Property Ratings at The Paddock At Norwood
Living here has become unbearable due to an ongoing roach infestation that affects multiple units. I’ve spoken with several neighbors, and we’re all dealing with the same issues: roaches, water damage, and mold. Despite multiple complaints and work orders, management has failed to properly address the problem. The front office even told me that “three roaches a day doesn’t mean infestation,” which is dismissive and insensitive to the severity of the situation. Roaches crawl from the cracks in the walls, invade my children’s restroom, my cat’s food bowl, and even my fruit bowl. It’s impossible to live peacefully in these conditions, and the lack of empathy from management has made the experience even worse. If you value your health and sanity, I would strongly reconsider moving here until they resolve the ongoing pest and maintenance issues. Management needs to take these concerns seriously and provide the basic living conditions tenants deserve.

While we do and have always taken our residents issues seriously we are limited to what we can effectively do when residents do not allow us to treat the issue. We gave recommendations on solutions which have been either declined or delayed. We kindly suggest you reach out to the office so together we can get this issue resolved.
Honestly, I feel like the apartments are ran by children T nothing is serious to them.(but let you pay your rent a day late they're gonna give you a call). I asked the lady in the leasing office about my emergency. My power being off since Friday and she asked me did I make a report in the app even though it's an emergency and I called the emergency line not once but twice so on the side of leaving a work order on the phone twice and in the app I'm still without power for three days now no one's giving me a call all of my food is going bad and it's just not important why I have an emergency hotline if no one's gonna answer or call people back. Once before, they left me without power for three months in the summertime. I wasn't able to cook. It was so hot in here. I have really bad anxiety. There's no consideration on their part you would think if someone was sitting in the dark for almost 3 days if they would be some type of effort to restore in their power. We have an emergency line where they used to call you back if you had an emergency and let you know if they would come or what you should do instead not a callback not even an email back the work order that the lady in the leasing office made me put in they opened it and left it in progress.
This is my home for 3 years and I feel good all the staff is friendly and maintenance up to date with everything
Based on my 5 years experience in this place. Was good for few years but things has changed dramatically. Dogs wastes everywhere, people smoke everywhere no one care that it can harm kids, people throw away cigarette waste from upper floors, towing is double standards. They tow resident car but visitors cars no problem, they don’t tow visitors cars even it is parked in visitors parking for months. Most importantly if you need maintenance after hours; they don’t Even have number to contact. You need to call 911 for alarm maintenance.

My family and I have been living at this apartment complex for more than 2 years now and we love it here. The Paddock at Norwood is really involved in their community which is awesome because you know that they truly care about us (their residents). The ladies in the office are always willing to help us in whatever we need. Ricardo and the maintenance team are always doing there best to keep our community clean. My children truly do enjoy the pool, computer room and the theater. It's a great place to raise a family!!!

2 year old apt. Complex next to 183 N in Austin very spacious with energy star appliances. There is a water meter on every apt. so you only pay for the water you use unlike other places. The apt is electric except for water heating which is gas. Parking areas are well lit with most parking first come first serve unless you want covered parking for $30 more in rent . A lovely place to live.
I moved in to Paddock Apts when they first opened up. It is a very good place to live if you are on a budget. It is right next to a Walmart and the driving distance to many eateries and shopping place is amazing. You are right next to the major Highways! the only complaint I have is that the rent isn't controlled, it has and will go up and down, but they give you at least a week notice.
Near freeway and Wal-mart. Spacious 1 bed and bath kid playground and pool open seasonal. Covered parking for additional cost. Well lit complex nice apartment staff. Washer and dryer connections in apt but not much or very acessible apt community laundry room. On site maintence staff also friendly. Fairly quite apt complex. Energy star appliances.
