South Nashville is a sprawling district covering just over 15 square miles. The community extends from the southern edge of Downtown Nashville to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. South Nashville contains an array of diverse, established communities, including Wedgewood-Houston, Woodycrest, Woodbine, Hill-n-Dale, Radnor, Raymond Heights, Patricia Heights, Napier, Glencliff, Glencliff Estates, and Chestnut Hill.
The rental options are just as diverse as the region itself, with plenty of apartments, condos, townhomes, and houses available for rent in every style and budget. Residents often choose this area for its largely affordable rent prices and its central location. Commuting and traveling is simple with access to several major highways and Nashville International Airport.

Property Ratings at Retreat at Lenox Village
Marci and Skip were so helpful throughout our apartment search process and were kind enough to squeeze us in multiple times for tours on a moments notice. We got such a great deal on our apartment and love the area as well as the staff. Maintenance is also extremely responsive. We had a problem with our microwave and it was replaced within 2 hours. The staff is prompt in sending alerts to residents and keeping the tenants up to date. Our apartment is so quiet and peaceful and we love the area as well. I would recommend Lennox to anyone.

Wow, what a fantastic review! Thank you for sharing your satisfaction with our peaceful community and helpful team, especially Marci and Skip. As always, we are here for you whenever you need us.
I would say a majority of the positive reviews you see about this apartment complex must have been written by the staff or members of the management company. Now that I have moved out, I can finally write an honest review of this complex and the revolving door of rude staff and even worse management. If you like new faces, you will love living here because they cannot seem to keep any of their front office staff aside from a few people between the Retreat and LV Town Center. Hardly anyone is ever in the actual Retreat office, the management is poor and fails to address actual serious complaints such as residents who blare their music so loud it vibrates walls until well past midnight and can be heard half way across the parking lot, leave packages outside their door for days and never bring them in, and dealing with residents who pose a threat to others in the community by threatening them. However, if you want to WALK around in your own apartment or heaven forbid your dog barks, be ready for management to send TWO people to your doorstep over your dog barking ONCE or call and/or come knocking if your dog is unattended on your balcony (it is fine if your neighbor's dog who is a nuisance and barks at everyone and everything is out unattended though because they dont enforce the rules the same for everyone). Also, be prepared to receive letters from their attorney threatening eviction for creating a "noise disturbance" if your downstairs neighbor complains about hearing you walk or the sounds of your dogs walking across the apartment floors even though they never brought it to your attention and you only weigh 135lbs. So, if you like poor management, unequal enforcement of the rules, hearing your neighbors music and loud Zoom calls, and have mastered the art of levitation, the Retreat is a great apartment complex.

Please be assured we will use your feedback to ensure we're always delivering the best service possible. We appreciate your honesty and wish you all the best in your new home.
I moved in around mid-Feb 2019. I visited the complex on a Friday and received my keys on Tuesday. It was an extremely fast, easy process with a lot of helpful guidance from the leasing managers (I think mine was named Maci?- she was fantastic). It required a bit of money upfront to move-in, processing fees, leasing deposit, etc. As long as you're prepared for that, it's a quick, painless process. Everything works great, looks great. I'm on a corner, third floor, and I don't hear any neighbors ever. The grounds and landscaping are beautiful, and there's pet waste deposit boxes placed throughout the grounds. I actually enjoy walking my dog and looking at all the beautiful Spring plants popping up. I haven't used the pool yet, but I'm seeing people lay out, so I know it's ready to go. My boyfriend dropped his keys in the parking lot, and a neighbor returned them to him. It's just a very pleasant place to live- I enjoy the ability to walk down the street and grab coffee at Sweetwaters or a burger at Burger Republic. Umami is also amazing for sushi. Just waiting for a little wine store to open up and I'll never have to leave the area! I think it's worth price for the updates, location, amenities, and community atmosphere.
Called to check on availability and the leasing agent acted like she was doing me a favor to vaquely answer my questions. She was rude and disrespectful. If this is how they treat potential residents I can’t imagine how they treat people after they’ve signed the lease. No thanks. Too many options in the area.
Talk about price increase, rent continues to go up massive amounts. Granted, this is Nashville and everything is increasing but when customer service is so poor here, it is hard to justify paying such amounts. Even the new apartments are very poorly built: Thin walls, leaking doors, leaking windows, etc. The management is horrible to say the least. You tell them of something wrong and they do nothing to fix it or takes months to actually get it done. While the maintenance guy is nice, he is over worked and I am sure receives priority of how to fix, by the horrible management. If you want to live in a greedy place where you can hear your neighbor talking next door, never have anything done in a timely manner, have awful neighbors, pay WAY too much for rent, etc., etc. etc. then by all means move in and hate living here. Personally, I can't wait until my lease is up to get out of this dump.
I have lived here for two years and I have enjoyed it. Lots of shops and restaurants. Very quiet and the people are friendly. The only down for is the poor customer service from the management. I reached out to management about an issue I was having with my apartment. I called management and he was not at all responsive to my issue. He was very combative and argumentative. He did not care about my issue or helping me resolve my issue. I was very disappointed and sadden that I must move after two enjoyable years at The Retreat aka Lenox Villiage III.
