Property Ratings at Saddle Ridge
As far as Saddle Ridge goes, it's definitely not the not high end, with the fully carpeted living room and bedrooms with the occasional subtle stain and the mudded walls and poor paint jobs throughout the apartment, but for 650 a month plus 35 dollar trash and water fee for a two bedroom, it's the best place for the money in Weatherford. It's a perfect area right in town with nothing more than a five minute drive. The complex is also connected to a running trail that leads to holland lake park, which was a huge deciding factor for me since I am an avid runner. Depending on your building you will either be facing trees, or if you are unlucky like me you will get the apartment facing the street where you hear the constant roar or cars passing by, and you just so happen to be right by the police station and down the street from the hospital so expect to hear your fair share of sirens. This does not bother me but if you are easily bothered by noise you might want to take that into account. But it goes without saying that it's a safe area though there is really no bad part of town in Weatherford. Neighbors keep to themselves, no noise issues. I have been here for about 3 months now and any problems I have had the nice maintenance man has fixed them very quick and without a hitch and does not make you wait to fill out some stupid form. That being said I did have a mouse and roach problem for about a month after all the rain we got. The complex has sprayed and closed off all of the areas for mice to get in and supplied the traps and now the problem has passed. So in summary, no this is not the nicest complex in the world but the location is great for Weatherford, the apartment itself is mediocre, small kitchen and cheap walls carpet and paint, but once moved in and settled could make a pretty cozy home.
