Property Ratings at Huntington Creek Apartments
I have lived in Huntington Creek since September, they have had to be out for our air and heat 6 times. This last time the heat went out on Thursday March 8th. They came out and told me that they had to order a part but it would be in on Friday. Friday came and no new part so I was brought one space heater (very old) That was supposed to heat my two bedroom apartment all weekend that it was pouring rain and extrmley cold. On top of this I have the flu. Monday comes and the maintaince comes out and puts in the new part, heater works for min and it blows a circuit. now have to order a new part that won't be in untill tuesday. My husband called and explained the situation and that I am sick, that my apartment had not got above 68 degrees in the evening time. To please bring me an additional heater. They agreed that they would have someone out. Nobody came so I contacted the apartments, I was informed that I already had a heater and was not going to get another one, that its not that cold, and that I am not more important that the other 500 people in the complex. Except there is not 500 people without heat. At this point I became very upset and crying and told them that I was going to go stay in their model I was not going to spend another night freezing when I have the Flu, They told me to call after hour maintaince, I did, When I first spoke to the after hour employee he told me that he would be out in about 45 min, then called me back 5 min later to tell me that his supervisor told him not to bring me another heater and if he did that he would have to bring me one of his personal heaters and he would not get paid for it. I would like to say this is the first issue we have had with these apartments but it has not. I have had my apartment flood twice, where they did not suck the water out of my floor and left my things sitting in three inches of water for over 24 hours. They do not respond back in a timely matter, they do not convey to their residents if and when anything in their apartment is going to be fixed, and are very rude if you dare call back more than once about it. The Maintaince manager said, he has all the times I called documented! So great you should be able to get that from them to show how much I have had to call and how often to get anything done. I have tried to make it work with these people but this leaving me to feeze while I have the flu because they have faulty equipment was my last straw. I
When we moved in there were stabb marks and weird pastel marks on the wall in a bedroom. We have lived here a year and our garbage desposal hasn't worked for a solid week since we moved in. Maintenance has been here several times to "fix" it but it is still unusable.
