Property Ratings at Marlow Apartments
So unhappy this place and new owner has gone to crap. Rats. No hot water for 7 days. Leaking water. Gym ha ha the equipment is 15 years old put in a hot room by pool. Only open 8am -6pm no weekends. Staff is unhelpful. Homeless camping next to cars. And steeling kids bikes. It's just horrible.
I have lived here for several years. The complex has had it's ups and downs and has had a few changes in corporate, property management and maintenance personnel during that time which is very common these days. The property has been well maintained during that time in my opinion. The current Property Manager maintenance personnel are very congenial and professional. They takes pride in the property and concern for and of the tenants. All in all my experience has been a good one living here. I would recommend Marlow Apartments to anyone.
In our 8 years of apartment living experiences we have never been so satisfied. This place is super quiet and always clean. Our neighbors are kind people and we are happy to call this home. We do not have any complaints in our 2 year living here. The trash pick up service is a company called Valley Waste and they come EVERY NIGHT Sunday-Sunday and I cant say how much my wife loves that. They have professional cleaners cleaning the laundry rooms twice per week. Landscapers are here every Friday to spiff up the place. All the vendors that come out to service for any reason have been at no charge. The roofs and the parking lots are newly redone. Hands down this place is our home.
We love living here at Marlow Apartments! The property, units and laundry rooms are very well kept, the pool and spa area is absolutely beautiful and also kept very nice. We have lived here for many years and love all of our neighbors and our On-Site Property Manager and Maintenance!! They are attentive and respond to every request with sincere concern. The trash service is convenient and efficient, they pick up from our front porch rain or shine 5 nights a week and management provides an area to drop off bags if you need to dispose on the two nights there is no service; Tues and Thurs. We could NOT ask for a sweeter place or location, rite next to Walgreen's and some of the best restaurants in town!! :)
I like the creek in front of my stairs and all the stores around the area I can walk to them with my dogs.
Bad management/service, accumulating trash, cockroaches and fraudulent billing… We were informed that our trash service was going to be converted from the traditional dumpsters to a company called Valet Waste. They collect trash that tenants leave on their front porch 5 times a week during a two hour window. We had at least 4 dumpsters and 4 recycle bins on site previously, now there is one dumpster and one compactor; there are no more recycle bins. Unsightly waste is common and the smells are sometimes noxious. Pickups are often missed and days they don't collect causes waste to accumulate in homes and on front porches. The property manager posted a message on our door saying that this new “service” is now mandatory and any tenant caught using the dumpsters will receive a 3 day eviction notice. We would like to have kept our service as normal but they refused to let us opt out and use the dumpsters. Our bill says that we are being charged for Santa Rosa Recycling & collections and nowhere mentions valet Waste. If our monthly apartment bill shows that we are being charged for service “A” but we are really being provided with service “B”, a lesser inconvenient service, then isn’t that fraud on behalf of Marlow Apartments and Meridian Management Group? The most recent notice from the property manager is a tangent about how cockroaches and pests are now beginning to infest Marlow Apartments. (obviously from the recent accumulation of waste and trash inside homes instead of in dumpsters.)She threatened “You can be held responsible for the cost of the additional treatments because you did not tell the office [right] away!!!” The new trash service allows Meridian Management Group to cut their cost of trash service and increase their bottom line by forcing tenants to hoard waste inside and out of their homes, thereby decreasing the amount of dumpsters they need to rent and eliminating extra pickups that they are charged for; this is not reflected on our bill. Meridian Management Group and Marlow Apartments use threatening and harassing techniques such as threats to evict to force tenants into more profitable practices for them at an inconvenience to the people they are supposed to serve. If you have any choice at all I would highly recommend that you avoid moving into Marlow Apartments, Thank you for reading.
This is a nice apartment close to shopping and easy freeway access. There is a pool and valet garbage service right at the door. There are beautifull redwood trees and landscaped grounds and onsite laundry. There are elementary, middle and high schools within walking distance along with public parks and public transportation easily available.
