Property Ratings at Highview Terrace
Hi if you would like to be told that you are a lier about everything you say and being lied too than move here the property manager is famous fir his lies and has the office staff doing the same as well many things has happen here cover up after cover up from taken people out of the system and not being able to follow through with eviction for 3moths with holding information from other companies when tenants want to end there lease. Trying to force tenants to stay. Lies after lies. Marijuana is taken over the buildings here laundry rooms and playgrounds as well at time homeless people sleeping in the laundry room as well
I'm here more than 10 years, and I intend to stay longer here. This is the best complex ever, the management is the best you can ever ask for, 24 hours matinence any time you call they are here within 5 mins. They also take care of yourself needs, and their apartments are spacious and safe. I highly recommend this complex if you are looking for a place to stay. Also the customer service is excellent.
I have lived here for almost 10 years. I have had my apartment painted and the carpet cleaned without any problems from management. The MANAGEMENT is very polite, professional and kind. I have been thru some rough times and MANAGEMENT treated me like their own family. We have "Tenant Appreciation Gatherings" and this is just the little things that they do for their residents. We are located within the best of the best. The Metro, Giant, Safeway, Whole Foods, the theater, Outback, Olive Garden, and the Home Depot. So much more is within the reach of the wooded serene apartment home. My major complaint is that some tenants don't APPRECIATE the MANAGEMENT team. Other than that I have no problems with my apartment home nor the MANAGEMENT. In life, I have found that you must be patient and kind to all people.
FLEAS FLEAS FLEAS!!!!! I’ve been having a flea infestation happening about almost a month now . Started noticing bites around my ankles , my sons and also my husbands. (WE have NO PETS). Me and my husband decided to buy pesticide powder for the carpets, flea sprays , and even decided to fog the place on our own and the fleas kept coming back (this is two weeks of my personal attempt to get rid of the fleas). I then decided to contact the leasing office so they can remedy the situation. They have Fogged the apartment as well as exterminated the place and the Fleas are STILL here. I put in a complaint and they stated the first exterminator did not detect any fleas (making it seem as if I were lying) and that they would have the exterminator supervisor come out to “confirm” if it was fleas and not fruit flys (fruit flys are only out in the summer) and it’s october. We have pictures of ours bites, videos of the fleas crawling on us , and a picture of the few fleas I was able to kill myself( which I have shown them) . I just moved here this year in JUNE 2018 and it’s now OCTOBER 2018. I attempted to cancel my lease and thought there was an option to pay two times the rent. It’s gotten so bad I was willing to pay almost the 3,000 to get out of my lease but apparently they DO NOT do that and that we would be held accountable if we are to leave. I cannot sleep at night !!!!! I’m pregnant and have a 5 year old and even though they are trying to remedy the situation by bringing another exterminator this issue is nowhere near fixed. Me and my family are suffering. Do not move here unless you want to be in my shoes.
I would never have lived here if I knew what I do now. After just 4 months everything went downhill. Our apartment was a home for mice, crickets, lizards, snakes, spiders and bees. We had to take the complex to court for rent escrow since they couldn't fix the problem. They will surely care if you don't give them all their rent when problems arise but don't care if you and your children live with rodents. They say they tow cars that aren't authorized which is a lie. So don't work late or go out and expect a parking space. There is no security that patrols as they said either. And the staff in the office is rude and will lie about things. So if you do take a chance and move into this slum make sure you get everything in writing and keep the county 311 on call. I'm sure you will need to file a complaint on this substandard complex.
The apartment was alright until some of the reception people answer you calls, they are RUDE. People can smoke weed at any time OUTSIDE and they don't do anything to stop it, I had it to call and sadly they didn't do anything. I'm glad I move out of there. I thought it was safe area but is not. I'm just being honest. Other than that, everything was cool. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I wasn't expecting much from this complex but when I finally got the tour it ended up being very nice apartments. The rooms and closets are spacious. The bathrooms are updated and nice too. The community is also nice with metro access right in the community and plenty of parking. The staff is great and always friendly, and quick with maintenance request.
The area isn't bad. I think the rent could be a little less. There is a "rental" room that's bland and unwelcoming. I have seen other communities who have invested in building a stand alone building for renting for a party or event but this community has none. If there was a gym with that building would give this community a boost. The apartments are a good size though. It is near a wooded area so you may occasionally see wildlife at night. Overall it is quite livable One of the bigger issues I have is with other residents smoking right outside the main entrances even though there are signs that clearly states no loitering or smoking. There is no common courtesy from those who smoke. The security that drives around at night also doesn't enforce the no loitering and no smoking signs that they should.
When I first came to America, I had already zeroed in on this apartment for my stay. However, due to a few differences, they surprisingly were a little adamant to accept my requirements and further went on to say I could forfeit my lease to take apartment elsewhere. The moment I agreed to that, they became soft and accepted my requirements. From there on, till today its been a wonderful journey with these guys. Their maintenance is simply amazing. Very helpful staff.....very cordial.....and quick response.....serene location, with deers running around makes your day peaceful...and soothing... Lovely place to stay....??
