I’ve only lived here for a month, however, I’ve loved it. Hardware Apartments actually delivers on the amenities and luxury living. My unit had everything I wanted and was in great condition when I moved in. Location is also nice and convenient. I’m very happy here and would recommend this place to anybody looking to enjoy the best of downtown SLC.

I love living at Hardware Apartments because the amenities are amazing (I call the gym "mini Vasa"), the parking garage is access controlled by garage doors that prevent unauthorized access, and staff are quick to assist residents with their needs. I highly recommend Hardware Apartments for anyone looking for a top notch luxury living experience.

There was potential for many friction points during my relocation from California to Utah because of my work schedule and the fact that I was not able to visit Utah prior to my move. The Hardware leasing team’s professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile neutralized all the friction points dealing with leasing and moving into a new residence. Their communication amongst one another is extremely efficient. I make this claim because every time I called Hardware from California the leasing team member I spoke with was tracking who I was and my situation. The amenities here are better than they appear online which in most cases I have found to be the other way around. Hardware is also in a perfect location for travel in all directions. The maintenance crew and janitors are amazing also! Being prior military, I have lived in about 12 apartment complexes all over the world and Hardware is hands down at the top of my list for best residence. Thank you Hardware staff!

The complex also features secure parking, which adds an extra level of convenience. Calie was extremely knowledgeable about the property and was able to answer all of my questions in detail. She remained patient and understanding when I had to make a few last-minute changes to my move-in date. Throughout the entire leasing process, Calie was always prompt in responding to my calls and emails, making sure to keep me updated every step of the way. When it came time to sign the lease and move into my new apartment, Calie made sure everything went smoothly and even followed up afterward to make sure I had settled in comfortably. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the level of professionalism and exceptional service provided by Calie and with my unit and overall experience at Hardware Village. This is a good location and has some nice aspects, including a nice gym (although with no cell service whatsoever) and very responsive maintenance staff. There are a lot of things that are technically nice but not necessarily well-executed - it smells nice in the lobby but then you realize the whole building is very perfumed, so much so that your clothes will always smell like this scent from walking through the hallway. The pool looks gorgeous but is too hot to swim in warm weather. The grills are nice but run out of gas on the weekends without any obvious procedure to get more. I would not move here for the amenities or you'll be frustrated when the amenities are not what they seem, but if you move here for location near public transportation that part is great.

I was sold on a high end luxury apartment and what I received was nothing of the sort. The architecture is beautiful but the grounds are not maintained like a luxury apartment, the staff was awful through most of my experience and the apartment was destroyed by previous tenants and even though management knew that they gave me a anything but a ready to move in apartment I got dinged on move out. Maintenance was my roommate for the first 3 months until finally gave up on getting everything fixed and just rode out the rest of my lease. Absolutely broken hearted over the whole experience. Greystar is AWFUL to rent from.

Very happy with the building, residents and amenities when they work. Not happy with the new management as I don’t feel there is as much communication and concern for the residents as I felt with the previous management. There seems to be quite a bit of disconnect among the staff as well .

We could not be happier with our choice to live at Hardware Village! Relocating from California, we strongly considered buying a home, but changed our minds when we discovered all that Hardware Village has to offer in terms of location, building and unit aesthetics, incredible amenities and the exceptional leasing and property staff. I moved into hardware a few months ago and the one thing that stands out is their customer service. I’ve had a great experience with all of the staff, and max, one of the front desk people, has even helped move boxes to my apartment. Moving from out of state is stressful, but Karina and the leasing team at Hardware Village have been so helpful! Karina helped me execute my lease and get ready to move-in, all while I was living out of state; I felt confident that everything was taken care of by my move-in date. When I arrived, the leasing team helped me collect my keys and welcome packet quickly; they were super helpful as well! So far, I’m really enjoying the building, the amenities, and location of Hardware Village. I would recommend this property!

The amenities are very nice, however not well maintained. Pool: dirty. Always algae and crap on the bottom. Hot tub. Same. Often gross. Halls: filthy. Never vacuumed, lot of pet "accident" stains. gross. Stairwells often smell like pet urine, often have dog crap tracked up the stairs which remains for weeeeks. I've been stepping over a chunk of dog crap that's been in the stairwell for over a month. The outside side walks are a disgusting mess. Dog crap tracked around, wood chips all over, just a mess. The grass areas are a combination of mud and dog crap. Its disgusting to walk past. every single day. There's an exit door that's had oil leaking on the handle for months. Everytime you use the door you're greeted with a hand covered in oil. The staff performing maintenance and security are fantastic, friendly kind, hard working. Quick to perform repairs. It appears the persons managing the actual working staff are too cheap to hire enough people to perform adequate maintenance as the staff who are onsite do a fantastic job, there's just not enough manpower to keep the place clean. Many of the office staff however, as others have posted, are just terrible. The guys in the office have been great, but there are a few women that are rude and nasty. Overall, not sure who is responsible for managing this property but its a s-show that's gone steadily downhill. Not worth the money. Lots of other new properties just opening that are less money, better maintained with amenities and halls that aren't covered in dog crap & urine stains.

I would like to assure you that we take great pride in providing a clean and well-maintained environment for our residents. However, we'd like to clarify a few points. Our amenities, including the pool and hot tub, are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis to ensure they are up to our high standards. Our staff also perform daily checks to ensure the pool and hot tub are clean and safe for our residents to enjoy. Regarding the cleanliness of our hallways and stairwells, we actually have a strict cleaning schedule in place to ensure that all common areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Our team vacuums the hallways three times a week and the stairwells are mopped and vacuumed once a week. We also spot clean for any messes throughout the week to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained. Regarding the pet stains and dog waste, we have staff on-site to clean and disinfect these areas daily, but it is important to note that some pet owners are not always responsible for their pets' waste. We encourage all residents to be mindful of their pets and to clean up after them promptly as we often remind the community in our email announcements. When these residents do not follow these policies, we address it ASAP and issue fines to deter repeat incidents. We take all issues regarding our amenities and common areas very seriously, and we are committed to making improvements wherever necessary. We have already addressed the issue with the oil leaking on the exit door handle, and we are constantly working to improve our overall maintenance processes. Regarding your comments about some of our office staff, we take these matters very seriously and will investigate further to ensure that all of our staff members are providing the highest level of customer service to our residents. We pride ourselves on our customer service and would like to understand who you feel was \"rude and nasty\" among our office staff. This is the first time we've received such severe feedback about our team and we'd like to address this issue as soon as possible. The buildings, the grounds the architectural detail is superb. Sadly what they deliver is a fast turnaround from the previous tenants with many details overlooked. I looked at hardware for over 6 months picked an apartment that I thought was a 1 bedroom but turned out to be more like a lofted studio. When I upgraded to a larger actual 1 bedroom most the appliances were broken or in poor condition, the apartment was dirty, and it’s taken 2 weeks to get it livable let alone remotely 5 star quality
