Property Ratings at Lake Shore Towers
The management at Lakeshore management are not friendly. The husband is very rude and talk down to the seniors. The building is very dusty and is infested with ants. The hallways are dingy and the carpet does not get cleaned.
The management is great. My apartment overlooks the lake, beautiful I like I can take the bus anywhere I need to go its quiet because most of the residents are senior citizens I have no issues I pay very low rent with help from HUD and for the location, the view and electric included I could not ask for more at my age
Lake Shore Towers is historical building with a past that included movie stars, gangsters, singers and sports figures from the 1930's for many years. To walk inside it reminds you and you can picture what it was like in its prime. In the summer you can look through the front door to the back yard, with a view of the chandelier in the lobby to the fountain in the back right onto Lake Erie, it is a beautiful site. The staff is kind; the building is older so many of the apartments show the history along with many of the repairs that are always on going. I can catch the bus right out front, and get down town in a matter of minutes. Grocery stores are within walking distance and Lakewood is a few blocks away. The residents are senior citizens so the building is quiet for the most part, so that is a bonus. I just have to say that with all of the negative about the building in the news lately, most of it is lies, fabricated by those 1 or 2 people that are unhappy in life and always have to have drama. I for 1 enjoy my apartment, I am older and it puts a roof over my head, in a wonderful location, it included my utilities so I never have to worry about going without heat or water. So is it perfect no, but it is the place I call home
As I sit, listening to the fountain splash on the terrace, I reflect on the fact that Lake Erie is my back yard. I get a never-ending panorama of the seasons; frozen and glinting with ice in Winter, brisk wind blowing through the bare branches in Spring, Summer with the white sails of the regatta. I can't wait to see what Fall brings! It is my "pied a terre"...and I couldn't be happier!
