Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Marble Hall Gardens
I am a student living here from Morgan State University. My time here so far has been the worst time of my life. I am a senior and have lived in different housing every year. This place has made me have so many breakdowns from how dirty it is, to the maintenance staff just not doing their job. There are roaches running rampant outside at night. There are dead bugs in the hallways, and the smells from this building is just horrible. I have had so many problems here it is ridiculous. I wish I could vote this a 0. Please do not come here students, I am thinking of transferring to another school or just leaving because of this place. I am not happy living here, and the school should be ashamed for letting students live like this.
Mold infested apartment unit . Unprofessional staff especially maintenance workers .Lost a lot of property because of the mold .They blame the tenants for the mold than take responsibility for not updating and keeping their apartment dry. Many times I've slipped in the past because the floors were so moist .The walls were always peeling along with the pipes bursting causing a ceiling to fall into my unit.I regret ever staying that apartment in That unit.Wicked people is the best way to describe these people in that leasing office.
I have lived on this property for over 5 years and I have seen a difference from the previous management to the new management company. Red Stone Properties and it's staff are great. They care for their tenant and for the property. The Property Manager helped by starting a payment that helped me to be current with my rent. The maintenance staff is very responsive to my needs. Marble Hall Gardens is a great place but has it struggles like any other apartment complex you live in.
Marble Hall is certainly a place where you get what you pay for !! With that being said I've been here for 3mos, the first week of my staying I was in a top floor 2bd apt. Being on the top floor with drop down ceilings in the bathroom, something was bound to get in from the roof in which it did.... a RACCOON !!!! I had my two children in the tub and we start hearing something scrapping the tile obviously trying to get in(it was snowing that night) I nearly had a heart attack trying to stay calm for the children I contact emergency matenience I got no answer I called the next morning and I was told there was a raccoon problem on the roof and someone was coming to set traps Monday but it was friday(awful) later that week I was moved into a different unit with tons of problems smaller than a raccoon but certainly a headache and I am counting the days to leave !!!!!!
Great for a first apartment! Pretty open living space bedroom is a pretty decent size. Kitchen is very small, we had to take the handles off of one of the cabinets in order to get the oven open. You definitely get what you pay for. If you live on the bottom floor like me chances are you'll have the huge trash cans outside of your windows were everyone in the nearby buildings dumb their trash, which also attract a lot of bugs. There are cock roaches and water bugs outside and in the hallways at night. I've had a few make their way into my apartment but haven't seen anymore since I patched an opening under the wall in the kitchen. The leasing staff is pretty professional and timely with your request, and the apartments are close to a save a lot and shopping center and a few main bus lines. Haven't had any problems with the neighborhood a lot of people are Morgan students. All in all I would say if your looking for an affordable place for about a year or two I would recommend it. But for long term I wouldn't.
The one bedroom apartments are Very spacious. The kitchen space is ridiculously huge! In the summer there are a few beetles that enter your apartment but a few bug traps can fix that. The neighbors are very friendly and there are a good number of children if you have kids of your own. Only a block away from 7/11 and Northwood plaza. Save alot is walking distance and there are 2-3 high schools in the area. Less than a mile away from Morgan state university it is ideal for college students such as myself. Right on the bus lines 3, 36, & 33 you can pretty much get anywhere. I recommend this apartment to alot of people. However there is no central air conditioning and there is an increased rodent problem lately. I personally haven't seen any but rumors say it has increased.
