Property Ratings at Meridian Apartments
I'm currently a resident. I love my one bedroom apartment. The ladies in the leasing office are Awesome. They make you feel at home. The property is wonderful and very well kept. The other residents are nice and Quiet. Lol. I'm glad I live there
I am so disgusted with how the office manager Mary addresses tenants. I have been here for years and she still continues to be condescending, rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful in her communication with those who reside here. I am a tenant who pays on time and minds her own business. However, when I have a legitimate concern it’s like pulling teeth to get Mary to respond humanely. For example, someone stole my clothing from the dryer on the property—she told me I shouldn’t have left my clothing in the dryer so long . Nothing was done to ease my concern about the loss of my items. No camera footage was reviewed to find the thief. Instead notices were placed up following my complaint stating that the Meridian is not responsible for stolen laundry. Now today I had to reach out again. This time it was because someone damaged my sunroof. Mary, having low interpersonal skills, responded that this could happen anywhere. Her response was not out of concern for my damaged property. Her response was NOT “we will do everything we can to help!”She didn’t do that. She instead felt a need to argue with me and say it’s not her fault that someone broke my sunroof. She is despicable and cold hearted. I feel that she is the reason that so many people leave. Don’t move here if you want to be respected and treated like someone of value by those whom you pay rent to.

We look forward to hearing from you!
I've lived in those apartments for 3 years and moved out because I found out they had RATS. The Landlord was not helpful when things needed to get fixed in the apartments but had all kind of demands when it came to the rent, how paying renters parked they're cars, among other things. They charge you twice for a pet fee if you have to move into a smaller or bigger apartment. To many demand for no real work to be done in apartments with, water damage, termites & rats.
The staff was very friendly and maintenance quick to repair. However, inundated with swarms of hundreds of termites on at least 4 occasions in the apartment where we had to tape the entryways to attempt to block the incoming invasion. Had a leak from the ceiling into the bathtub for over a year that never was able to be repaired. Went without power during Hurricane Irma for about 7 days, although half the complex resumed power after 3 days, and TECO had our building reported as having power, which is why my building did not resume power like the rest of the complex. Never missed a payment in 3 years and never had a complaint against us that I can recall. Advised Manager of forwarding address when moving out only to find out that $100 was sent to collections 1 month after relocating. This is how Meridian cares for its clients. No form of compensation or apology issued for the above reoccurring issues during our stay at The Meridian.
TERMITES TERMITES TERMITES! The occasional roach, terrible management, loud neighbors, rough area. The only pro is fast acting maintenance staff. You get what you pay for lesson learned!
the lady's in the office are very nice my little girl just loves them and they are very good to her.and Mary the manager she has been patient with me on money i owe i pay a little at a time.My apartment was very clean when i moved in 4/1 /14 and i had only one maintenance problems that they fix's right a way even now i call for a problem and they take care of it the next day.so far they have never had to come back on the same issue and that's good for me i like a job done right the first time . the apartment is very cute plenty of spaces that's good for me being my little one and i live in a 1 bed room. If i see one bug i call and they take care of it right away. Most part it's very quite. The neighbors around us are nice. THEIR'S only a few things i don't care for the pools could be clean more and ever time i go in the one my skin will itch like the comical's are not right i wish the fitness center was hope longer and when my neighbors smoke it comes throe my vent's in to my apartment and then makes me fill sick .BUT ALL IN ALL IT'S A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE THE PRICES IS NOT BAD IT'S WORTH IT.
When applying for my new home Carmen was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made the applications process easy. This place is quiet, peaceful, comfortable and safe I would recommend it to anybody it is reasonably priced for the location. It has many amenities including 2 sparkling swimming pools, a tennis court, 2 on-site laundry facilities and a fitness center. My new home also has laundry hook ups in each individual apartment, screened in balcony or porch, also can have a pet or two and I also feel very secure living and safe living in a gated community. If someone is interested in a new place to call home I recommend Meridian Apartments. There are different layouts and sizes to fit your lifestyle. My neighbors are peaceful and the complex is quite quiet. So happy I chose here to live!!!
Im currently on the verge of moving because when i moved in the apartment is falling apart there are roaches and nets every where there are cracks in the walls old dusty blinds old stove tops frige doesnt get cold enough cheap carpet and soon as i walk outside there are wasps flying everywhere bats fly out at night its not safe for my 10 month old son there is no park for my son to play the pool is very nasty and has not been cleaned in months maintnance never come out when something is wrong I want a better change for me and my son.
I have lived here off and on since 2004, maintenance is up to date, and current. Office staff is respectful and curteous, they no be by heart:) There are no drug deals in the complex, it's not nasty and there are no kids that hang outside or in the complex because it's not allowed. Based on the other areas around it, very nice quiet environment for me and my family. My lease is up in November, I will definetly miss it, but compare my search to current because I would like the same quietness in my next move.
