Property Ratings at Parkwild Apartments
First tour everything looked ok and was told the apartments had recently been renovated. Moved in..... over half the outlets don’t work in apartment. Broken drawers in kitchen. Doors don’t stay on hinges and get stuck open Water stained and dirty cabinets beneath sinks and counters. Flooring in bathroom coming up. Toilet fills up when neighbors flush or run water. Just a lot of things that I feel could have been checked/fixed for what I’m paying. Also, never any parking. I’m consistently parking on the other side of the lot from where my building is. Walls are very thin. You can hear EVERYTHING & and my building constantly smells like weed.
The management is fantastic. Don’t get me wrong on that. But I honestly wasn’t happy living here. I was told a lot of renovations were made but if you look at the smaller things, I think it could have been better especially for what I was paying. Bathroom floor was falling apart behind toilet, over half the outlets in my apartment didn’t work. Drawers in kitchen broken, and inside cabinets were worn down and water stained, so I didn’t use most of them. Doors wouldn’t stay on hinges and toilet constantly over flowing from the first day I moved in. I’ve lived in Apartments before this and expected the noise/lack of parking and things like that, but the people in my building sucked. Constantly smelt weed, heard doors slamming 24/7, people running up and down stairs all day long, and every little noise my neighbors mare( maybe thicker walls with next upgrade?) and parking just sucks. I’ve had to park on the opposite side of the property constantly, and getting off work at midnight and the outdoor lights not working while walking up the hill was not fun. And maybe don’t advertise that the apartments come with microwave/ washer and dryer?..because they don’t and obviously I knew that when I moved in, but overtime it just seemed like for what I was paying, coulda at least had a washer and dryer? But nice carpet. But like I said, management is great and I know they’ve put a lot of work into these apartments, just maybe lower rent for the conditions of the apartments?
I’ve only been here for 3-4 months and I can honestly say the apartment Manager is hands on, enthusiastic, and caring. You never see him sitting doing nothing. The maintenance is fast and easy. They put a lot of effort in. The beauty and well kept together makes it a real home.
I have lived here for almost a year and have nothing but great things to say! It is in a great location! I feel safe being here and going out at night walking my pup. Andrew the property manager is awesome! Always willing to help out whenever! Keeps things clean! It is a peaceful place to live! Great community to be apart of l!
Moved to CB on a short term assignment and needed an apartment. Andrew gave me a tour and quickly moved me in. The apartment itself was great--never had a problem the six months I lived here. Was nervous about moving into such a large building but neighbors were always friendly and quiet. No safety concerns at all either. Loved it here and was sad to leave--by far the best bang for your buck in CB.
My husband and I moved in here last February and we love it!! Andrew and his staff are so professional and they really make sure that any request for maintance was needed it was taken care of in a very timely manner. We have a 2 bedroom on the main floor i love the view from our patio we look out into the wooded area. The apartment was so clean when we moved in the kitchen was spotless you walked in and you could smell the clean not like a lot of places the apartments are really nice and spacious the people here are really nice and friendly its also pet friendly . If my husbands job didn’t take us out of state we would had signed another lease we just love it here! The apartments have your appliances washer dryer fridge stove microwave and i love the windows all around we have a corner unit on the ground floor . The grounds are always kept so nice and the pool is awesome Andrew always makes sure the pool is cleaned and ready for use. It’s in a wooded area but the peacefulness and the quiet is great from our bedroom balcony door we can go out to the patio it’s great!!! We see such wonderful things from our windows and on snowy mornings it’s so pretty. I love looking out the windows when the fog rolls in . Andrew and his staff are just AWESOME where ever we live they are really going to have some big shoes to fill after experience this place. I would rate this place a 10
My boyfriend & I moved in last July and have loved this apartment complex ever since! Andrew is very helpful and is always doing work to improve the complex. Our unit is updated, very clean when we moved in, and our balcony has a great view. Even though there isn't a gym, running the nearby hills in the morning is a great workout! Others that live here are always nice, it's a pet friendly complex, and in a great location- we recommend!
Strongly recommend not living here , wouldn’t even tell my worst enemy to rent here . Property managers very incompetent and unprofessional , and overall unreliable . Don’t get me started on how thin these walls are . I can hear almost everything that goes on around me . Also ventilation ? Forget about it . I get my neighbors dirty cigarette air . BEWARE .
I recently moved in, so I can't speak for past managers or past reviews. What I can say is that the current manager Andrew is a very helpful guy. I was moving from another state which had turned out to be a huge hassle (not being able to investigate every place in person first hand etc). Andrew made the whole process a lot easier, and had all the information I needed at hand and was able to smooth the process for me, which was great as this is my first rental. The apartments themselves are a little older, but they look nice on the outside and are nicely laid out. I got a one bedroom and I found it to be much more spacious than I'd anticipated, and a bit cheaper than comparable rentals. My apartment has a wash room with a washer and dryer unit which is a HUGE plus for me. If you opt for a unit without a washer/dryer, there are plenty of laundry rooms in the buildings. All the standard appliances you'd expect, Fridge, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, a big balcony and quiet neighbors. The parking is a little limited in some areas, and I can imagine having to park a bit from the apartment at late hours. As far as the grounds go there is a swimming pool, and plenty of green grass and hills to walk around. The apartments are nestled in a heavily treed area so it feels a lot more like you're in the middle of a private rustic community than in the middle of an urban nest. The apartments are pet friendly! Internet/tv/phone is through Cox Cable, or Centurylink. The fastest speed I found was 100mb at Centurylink (but I didn't check Cox). AT&T gets decent coverage here which is nice, as the service is pretty spotty in Nebraska/Iowa for AT&T. So far I'm thrilled, but if anything major should change I'll update my review.
