Property Ratings at Lafayette House
Building is somewhat old. Has not been renovated since it was built. Windows are original windows that are over 50 years old. The AC/Heater units are over 50 years old and are nearly broken down and hardly blow any air so your apartment is sweltering hot in the summer. Complained many times to have this fixed and building management ignores and maintenance cant do anything without management approval. The entire building needs a decent investment to renovate it to bring it up to modern standards but since management can only increase rent of whats allowed by the city there is very little incentive to do this. Would look at other areas in Ewing.
Very affordable units. Decent A/C provided (might need extra unit depending on how room is). Close to Calhoun Bridge that leads to PA's large shopping centers. Complex is also undergoing some renovations. Very safe, controlled access to building, and 2 elevators. Very quite place as well. Overall cant really beat the value.
High ceilings, spacious with a great view, secured parking and security on premises 24 hours 7 days a week I really love living here.
