Beloved for its proximity to both the Jersey Shore and New York City, the central region of Middlesex County sits about 40 miles southwest of Midtown Manhattan. Nearby New Brunswick, home to Rutgers University, provides access to a rich, local arts and culture hub. This neighborhood is ideal for those seeking a quiet, suburban setting not far removed from nearby entertainment and amenities. Mid- and low-rise apartment communities in the northern section of the neighborhood give way to more single-family homes fit for a variety of renters. Interstate 95 and a host of other thoroughfares make commuting around the area a breeze.

Property Ratings at Parkview at Madison
Lived here for a year now, and if it wasn’t for personal reasons I’d stay. The location is great and also quiet. Neighbors are pretty friendly and there’s almost always parking. Central heat/AC never let me down and maintenance comes quick for any issue. I also love the higher windows, gives some privacy. The location of the front doors is great for moving in/out. Pretty good closet space as well. Only cons for me are the small kitchen (good for 1 person, ok for 2). And there’s spiders, but thats a given when you live near trees.
Rosemary was such a pleasure to work with, Jose the maintenance man was wonderful, couldn’t be happier
Wonderful grounds and are well kept...staff is always on top of everything and are very friendly...pool is clean and affordable...plus the complex is pet friendly with even a "bark park" for dogs...being living here for over 3 yrs and I'm very pleased
I've lived here for over three years and plan to stay for quite a few more! I love it here...the apartments are so nice and everything inside and out is so well maintained. When you have an issue they fix it right away...AND you can have a dog and the pool is amazing!! No reason to leave:)
I have been living at Parkview at Madison for 4 years now and going into my 5th. There are a lot of apartments in the area, and a lot of them have similar features. Standout features for me are the location (right off the parkway), and the dog park. What keeps me here is that it feels like a real community. I have met so many of my neighbors, we all look out for each other, and I have made a few good friends here. The Resident Manager and Maintenance Staff are excellent, and the property is well maintained. The apartments are a nice size and plenty of closets. I really love the recessed balcony (so does the dog). The breezeways are wide open making bringing groceries or larger items like furniture upstairs easy. I would say the only real downside, like any apartment complex, is that the walls are thin, and when you don't have the tv on or music playing, you can hear your neighbors. It's expected in apartment living though. Cest la vie!
Most people here are friendly and quiet. Aside from the busy road that my apartment is facing, it is so quiet here. They allow dogs and that's the best part for me. Maintenance is helpful and quick too. The walls are super thin though and some stuff can definitely be updated like the cabinets and balcony. You can pay extra for updated apartments but I think that's just general maintenance too. Location is perfect!
I could not have found a better geographical perfect apartment without the Apartment.com app. As for the apartment, it sits across the road from one of the most beautiful NJ State parks. The kitchen is updated and I'll be able to cook healthy foods on a new stove and wash the dishes in a new dishwasher. Perfect for trying some old and favorite recipes. Moving out of an urban environment to rural NJ allows me country quiet only minutes away to train transport directly into NYC or Atlantic City. Changing from house to apartment has been the biggest change in my life yet. In an apartment like this, I can feel good to return home to my apartment aside the park
