Property Ratings at MetroPlace at Town Center
I moved into this apartment complex in 2021 when it was managed by another company and had nothing but positive experiences. When I renewed my lease in the beginning of 2023 I not prepared for the management to change and my living experience to dramatically change for the worse. The front gate and garage door never seemed to work allowing anyone to come into the community and the garage, packages routinely went missing, and the biggest downfall was when I got my purse stolen that included my keys on a Sunday afternoon I could not get a hold of anyone. I called the front desk but the office was of course closed so I called the emergency number and left multiple messages no one got back to me until almost 24 hours later. The "emergency" number was connected to the regular maintenance number so there was nothing emergency about it. Also in the last year of me living there the increased noise became unmanageable. I am ok with loud music to an extent but a Sunday night at 3 AM is not ok and again it's not like we can call an emergency number to let the property manager know of the complaint. In the end I could not wait to leave this property, but of course they gave me one last headache when charging me a ridiculous fee to clean the bedroom carpet and do something in the bathroom so I am only getting $5 back from my $500 security deposit.

I am a current resident. Today I tried to play basketball at the basketball court. I was told I had to reserve 2 hours in advance online. No one was using the court. Management would not let me use the amenities I pay for. If you want to use amenities at your apartment complex look somewhere else. I will be moving out when my lease is up. Not being able to use amenities is a big no. Please rent elsewhere. Best and truthful advice
I have only been here 6 months but I have to say living here has been EVERYTHING to me,this year has been a very tough year for me but the staff in the leasing office has been great with helping and assisting with when ever I needed them.Trina and Tomarra have went above and beyond their jobs ,they have been nothing be supportive to me and my family. But I have to say all of the staff are always extremely professional and helpful. I love everything about living here at Metroplace thanks again you guys for always giving your all and more this is definitely the place to be !
These apartments are not worth the price. I've had so many maintenance issues and I've been argued with that I was lying about them until they finally show up realize there is an issue and half assedly fix it. Due to this, I was out of hot water for 2 and a half week until they finally had a professional find the problem. They kept claiming they fixed it I had to call 3 times for them to actually take me seriously. They didnt replace anything in this apartment before I moved in like they told me they would, I had disgusting wet carpet that they "cleaned" the day I had to move in but didnt dry the carpet plus they left trash in the crevices of the carpet and wall. It took 2 days for the carpet to dry. My fridge has a huge yellow stain and the inside was not clean well. My tub was not finished well, it had so many lumps it was like standing on sand. It took 3 months for them to send someone to repave it and they didnt bother putting me in a hotel so the place can air out.The heater didnt work when I moved in. My toilet was disgusting black stuff leaked out where the water came out this was just fixed it still constantly runs. I have an ongoing issue that they refuse to fix, the air condition unit turns on by itself through out the day, night early morning for about 40 seconds it runs then turns off. I was planning to move out now that a year has past but decided to stay for convenience. That was a huge mistake because it has been months and they're telling me they still dont have a date for when they're going to fix my air conditioning unit so I'm paying full price for an apartment that has maintenance issues and they refuse to give any discounts for it and at the same time they're not fixing the issue.
Management is terrible and is completely I accommodating. Three break ins occurred in a short time span and the residents were not informed. The locks on the doors are insecure and allows sufficient space to be tampered with. The pool facilities area had worms infestation. Residents are only allowed to bring one guest to the pool. Additional guests are $15 per person. When tickets are submitted to make repairs to the units the requests tend to go without response. Community is gated but lacks proper security to prevent crime from entering the community as it has become a serious issue. The list goes on and on. I would not recommend this community at these prices
Unbelieveable the level of incompetence this complex has. Nothing is a priority in this complex. I come home one day from a long day of work to my key card to letting me up into my building. It takes 5 mins to get someone on the phone and another 15 mins to have maintence come let me into the building - after expressing the urgency it is to get upstair to use the rest room. there's no accontability. 2 weeks ago when there was massive rain, there was a puddle in my living room and it took them 2-3 days to come and assess it. If I could give this place no stars I would. Im just grateful i have just a one year lease. NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! TRUST ME, YOURE BETTER OFF SOMEWHERE ELSE - at least with the cost of rest this place charges you'd expect adequate communication between the office and tenants but THATS NOT THE CASE! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
I was gonna move to this place a year ago but was immediately turned off by the management. But now they have a whole new team. The apartments I are really good size for the price that you pay and the location is perfect. It is literally a five minute walk to the metro station which is really convenient for people who work in the city. The people who work in the leasing office are genuinely helpful not just putting on a face for show. The area is nice and quiet and you never see any chaotic things going on outside the apartment. The only issue I've ever had is the company they work with that allows you to use your key fob the open the gate sometimes has its issues. It took me about 5 days to get my key register but other than that I absolutely love living here thus far and highly recommend it.
