My mom has lived at Piper Lofts for about 3 years now, and I love visiting! The apartments are spacious and unique with lots of natural lighting, and the amenities are fantastic. I'm looking forward to applying to live here when my current lease is up!
Over the years I have lived in 5 apartment complexes, and piper is by far my favorite! The management and maintenance staff are always extremely responsive. The property stays clean and well kept. Resident events are put on often at no charge to us. The property manager Tiffany also does giveaways with prizes for residents often. (Usually gift cards to local owned businesses which is also a plus!). The community has amazing amenities and industrial brick lofts, but the building and appliances are all modernized and updated. It is truly my favorite place cosmetically but also the place I’ve felt most comfortable living. Security throughout the building is at an all time high, and there is usually a security officer near by or on the property at night. Couldn’t ask for more!!
This property is excellent! I’ve only been here for two months now but managed t and maintenance are so great and made my move so easy for my dog and myself. Apartments are spacious and offer great windows with lots of natural light. Amenity spaces are so well maintained and offer so many options without having to even leave the building. Piper really is a great place to be!
Coming up on two years and i absolutely love it here. Perfect location in the Crossroads and more affordable than some of the newer apartment complexes going up around the area. Pros: walking distance to tons of bars/breweries/restaurants, fitness center, rooftop pool w/great views, mini mart, resident lounge, well constructed and insulated units, balcony, package lockers, timely maintenance, flat utility rate excluding electricity, goody bags during the holidays, easy staff availability, attached parking garage (street parking isnt an issue though), being able to buzz people into the building with your phone, secure building, elevators, trash service, visitor parking in garage Cons: no windows in bedroom (depends on unit), since building is secure kind of an inconvenience letting guests in, homeless people occasionally sleeping outside the building, parking garage gets full on first fridays due to residents letting in guests and security doesnt enforce visitors parking in resident spots.
My husband and I wanted the classic loft-feel with exposed brick, beams, big windows, concrete floors, etc. We toured probably 10+ properties in KC and Piper was the only one that just checked every box, plus some. Besides being beautiful, it’s in a great location! It’s got an amazing view of the skyline and the closest streetcar stop is just a 5 min walk away. There’s also countless bars and restaurants within walking distance and lots of really cool local shops. The building feels safe and secure and we love the parking garage and rooftop pool. The staff has always been helpful and friendly! Piper Lofts is where it’s at.

I've lived here for almost 2 years with my parents. It is an amazing place and it really feels like I am living in luxury. It is a great place and the staff are very friendly. The maintenence guys work as hard as ever to get you whatever you need fixed.
Piper is a fantastic downtown KC community, we just renewed our lease and couldn’t be happier. The tenants are a mix of all ages and backgrounds, and everyone is super respectful of each other. The staff at Piper are fantastic, they deserve an award for how they run the property! There are some great amenities on-site, and rent is really reasonable given the location and quality of the units. We have an incredible view of the skyline, and the jacuzzi tubs are INCREDIBLE.
I decided to sell my house and try the downtown life almost three years ago now. I toured so many properties and this was almost last, instantly I knew it was the winner, been here since. Better to experience it before writing a review, right? The history of the building alone is awesome, but the floor plans, the big windows, and amazing amenities make it top notch. It may not be the new or “trendy” places popping up, but with my background in the architectural world, nothing beats good ole brick and concrete for quality, but also great for sound. If you want true urban living with that industrial look you can’t beat it. And if location is important, it is literally in the middle of it all.
The neighborhood is one of the best in kc. There is regularly a new restaurant, art gallery, or bar popping up all over the place, all within walking distance. The apartment are spacious and nice plus a rooftop pool and gym.
I love living in the Piper Lofts. Going on 3 or 4th year. Just renewed my lease. They keep really clean. Everyone is curtious and friendly. Great views. Great Pool. They even have a mini market in case you run out of milk. Can't say enough good things about it!
I have been here 5 years and I love it. Spacious apartments, quiet, secure parking (for guests too!), rooftop pool, fitness center, and close to the best restaurants and bars. Right in the middle of first Friday excitement. What more could you ask for?!?

Piper Lofts is the first building I have lived in since 2008 that has lived up to the “luxury” it uses in its description. The management doesn’t make you feel as if you are an imposition when a request is made.
This apartment is great for its cool lofts and location in crossroads. The neighborhood makes this property. The apartment has tons of great views, the rooftop amenities give you great outdoor access, and the apartments themselves are spacious and chic.

I've lived at Piper Lofts for 4 years now and its only gotten better and better. The location is prime and the amenities are so fun. The roof top pool deck is what won me over. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would refer and recommend Piper Lofts to anyone and everyone!
I've moved around to a few different neighborhoods in Kansas City, and Crossroads is by far my favorite. With tons of bars, restaurants, and galleries within walking distance, Piper Lofts has the perfect location - plus the views from the rooftop patio and pool can't be beat. The apartment finishes are great too, but my only complaint is that the cement floors and soaring ceilings made it difficult to keep warm in the winter time.
