Property Ratings at Indigo Winter Park
Outstanding office personnel. Especially Yaritza!! Maintenance team always takes care of work orders within 24 hrs. The grounds are kept immaculately clean. I'm so glad I found this place.
To many to list Old units falling apart That's why rent seems cheap folks moving out
Been living here for over a year now and didn't have any major issues besides the occasional hot water outage during my first year. Mahogany at the office and maintenance teams are nice. But just as i renewed my lease, my apartment started falling apart I have had issues with a ceiling leak for the past 2 months maintenance has been called over 6 times yet nothing has actually been done to fix the leak. Steps have been taken to try and patch the issue up, honestly thats all that maintenance really does they don't actually fix anything just patch it up until the issue returns. During one of these attempts my entire kitchen ceiling was torn down and replaced, a process which left my personal belongings scattered and covered in paint and plaster. Yet the leak remains. The leak is now causing electrical issues and mold is starting to grow yet I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved. Countless emails with photo proof have been sent to the office manager, Luis, yet I am still waiting for the issue to be resolved. Overall apartments are super small and outdated and not worth a fraction of what they charge for rent. nice that utilities are included in rent but with the state the apartments are in it's not worth it read thoroughly through reviews before moving here! wish I never renewed.
Get you in on good rent then raise up 200 on next renewal rates watch out There a lot empty You wonder y Half reviews are not accurate
Rodents, horrible AC and no control over when management switches between heat/AC, constant hot water outages, maintenance sub-par repairs on holes made in walls to save neighbors from plumbing falling apart and flooding apartments, too many coats of paint with low quality painting jobs, staff doesn't move to fix issues well within grasp.
I’ve been living here since August 2018 and I have been hit with continuous problems ever since. I’m not even the type of person to leave reviews but this place has pushed me to. I had to put in a work order the day I got here because the kitchen light had fallen off the ceiling during the apartment tour! Prices are way higher than what the quality of the apartment has to offer. I’m in a furnished apartment, and the furniture, especially the cabinets, are worn down and most of the drawers are broken. The headboard for the bed doesn’t even fit with the side of my bed, it looks like it was taken from some other kit and thrown in this apartment. If you have a maintenance issue, you have NO idea when someone will come. It might be today, tomorrow or never. If you don’t answer within a minute from their obnoxious knocks that exact moment they just leave. There are usually roaches roaming everywhere, I have to catch at least one every month or so since I’ve moved in, and sometimes even lizards are running around in here, which I had to catch and release a few times. They tried marketing how soundproof this place is but it is anything but. I can hear some of my neighbors movements as if they were happening in my own apartment. The amenities the apartment also has to offer are MISERABLE!!!!!! I have watched the volleyball court turn overgrown with weeds and the entire net collapse, the pools are almost never occupied and they look run-down. The tennis courts are almost never used for tennis, and they equally are sad to look at. The bolt in the mailbox is so poorly put in place I myself have had to fix it. My toilet has also randomly overflowed on MULTIPLE occasions and plumbing has always been an issue here, which I usually have to take upon myself to soak up with every towel in here. Hot water also often cuts out. My breaking point was when my apartment began to flood from underneath the cabinets in my bathroom. A maintenance worker came in and began senselessly drilling a hole in the wall under my sink to “look for the water”? By the time he was done water (dark yellow-colored water at that) started pouring in from the ceiling. My entire day was taken up soaking up water and having these people come in and out, finally leaving, fixing the issue in the apartment that affected mine, and leaving a pile of debris for me to clean up on my own. I cannot wait to leave!!! CONSIDER ANOTHER PLACE BEFORE THIS ONE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
Indigo is a great first apartment, especially if you are a Full Sail University student. The complex is right across from the campus, making it a quick walk or ride. The one bedroom is plenty of space for one person, but I wouldn't recommend living here with two people because it might become a little cramped. The kitchen is small, but still does the trick. It comes with a washer/dryer and a screened in porch. There are 3 pools in the complex, two tennis courts, and a beach volleyball court, so there is always plenty to do. The maintenance team is no joke here, you just submit a ticket via the mobile app, and the problem is fixed within a day. I've lived here for a year and have never really had a problem that they couldn't fix!
I really like Indigo apartments. It is very clean and there is maintenance on site almost everyday. Also, they have pest control come to every apartment once every quarter and there is security here almost every night. The staff are very kind and ready to help if there is a problem.
This, like any other apartment complex, is not without its problems. Some of the electrical and AC units could use an upgrade but as I said it's not something uncommon for older buildings and overall not a terrible thing to deal with since the management is always on top of ongoing issues and keeping the tenants as happy as possible, within their means. Sometimes, things are up to third party repair companies and we all know how efficient some of them can be. However, overall it does offer a huge bang for your buck! The convenience of having one monthly payment including rent, water, light, gas, pest control, etc...is GREAT! The common areas are really well maintained and there are 3 great pools plus a music studio and two full size tennis courts, so there's never a shortage of things to do if your family comes to see you while you're at school. Some people take advantage of renting furniture through CORT which makes moving from far way that much simpler. My neighbors, most are Full Sail students but there are some families with children, are very respectful of each other and there's rarely noise past a certain time at night. For my husband and I it is definitely a good amount of space, not too big, not too small, just right for the price since it's just the two of us! Plus it's close to lots of shops, restaurants and grocery stores and most importantly it is directly across the street from Full Sail and next to an elementary school which they've told me is really good. Overall, a good choice for students or couples who're looking to economize while at school!
