $86 late fee. DOES YOUR MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY REALLY NEED TO STEAL ITS RESIDENT'S MONEY??? On top of that, there is only 1 garbage dump for the entire complex of more than 500 residents, and it's outside! If you live near the leasing office, you'll have to walk a half-mile round trip to drop your garbage off come rain, snow, hail, wind, or sunshine. Lastly, the units have brown shaggy carpet and popcorn ceilings that were installed nearly a decade ago when the property opened. This doesn't bother me much, but it's worth mentioning that the units will need to be upgraded, which means construction is coming. That'll be fun to listen to if you work from home. There are too many nicer, newer buildings in the area run by people who actually know what they're doing. I suggest you live at one of those, not at Greenwood Plaza.

• Greenwood Plaza is conveniently located near to Farmers Market, RTD, DTC, Pharmacy, Safeway, City park etc • Decent Rent • Friendly apartment leasing staff • Maintenance requests are addressed timely • Leasing staff lives upto word with what's promised during leasing • well maintained Gym & Pool • Unlike other apartments, entry to community is authorized • New age lockers for package pick up, enter the code - collect the package 24 hrs! • No parking hassles at all • Very good neighbors, absolutely no bias/racism • They are not just worried about apartment units, they also gave a new look to all sign boards & displays all around community, like it • Dont forget the greenery! This apartment has decent amount of greenery

Our complex is within a short walk to shopping, entertainment and business. They've managed to build a complex that is inhabited by pleasant, considerate and friendly individuals and families. Even the staff are extremely friendly and pleasant. What a wonderful place to live. My apartment is a two-bedroom that is nicely laid-out and large. It is easily the nicest apartment community I've ever lived in. A !
This place has it all! Rates are competitive. The staff is extremely courteous and responsive. It is located in the heart of the DTC area which boasts not only lots of nearby job opportunities but also tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping. It is also 2 blocks from a light rail station so there is easy access to indulge in all your downtown festivities including easy access to Coors Field, and Invesco Field for all you sports fans. Highway C470 is a 7 minute drive which makes it easy to access all your mountain adventures. Come take a peek and see what all it has to offer!
