Property Ratings at Shannon Park
I have lived here for years and love this neighborhood. However, when I transferred to another apartment there were damaged cupboards in the kitchen and a big red stain on the living room floor which is laminate wood flooring. When I addressed the issue with the manager it was like, "meh." I was missing a rack in my oven and the knobs on my bathtub/shower are loose and fall off all of the time. Again, when I tried to address this issue with the manager at the time she said it would be a big cost to fix cupboards and I felt like it was a, "that's just the way it is" situation. My sliding glass doors let in so much cold air in the winter and so much how air in the summer and are not properly sealed. We have had the same washer and dryers for years that you have to work some type of voodoo magic just to get the machined to read your card. The handles on the dryers are broken and half of the the dryers do not work half the time. I have always just settled for this lifestyle and realizing this cannot be normal.
My cat and I have lived here Since 2012 and we enjoy it here. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, we have a Great Manger named Catolina and great Maintenance man named Tyler. As a team try get alot accomplished ,and for the first time Since I moved in there is alot being done. Alot of work from the two has been accomplished much faster even when Abraham was here alot was getting done, I guess when you Have a great Leasing Manager you know work will get done. Thanks to Catolina, Tyler, and Abraham keep up the great work!! Mr R. Gomez 107-S
I lived at Shannon Park for 8 years, 3 managers, and 3 maintenance guys. Carolina - the current manager is one of the best. Her maintenance guy, Abraham, is just as good. The property is kept up very well, the pool was always clean and sparkling, maintenance requests filled very quickly. The rents are very competitive - there aren't many apartment complexes in Tucson that have a nice sized yard! The property is perfectly located - near grocery and other retail needs, as well as good access to U of A, and downtown. For me, it was a perfect home.
My beautiful apartment was built in the 1960s! Brick construction, single level. I have 3 apartments adjoining mine & our doors & yards form a square. High wooden fences give us privacy. My apartment is 850 sq feet, 2 bedroom, 1 bath. It had new carpet when I moved in about 3 1/2 years ago. My patio is rectangle shaped. I have pots of lantanas in the yard.which is grass. 2 HUGE oleander bushes grow along 1 side of the fence and helps keep my semi-cool brick walls very tolerable during the hot summers (as does the air conditioning!). We do have a laundry room & beautiful pool. The complex has 90 apartments. It is soooo quiet here. I work & every day I come home it makes me happy! My rent is $745 per month, which was raised $15 in 3 years! Love it! So, that is my aportment's story & I am sticking to it! Oooh, forgot the hummingbird feeders hanging from the oleanders... so wonderful!
