On my move in day, I was only an hour away from my move in time when they called stating my apartment was ready. I was already packed up and on my way to the apartment complex when I got the call. I had no choice but to take the other option, which was a complete downgrade. Management is never available and I’ve had a hard time getting ahold of maintenance. My AC, water heater, and dishwasher were broken and it took 5 days for them to finally come and fix them. This was after submitting 2 online requests and 4 phone calls to the office. Roaches are a problem here. I keep my place clean but it doesn’t seem to help. I’ve had pest control come to my apartment every week and it does nothing. I’m moving out once my lease is up. This place appears nice, but management makes it difficult.

You certainly do not get what you pay for. I can get a brand new apartment for what I’m paying, the counters, appliances, and cabinets are very out dated. If you’re even trying to get in touch with the office, it is IMPOSSIBLE!! The apartments are not well taken care of, when I’ve called to fix things they have done a terrible job on top of the fact that the paint job and other things were terrible the moment I moved in. Find a new place that doesn’t charge you this much.

Parking is non existent!!! Roaches everywhere!!! It took me 4 days to move in because there was never any place to park and unload the truck. If you are not home by 3pm you will have nowhere to park. If I'm paying rent then I should have a parking space. They are more concerned about the pool than the actual apartments. They are not luxury at all. The toilet is like a training potty! The carpet is old and paint all over it! The cheap peel and stick vinyl floors are all scratched up. I reported this and they did nothing!

These apartments got a new management, Grey Star, and they are HORRIBLE!!!! Worst management team I have ever dealt with. I have lived in these apartments for over a year and they changed management in the middle of my lease. Grey Star management at Mason Park is incredibly rude, very unorganized, and don't seem to have an understanding of any computer system they use. I STRONGLY RECOMMED YOU DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!

I am new to Mason Park but am very encouraged by the new management and ownership. The maintenance staff has been very responsive to a couple minor issues that I had. The office staff so far has been very polite and professional. I love the location and so far I am very encouraged.

I give this a one star. I moved here 10 months ago and everything seemed nice an clean. Until one day my roof in my living room started to leak. I took pictures and showed it to the manager within minutes. I would call every week to the front office to let them know I needed it fixed and they kept saying it would be done the next day. They did not come and fix the leak until 3 weeks later ! . I was very outraged. Office staff is very rude and unprofessional. On another occasion my garage had gotten broken into and I called the front office to let them know what had happened and that I needed my garage fixed. They never came to fix it , I had to get my friend to fix it. I can't wait till my lease is over with and move out of these so called "luxury" apartments. There is nothing luxurious about this place and its overpriced! Stay away from this place!

All the employees do there is gossip about the residents. They don't help you with your issues and take forever to help out when as for maitnence.. Overall I would not consider living here. Their prices are over the roof and the apartment is not luxury at all.
The Manager and the employees are unprofessional. Every time you have an Issue. The manager gets upset. It seems that the manager cant handle the Problems and Issues. He tries to ovoid the issue. We need a new staff. This place is getting worst.
I have been living and calling Mason Park my home for 2 years now and I am very satisfied. I absolutely love the area and little community around me. The grounds are taken care of and it always looks neat and nice on the exterior. You can tell management and maintenance takes pride in their apartments and are always striving for the best. Whenever I have a work order placed, it is taken care of and looked after with 110% within 1-2 days. Any problems, major or minor, is taken seriously and anything that can be done will be done to aide or fix it. I enjoy where I live, the exterior and pool is nice, the interior is nice. Ever since the extra parking lot was constructed and built, limited parking does not seem to be a problem with the availability for visitors to park in the back lot. Yes, this is an older complex, but I find things being updated and worked on every day. I'm extremely happy here and will gladly stay here and call this home.
I've been living at Mason Park for two years now. I absolutely love it! Great access to i-10 but still close enough to enjoy the safety of a reserved Katy community.
I absolutely love where I live. The front office staff is absolutely amazing and very caring. When I moved in they helped with movers and found the perfect move in date that worked perfectly for me. Chris up at the front office is always on top of his job and is always helpful when i call about little things like doors creaking and maintance is right over to fix it up. The pool is amazing I just really love where I live. Thanks mason park!!
The community is beautiful, the grounds are kept neat and clean. The pool sparkles, the dog park is nice and clean. It also helps when the residences are in compliance to keep our community beautiful, paying our rent on time and showing respect to all residence and the property. The office personnel is professional, courteous and they kept the residence informed about community events. You can tell the property management cares about the apartments, because they do checks to make sure that everything is good and in working order. Anyone thinking about moving to Mason Park should do so. You will not regret it.
This is an aging (10 plus years) complex. Things are bound to go wrong. Old appliances just don't work as well as new ones. Settling occurs! Tub in my unit is not level, but it works! Kids will be kids! I remember when I liked to party too! Living next to the Katy freeway (two blocks away) will obviously cause noise. That's the price of convenience! Times are still tough! people share apartments (even if not on the lease) because they may need help. So there is going to be a shortage of parking spaces. Deal with it!
I'm glad that i chose this place to live in. I am 100% satisfied with my stay so far...
For the past 4 years my family has lived at Mason Park. It is very well located for shopping, movies, roadways, hospitals, etc. the staff is led by Shelly. They are very professional and Shelly knows how to run a community. The maintenance guys are always here when you need them. There is security on property and many amenities. It is easy to call Mason Park home.
