Property Ratings at 444 Park Apartments
Right now, right now in one of their buildings, building D there are three elevators,NONE ARE WORKING NADA ZIP NIET NONE entire building is six floor walk up one wing hasn’t had a working elevator since 2018,the other wing 15 months, center elevator down two weeks,no pest control ants are on the move, how it got a positive rating is beyond me in fact most of Richmond Hts apartments have big issues. No communication nobody to call you are on your own the city is of no help. I didn’t even have a working furnace for 10 months STAY AWAY
its gross, poor living conditions. Pool is always closed, office is always closed. Cant call anybody or talk to anybody. rent is way to high to live like this
The building upkeep is poor. The ceiling near the lobby recently collapsed due to a prolonged leakage that hasn’t been fixed. The door buzzer hasn’t worked in almost 2 weeks. Guests can’t gain access to the building. The elevator constantly breaks down. People have gotten stuck on it numerous times. It sometimes skips floors and takes people directly to the 6th floor despite them pressing the button to their floor. One man was taken to the 6th floor three times before the elevator let him off. Many people, including senior citizens have had to take the stairs carrying heavy bags. Maintenance is slow to respond. They only care about collecting the rent.
The customer service is terrible. You can’t get in contact with NOBODY.. not even for a emergency. They have a red ant problem that won’t seem to go away. The hallways and lobby looks a total mess. It has a very stinky mildew smell in the hallways. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. They don’t care about you and your living conditions. They are all about the dollar
I do not recommend- you can do better. I had to highly edit this review to fit in this space. there is A LOT more I wanted to express. I rode out my lease then I was GONE! - Multiple issues on move in were never repaired after several promises to fix. - I went over 7 weeks in the summer with no A/C! - People just throw trash everywhere here. In the hallways, stairwells, parking lot, grass, bushes, wherever. One day I came home and found a bag of trash on my patio. It can get really bad after a weekend but by the time I got home on Monday it was clean again. - The lawns are well maintained. Parking lots are plowed promptly in the winter. - My neighbor had a huge dead raccoon next to their balcony for WEEKS before it was removed. - Twice the building fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night during the week. Both false alarms. - My building had a laundry room with 14 washers and 16 dryers. Almost half the dryers and a few of the washers were broken for months. However, all the dryers were repaired. It costs $1.95 to wash and $1.50 to dry a load. My clothes would frequently have an odor to them after washing. - The buildings themselves have seen better days. The hallway carpets are dirty, worn, and stained. The hallways frequently smell like weed smoke. - I never had any guests over because I was ashamed of the general condition of this unit. - I had no issues with crime. Neighbors are friendly. It's pretty quiet here. - It can be very affordable to live here. - Move out was pretty easy albeit expensive. When I moved in I put down a $299.00 security deposit. Four weeks after moving out I received a check in the mail from 444 Park for $45.00. I left that apt cleaner than it was when I moved in... especially the bathroom floors.
I gave this 1 star only because zero was not an option. I have lived here for a little over 2 years. Some issues I have been trying to get resolved and/or corrected since I moved in. The management and staff will tell you whatever you want to here to placate you. I hate being placated. I haven't even been able to get the simplest of things corrected. ie, a new thermostat that doesn't keep the correct temperature, a sink sprayer that leaks, a closet bi-fold door that's been missing (they've been up to my apartment 6 times for this and still no door. Just excuses), a sliding screen door for the balcony that has a 3 inch gap at the top and bottom (it's the wrong size), elevators that are broke and not working more than they are, exterior doors that don't securely lock and therefor anyone that wants to can just walk right in the building (they have fixed these but shortly thereafter there kicked open and unsecure once again) The list goes on but you get the point. If you love aggravation, fighting to get things corrected, and being told lie and excuse after lie and excuse then this is the place for you. In fact, this is the perfect place for you. If not, either learn to like those things or look elsewhere because that's exactly what you will get with 444 Park Apartments. Luxury apartments? Do they really have that on there sign? None of what I am writing in here is fabricated or exaggerated (at all). It has been mine and many others experience while living here. It has actually gotten so bad that I have had to notify them of my intent to escrow my rent with the court starting in September.
Guys, this is the worst place I've ever lived. First and foremost half of the staff is either lying or don't know what's going on. They don't answer your phone calls most of the time because no one is at the desk. It's dirty. PERIOD. They're in the middle of renovations but that doesn't change the fact that you will be living amongst trash and litter. Every time you walk outside of your apartment you'll see trash absolutely everywhere. The halls smell like weed. Someone's car was broken into in the parking garage and another person was shot at. The elevators are always broken. Half of the washers and dryers are broken. It's like the projects in the middle of Richmond Heights, OH. It doesn't matter how you leave your apartment, you can leave it spotless and they will still charge you a $45 carpet cleaning fee. They will use any excuse to keep your money. They took $200 of my money and claimed that I was underpaying on my rent. (which I wasn't, they were charging me for a water bill that no one in the building ever gave me). When I brought this up to the manager that no one told me that I had a water bill and no one ever mailed me one, he basically shrugged his shoulders and made a bunch of pathetic excuses. MY friend almost moved here and I made him turn his car around and rip up the check he had for them. Please don't move here. Leaving was the best decision i've ever made in my life.
My roommate and I were both looking to tour at 444 so we called the phone number and was directed to customer service. We were looking to sign a lease somewhere soon so we wanted to get a tour sometime during the week. The customer service rep took a good 10 minutes gathering our information and what we were looking for but at the end of the convo said they wouldn't be able to give us a tour until 2 weeks later. We asked if they accepted walk in tours and she said no but would give my information to a leasing agent and they would contact me as soon as they had an opening. After a couple days, my roommate and I both got emails saying to call them to schedule a personalized tour so we call (thinking this was a personal invite) and it was just another customer service rep asking for our information all over again even though we've already given it all to them. This time again they tell us that they cannot schedule a tour for another 2 weeks. This was a waste of our time and even though we had high hopes to sign a lease there after touring (if we could even get a tour), our bad experience with not being able to speak and tour with a leasing agent directly at the building gave us the impression that if we did live there and had a problem come up, we would probably be turned around in circles just like we were when trying to schedule a tour. Also, we were looking for a tour in July and now it is Sept and just received a phone call asking if we were still interested. Unfortunately we signed a lease with one of their competitors in the area who was actually able to give us a tour the same day we called them. We signed the lease a few days after and we are so glad we did not wait around for 444 because clearly they did not care for our business.
Do not let this place fill you management can care less about all the stuff that breaks down in your apartment maintenance they don't know what they are doing they will fix something than it will become broke again the place is bed bug infested the only thing that looks good is the leasing office but the people in it no the assistant manager I can't remember her name I just know she is a foreign woman and she couldn't understand my frustration she tried to argue back with me like she is living here and paying my bills the nerve of her so no I wouldn't recommend this 444 park apartments keep looking in other directions!
I don't usually leave reviews but with this one you need to know. If I could leave no stars believe the star line would be empty Please save yourself the time and money. This place sucks. I've been here for 2 years and since I've got here I've had problems. Different managements all the time. and these people we have now are the worse omg. You can never contact them unless you physically go down there not to mention only 1/3 of the elevators work in the building and I have a child. Maintenance take forever which is probably because everyone calls them having issues. My ceilings leak all the time in my living room and bathroom. I have mildew from the water in my bathroom and they tell me maintenance doesn't do that I have to go out and buy the stuff on my own. Same with my furniture the ceiling leaked water and they told me I have to go get it cleaned myself. Remind you I have a child so that's very annoying. Then my carpet smells one of the managers said they will have someone come clean it that was a week and a half ago. Carpet still smells. Pool been down since I moved in two years ago and are still not complete now man I can go on and on don't move here.
Make sure you are able to see the type of unit you will be renting. I went for a tour and was told that the unit I wanted was unavailable for viewing, despite the website advertisement that there'sunits ready now, and I could see a model unit which wouldn't be the same that I would rent. That's pointless! Then I was told that the unit I wanted wouldn't be available until I sign a lease... not!!
This was my first apartment & it was the worst experience of my life. 2 days after moving into my apartment I found out it was infested with bedbugs and when I went to management about the situation the leasing agent said "well you could've brought them with you" on top of saying that no one from the building could see about the bugs until a week later. The stove in my apartment half way worked , my AC stopped working twice and they took a week to fix it each time , on top of my high electric bill because my windows kept in no air because of huge cracks ! eventually I was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of my building after returning from work , only to call the police and they let me know what management didn't , that I was the fifth robbery that week! Luckily they released me from my lease & I couldn't be happier to move . I would give it no stars if I could
I wouldn't recommend this building to anyone. The management and maintenance are horrible. They have very poor customer service. The maintenance take a very long time to fix things. People break into the vending machines a lot. They think renovating a building is going to sustain residents. Think again. When you pay your rent. They claim you don't, so hold on to your receipt. There are plenty of other places to move just don't move here. You won't like it at all.
It's 2016. I have moved here for 5 years so please trust me, if not go on and be hard headed and find out yourself. Since I have moved here our managment has changed at least 8 times. I have tried to up grade to a 2bedroom apartment for 3 years now and ever time they say it's non available. That's bogus, on my floor on my side let alone has 4 empty apartments smh. Really? ?? That's cray cray. Also leasing staff are unprofessional if you don't know what this word means please google it, I don't have time to teach right now. Again if you like find out yourself. I don't know who is giving 4to 5 star rating but thats bogus!!!!
this was my worst experience ever for it to be my first apartment! No one ever fixed anything and I had mold in my apartment so I had to move back home with my mom. I wouldn't suggest this place to my worst enemy
I have been living in Richmond Park Apartments for 2 years now and it has been nothing but problem after problem. Richmond Heights is a very nice community. The property managers are horrible they do not take care of issues in a timely manner. The maintenance workers take forever to fix a problem in your apartment. They have been renovating the apartment for over a year my hallway was stripped with no paint or wall paper for more than 6 months it was very embarassing I could not have company over. The hot water tank has broken every winter I have stayed here and we go without water for days!! Yet they want to raise prices! I think this place is horrible do not live here they are rude and do not care about their tenants
Moved here recently this past June, moderate size rooms, cute L shape living room with dining room over looks sliding glass door on third floor. Fully carpeted in every room but kitchen. Has a Hugh indoor heated swimming pool and a smaller outdoor pool. Neighbors are friendly and parking is plentiful. Includes heat, A/C and water. Administration are really nice people and very helpful. Apartment in Richmond Heights, great area with large park right next door. We love it here.
I have been at Richmond Park for 1 year now. This is my first apartment, and while I was hesitant about moving in I have found it to be a very enjoyable experience. The staff is very warm towards tenants. The recent and continued renovations within the complex have made it extremely amazing to live here, and while every apartment has its case of flaws; Richmond park makes sure to take every step to correct any issues or problems you may have. Being my first place on my own I have had great time being here! :)
I luv my apt, it has everything I was looking for, it has an inside pool I can do water aerobics in, a fitness center I can do my therapy for my leg. It has central air, a nice balcony, nice plush carpet, the people in Management here are very nice. We have washers n dryers in every building, they also have a garage for those who wants to use it! Overall I would reccommend these apts to everyone!
