As one of the oldest cities in the United States west of the Appalachians, Cincinnati offers residents contemporary urban living in a historic, distinctive setting. One of the oldest cities in the US houses an influential youth culture. Students, professionals, artists, and musicians of all walks of life come to the southwest corner of Ohio to live and work. College and professional sports are wildly popular, with the Bearcats of the University of Cincinnati, the Reds, and the Bengals enjoying huge fan bases in their hometown.
Renters and visitors alike will delight in attractions like the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Newport Aquarium, and the city’s iconic zoo. The annual Oktoberfest is one of the biggest celebrations of its kind outside of Munich, drawing thousands to the streets to celebrate the city’s German heritage.

Property Ratings at The Links
I was really hoping that the reviews on various sites for this complex were just a disgruntled resident. Sadly, I have found every bad review to be the truth. Housing prices are astronomical everywhere anymore, but you definitely aren’t getting a good deal signing a lease here. We are paying for amenities we can’t use, dealing with constant account errors, lack of a maintenance team, and poor communication. The contractors that were hired to renovate these apartments did an awful job with consistent problems and awful “cheap” solutions that will no doubt cause more damages/cost in the long run. With the astronomical cost of rent, you would think there would be more employees to take care of the property. These consistent issues with the addition of “surprise” fees will have your actual monthly rent payment significantly larger than listed. Part of the community fee is a nonexistent pool, unopened community/work out center and AWFUL slow internet. While the employees that we have interacted with were helpful and friendly; the lack of employees/maintenance workers seems to be the biggest issue here. The company in charge of this place really needs to address this. It is unethical to charge residents for fees to nonexistent amenities.

I’ve lived here for 5 years now, 5 years ago this place was terrible I absolutely wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here, but since last year 2022, we got new owners and they kicked all the riff raff out, it’s much more peaceful, it truly is a beautiful place to live At while living on the golf course. They completely turned this place around and it being the middle of 2023 they haven’t stopped upgrading the place .. some issues would be there extremely pricey but after calling around locally it’s reasonable, just be aware for example if you moved in today there’s these extra fees they charge (40$ water fee)(community fee 85$) which is for the pool and a community kitchen which is non existent at this point, I’m assuming there gonna build a new pool, regardless it’s not been existent since I’ve signed a lease for the new apartment.. not really sure why get charged a fee that you can’t even use?? , also I’ll say it’s sometimes frustrating trying to reach out to contact management for concerns or questions rather it’s through email or phone call . If you’re lucky every now and then they’ll answer the phone or respond back with your email a day or 2 later if you even get a response back. Also this may be my own personal opinion but I get a feeling like my everyday movement is being watched, I say that because of the silly violations on our doors myself and others. But to be honest I wouldn’t let that steer you away from this place because it really is a pretty nice place to live at . I just wanted to be completely honest. I’ve only been in the newly renovated apartment for 2 months now … I attend to do another review next year when my lease is up to do my final thoughts once I’ve been here in the newly renovated apartment under the new owners an management… maintenance is great anything that needs to be fixed or get done is usually done in a reasonable amount of time..

They raise the rent by double or more, just slapped a new paint job on the buildings, and destroyed it themselves by hiring shotty contractors to rehab the buildings. They refuse to do needed repairs for current tenants. They force you to live through winter with no head, and deny you ever saying anything. They refuse to handle mold issues. They are kicking everyone out and not renewing leases, even for people who have lived there over a decade. They essentially hung a new chandelier in a haunted house and called it "new and upgraded" Do not move in there, they advertise a "Full service laundry facility:" it is locked and filled with black mold. They keep promising they will fix things for tenants but never do, under you threaten legal action. Then they come and "look" at it and give you notice to get out. No pool, tennis court, basketball court, or dog park as advertised. The dog park is on the next community's property. You would be better off and healthier living in a cardboard box behind Kroger.
