The oldest city in Georgia, Savannah is located just across the Savannah River from South Carolina. Canopies of Live Oak trees draped in Spanish moss and restored historic buildings line cobblestone streets throughout Savannah. Built over Indian burial grounds and old cemeteries, Savannah has a haunted reputation consequently leading to frequent ghost tours.
Boasting a pedestrian-friendly layout, Savannah is a highly walkable city. There are plenty of things to do in Savannah, all within walking distance. Should you choose to rent in Savannah, you will have the chance to attend the world’s second largest Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, see the ornate Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, shop the boutiques and national retailers along Broughton Street, marvel at the many art galleries run by Savannah College of Art and Design graduates, unwind at Forsyth Park, enjoy the Savannah Film Festival, and take a 30-minute drive to Tybee Island for easy beach access.

Property Ratings at Heritage Square Apartments
You can hear everything that goes on in the apt that surrounds you, meaning the walls are very then and my neighbors know everything I’m doing, but the management team here is awesome I love them but I do not like that I can hear everything that goes on around me.
My daughter is renting a unit at HS but all transactions are done over the phone, while she is in the Philippines. Spoke to Monica first and made sure she gets a unit that has a washer and dryer hook up. The initial unit available has none. I didn’t know that Monica had heeded my request. Glad I spoke to Karen and she verified that my daughter is good to go and will be moving in soon. Both are so pleasant to speak with and I felt the care and quality of service tops ! Thank you :)
I do NOT recommend for the sake of your PEACE. NOISE: the walls are SUPER THIN. So thin that I? can hear the person above me & behind me conversation(they are using inside voices btw). I? know so much of their business. When I?m in my bedroom, I? hear someone in the kitchen (it sounds like they are in my apartment). It’s the apartment behind me. Do not think you are getting any sleep or peace if someone is living above you. You can hear them walk with EVERY single step and the floor squeaks. It sounds like they are going to come through my ceiling. On my first night in my apartment, I? Heard the person above me SNORING! It woke me out of my sleep. When the planes are flying from the base, the entire building will shake including ur cheap windows. Please pause your tv or phone call until they pass, u will not be able to hear a thing and you will not be able to sleep. After they sold the apartments, my quiet neighbors moved & the ENTIRE staff left. With the new company, the property isn’t as clean as it was before, now that dogs are allowed, there’s poop EVERYWHERE, the noise level from neighbors is high (it was so peaceful before in terms of neighbors behavior).the music is LOUD all day & night, the arguments and hanging outside being loud, the heavy smell of marijuana... it’s almost like they just let anyone lease here now. I am up most of the night and may never take naps because of the people above me and because I hear everything that’s happening outside. I? am so ready to sign my 60 day notice. Apartment style: u can tell that they used cheap contractors to install things and cheap material. What sold me was the vintage look, I? love the brick walls... the one bedroom is spacious (800 sq ft). Closet space is a headache. It’s only ONE closet which is shared with ur hot water heater.*your washer & dryer will go in that closet as well. Amenities: my favorite is the 24 hr sauna (not sure if it works... I haven’t had the time to try it but the idea of it is my favorite) Management: we no longer have events for the neighbors(bingo night, chances to win prizes, food truck , & etc brought to us by the leasing office). they no longer send notifications via email, it’s almost like (who are they?), there wasn’t an introduction. Tomeka (or whatever her name is) really isn’t a pleasure to do business with. She rush the customer and sounds like we are a bother. I totally miss old management & old neighbors. A bunch of the people moved b/c of the management changes.
Property Manager at Heritage Square Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review. If you would please notify our office of concerns we will be happy to address your concerns. From your statement you have experienced noises since you moved in with the prior owners and assume you were shown your apartment prior to move in and shown the floor plan in which you wanted to lease. We have sent out notifications of new ownership and your management teams names as well as our office being opened during business hours for personal introduction to any of our residents. We are currently updating our emails of residents as some of this information was not readily transferable, however the phone numbers at our property remain the same, in addition we also offer KEY which is a text program and the numbers are listed on this website for your convenience. We have had resident functions which residents are notified via monthly newsletters that are placed personally on residents doors. I assure you the sauna works and maintenance of the facilities are kept clean. We clean the grounds daily and have installed Fido stations through out the property for the dogs that were previously approved prior to new ownership. We are now allowing small dogs as many people find the comfort of a pet desirable. While we understand that you have also gone through changes with ownership of your rented apartment and neighbors do come and go in this business. I'm sure you do miss them. We approve everyone on the same criteria as you were approved. Please stop by our office, call us 912-925-0374, text us 912-254-0926 or feel free to email at hs@jarsllc.com. We want to help make your living experience pleasurable. Sincerely, Heritage Square Property Management
Every month they try to have something for the renters to do. The pool is a great place to hang out. If anything goes wrong with your Apartment they get on it as fast as possible.
I really don't think if you have a family or want peace and quiet that these would be the apartment for you. Neighbors are loud and noisy, parking is a hassel, and pray you don't get a upstairs apartment because they love to complain. At least, my neighbors did. Said we were walking to loud and it sounded like we were running and rolling a bowling ball all day. I have a family of two which is my wife, daughter, and including myself would make three. We are hardly home and we come were just either doing homework or getting ready for the next day. I would just like when you lease an apartment that they would show a video and have examples on a true noisy neighbor. I really think that would be helpful and insightful as well.
I have been living here for 4 years and only had minor maintenance work to be done. The complex is very quiet and some what safe. We do have petty crime like car breakins and vandalism, but overall I like living here
I'm moving here. Love the apartment and amenities. Ashley in the office is very nice and professional. Rent not expensive.
