I lived here for 3 years and just moved out. The first 2 years weren't bad. All my maintenance requests were emergencies so they were very prompt to come out and fix an issue. This last year though has been just awful. We had a younger couple move in the apartment below us and that began one long seemingly never ending domestic disturbance. The walls in these apartments are not thin and I am a heavy sleeper and I was constantly being woken up at 3 and 4 am by this couple screaming at the top of their lungs and what could only be described as someone throwing furniture around their apartment. I had complained to the office several times and I guess their scripted response is that "somebody will take care of it." After the 2nd or 3rd time I complained I was told to just call the police. I actually had called the police several times fearing for somebody's safety beneath me. The neighbors all called the police several times as well. Each time they were out there in maybe 3-4 hours and accomplished nothing because the problem persisted. When I put in my move out notice the people in the office asked why I was leaving because I was "one of the good ones" (always pay my bill on time and no complaints against me). When I told them it was in no small part to the ongoing situation that they allowed to go on for almost a year and how it affected my sleep, my job and my life the guy had the gall to say "Oh. If we had known we could have moved you to another unit." First of all, where was this option when I was filing my complaints and secondly, why do I need to completely move all my furniture and belongings to a new unit because they have a terrible resident? Even when those neighbors weren't having knock down drag out brawls beneath my feat they would have loud parties late into the night through the week and be yelling from their balcony to friends in the parking lot. Their friends would stumble drunk up and down the stairs loudly sounding like someone dropped furniture down the stairs and they would often throw up around the stairwell. That vomit would be there for weeks. I cannot be happier to be out of this place and away from this situation that they allow to continue to this day.
I love this apartment complex! I am glad I found this place! The area is quiet and has gate access. Also, the amenities are great!
I've been a resident at Hunter's Hill for three months, and I absolutely love it. The grounfs are always maintained well. The property is the cleanest I've seen, and I've lived all over North Dallas. My neighbors are very friendly and respectful of each other. I even have my own, assigned covered parking space and have never had a problem with parking my car. My one bedroom is very spacious and updated. I have new black Whirlpool refrigerator and stove. Amanda, the property manager, is one of the sweetest, kindest and most approachable managers I've met.
I have lived here for close to 1 year and I have had no issues! Everyone at the office is very friendly and are willing to assist if I have a question. The website to pay rent, submit work orders etc. is very easy to access and when I submit an order it is usually fixed the same day. The property is well kept, quiet and resident friendly. I have and will continue to recommend these apartments!
Convenient to the Toll Way and the GW. 30 minutes from downtown and the airport. This apartment couldn't be in a better location. The landscaping and amenities are wonderful. Pools, workout facility and basketball court; you really couldn't ask for more. Definitely the best bang for your buck.
