With a fitting name, the Greater Hobby area of Houston sits nearly 14 miles southeast of downtown. A fitting name because many residents enjoy more space and lower cost of living than neighborhoods closer to the city, freeing up budgets and schedules. The Greater Hobby Area is a largely residential community alongside the William P. Hobby Airport.
While Downtown Houston is just a 20-minute drive away, there is still plenty to do in the Greater Hobby Area. There’s a diverse selection of restaurants that serve everything from bubble tea to Tex-Mex, and shops selling antiques or sporting gear. Greater Hobby also provides plenty of green spaces and recreation space for residents to enjoy without having to venture far from their apartments, such as Blackhawk Park.

Property Ratings at Parkview Village- Houston
The management to this place is just the worst, especially the front office. I've had a problem with the freezer not working and when it was the day for the maintenance guy to fix the freezer, he just walked into my apartment without knocking whatsoever. The pet fee is $500 which is a completely unreasonable amount.
ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES AND MORE ROACHES!!! I have to keep my kitchen & bathroom lights on..this place is HORRIBLE! my lease is up in 2weeks and I'm running as fast as I can.. False advertisment @ best!!!!!! NO WASHER & DRYER HOOKUPS, the apt washer/dryer is 20 yrs old takes ur $$ manager won't give back people steal ur clothes or put THEIR laundry in with urs for a free wash! Residents leave their trash bags in the parkg lot or on the sidewalk for stray dogs, cats & raccoons- yeah, just imagine NO HIGH SPEED INTERNET, NO POOL, NO PLAYGROUND - the kids run around all day in the parking lot area, throwg eggs at the buildings and play in abandon apartments. Had no idea an apartment complex could be so nasty.
Every rude not care nothing about the ppl that live there hot water never really work's they never fix the apartment just patch over everything no parking all they want is rent money dont care about nothing else even with what ppl just went through with hurrcaine Harvey not a place you won't to be
MY DAUGHTER HAD TO BE WATER RESCUED FROM HER APARTMENT COMPLEX BECAUSE OF HIGH WATER IN THAT AREA. AS THE RAIN CONTINUED SHE WAS AFRAID THAT HER CARS WOULD BE AFFECTED BY RISING WATER SO SHE ALONG WITH OTHER NEIGHBORS ALSO PULLED THEIR CARS UP OFF PARKING LOT. SHE AND I WAS AFRAID WATER STEADY RISING I WANTED HER OUT. I CALLED WATER RESCUE TEAM AND THANK GOD WITHIN HOURS THEY CAME. ON TODAY SECRETARY CALLED FOR HER TO COME REMOVE HER CAR BEFORE MANAGEMENT GETS IN??????. IN THE EMOTIONAL STATE OF MIND SHE STILL IN DIDN'T WANT THEM TO BE FINED BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT THE SECRETARY TOLD HER. TELEPHONE RD STILL FLOODED. YOU CAN ONLY GET THROUGH IF U HAD A TRUCK!! MY DAUGHTER FIANCE HAD TO WALK THROUGH THE WAIST DEEP WATER TO GO REMOVE THE CARS. I CALLED TO SPEAK WITH SECRETARY TWICE AND BOTH TIMES I WAS HUNG UP ON!! NO COMPASSION FROM THESE PEOPLE AT ALL!!!!
Cops are always there, because cars are broken into daily. Management doesn't care about the safety of the tenants. Several shootings have happened since January 2016.
