Property Ratings at The Ellison
The guy in the apartment above me has played the drums very loudly and aggressively every single night from the day I moved in (July 3, 2024) and tonight (Sept. 3, 2024 at 12:02 AM). I have field complaints, but to absolutely no avail. Nothing has been done to help me. The guy just rocks out every night, often until after 1 AM. I have to sleep out of the couch some nights. This place has more than disappointed me.

It is unfortunate to hear about this situation and we would like to help resolve it. Please report this to our resident support team at: peakcares@peakliving.com
The Ellison is a wonderful place to live. Management and maintenance are easy to work with and very responsive. The apartment building is beautiful. The clubhouse has an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room and activity room. We often invite our grandchildren over to swim. We're very happy that our two kitties are welcome here. We don't hear much noise from neighboring apartments. There is a lot of noise from Air Force jets flying overhead, but it quickly becomes easy to ignore. We're very happy with our decision to move here.

Hello, thanks for the positive feedback! We're always happy to hear good things from our residents. We are always more than happy to assist you if anything else comes up. Take care!
When I moved in over a year ago, this was advertised as being for active people over age 55. Since then, they have rented a number of apartments to those younger. And it is not working out well. We now have tenants smoking weed outside. Also the yards are not being kept up. The sheer number of dogs peeing on the grass has killed whole sections. The management needs to restrict the dog walkers to the circular path next door. But my major complaint is the constantly rising rates. Rent increases are too large for place designed for senior citizens. And the utility rates are increasing faster than the rent. This month's bill for water and sewer was over 20% higher than the one I received in July. Tenants are required to purchase a media package, which costs almost $100 a month. For that we get the worst set of television channels I have ever seen, internet not required by many and a landline, also not required by many. Management is not responsive to complaints.
