My unit was infested with roaches from the day I moved in they had to do a deep clean and bug bomb (although they were less I still saw several roaches each week) then there were rats inside the walls of the apartment pest control put something in the walls to deter them but I’d still see rats hang near the building. The office staff was kind for the most part management changed twice I never got my mail key bc I did not have a mailbox , the door was ripped off and they refused to fix it and I had to put in a complaint with the post office who said it was the apartments responsibility so it never got fixed. Also had a neighbor wrongly report me for not picking up dog poop but I don’t even have a dog. Luckily the office waved the fee. Over all not worth it although the office did try to work with me the building was just too old and not well kept. Maintenance was fairly quick and usually came with in a day or 2.

My time was wasted due to the lack of proper communication and organization. I had set aside time to see a tour of these apartments, only to be turned away without any prior notice within 30 minutes of scheduling. I would strongly advise others to reconsider before scheduling an appointment here. Communication and professionalism are crucial, and unfortunately, Silver Creek Apartments fell short in both areas.

Upon my scheduled move-in at Silver Creek Apartments on March 15, 2024, I was dismayed to find the apartment in a deplorable state, not fit for habitation. Despite reassurances from management for immediate cleaning and readiness by the following day, I showed up to find these promises were unfulfilled, On March 16, 2024, the condition of the apartment upon inspection was unsatisfactory. Missing blinds on the window, unclean appliances, filthy tub, also the door handle broken on the microwave. Stove has stained surfaces indicate a lack of readiness for occupancy. The bedroom carpet was stain in multiple places. I am deeply disappointed with the condition of the apartment offered to me. It's disheartening to arrive, expecting a ready-to-move-in space, only to find it unprepared. Furthermore, the fact that my payment was accepted under these pretenses adds to my dissatisfaction. Silver Creek apartment knew the apartment was in an unprepared state for occupancy and still took my money. Due to the condition of the apartment, which includes uninhabitable features and security concerns, I have incurred additional expenses for alternative hotel accommodation. Now, I am currently homeless and Silver Creek doesn’t want to give me a refund. Run don’t walk, do not move here.

It appears that you had a less than satisfactory experience, and we want to assure you that we are committed to making the necessary adjustments to ensure that this does not happen again.
I got here towards the end of July & they have yet to give me my mail key or repair issues I reported upon move in. On move in day the office was unprepared for my arrival. I had to wait in the office for maintenance to change the locks. When I was given the keys the unit was disgusting. The flooring was lifted in areas & dirty w/ shoeprints, fridge was filthy, giant roaches on the ground, trash & broken pieces of wood were all over, carpet had foul cigarette odor & stains, etc. I was assured the flooring would be fixed & everything would be cleaned before I returned with movers later that same day. When I came back, it was cleaner than when I arrived, but it was a rush job. It was not a decent thorough clean you'd expect for a newly leased unit. On top of that, the AC was broken. It was unbearably hot. When I realized it wasn't cooling, the office was closed, & I had to call the operator to report the maintenance emergency. The lack of urgency on what they classify as an emergency was frustrating. Maintenance came the next day, leaving a big mess I had to clean. The AC still doesn't function well. I was told my mailbox key will be issued once I submit the move in inventory and condition form. I wasn't provided a physical copy of anything, so I had to fill out a PDF online. I provided the form via email and asked when I could expect what was reported to be fixed. I have been here over a month and still have not been provided my mail key or a proper explanation for why they can't provide it. I have been ignored, given the runaround, and lied to regarding my key and the repairs. They showed me a model unit that looked great but put me in a garbage unit that looked nothing like what I was shown. There is a noticeable slope in the ground throughout the unit. I've never been in an apt with such uneven, sloped flooring. It's so bad that the monitor stand on my desk swivels into the wall, my bedframe is out of wack because the floor isn't flat, and the vanity in my bathroom is super crooked. I smell cigarette smoke through my vents throughout the day and night. I have brought this up several times with management and have been ignored. My latest issue is a leak in the roof of my bathroom. Its leaking from the AC area in the ceiling, through the paint in the roof, behind the shower tile, and spreading out into the wall. The ceiling is discolored, and there is VERY bad mold growth. There are several other issues but I don't have room to fit in this review.

Apartment wide Cockroach infestation! Complex staff are rude and make excuses why they haven't addressed your issues. Slow response to work order, by slow I mean 6 months slow. Don't call the office, no one will ever pickup and the answering service apparently doesn't relay messages. If you go into the office to complain they will say the issue will get resolved but they will never get to it. You must mail a certified letter for any repairs needed as this is the only way they will get these moving without the excuses. I have black mold in my unit (building 2) and it took two weeks after a certified letter so they can just paint over. It is still bubbling and growing more. A/C was broken for a month and they didn't order the part until they received a certified letter. And once they fixed it, they stole my personal portable a/c that I had to go out and buy on my own. Very unorganized, rude, incompetent staff at this complex. Do yourself a favor and find a better apartment complex to lease from. FYI: Cockroaches still run this complex as of 06/24/23. If you want to greeted by hundreds of cockroaches every time you walk in the door, or find cockroaches running out of your appliances, electronics, cabinets, pantry, medicine boxes or from holes in wall, good luck. You have been warned

I lived there for six terrible months...I left right before holidays when mice started coming in. Had to call local health dept. maintenance is ok but the other tenants...unruly adolescents breaking and vandalizing everything at night. Peeping inside windows and a large influx of undesirable ppl...and NO Ms Carmen I won’t call to discuss this since you have a problem of hanging up the phone.

I've lived here for almost 3 years and have never had an issue that wasn't fixed immediately. Carmen and Karen are the best and will do whatever it takes to accommodate you. I recommend living here.

There's a huge cockroach problem that never gets solved, despite their claims to use pest control. And if you try to confront the manager Carmen about any issue, she handles it with the sensitivity of a cactus. It's almost impossible to communicate with the management. None of the issues that I've made multiple complaints about have been solved. And I'm usually told it's something I'm not doing correctly or a complete refusal to fix the problem. I advised that no one ever move here. I can't wait until my lease is up and I can live somewhere else.
Caugt four mice in one weekend! The manager would not even offer the reimbursements of my traps! She claims "their field mice that come in when its cold" ...fortnautely, my lease is up and I am out! Sadly, they charged me the entire month anyway despite my inconveineves and experience.
We have been blessed with Managers that are willing to keep their Tenants happy. Mandy and Carmen are exceptional when getting what needs to be taken care completed. They are on top of any issues and the timely mind set is definitely appreciated. Our 2 bedroom (newly renovated) apartment has everything we need; washer/dryer hook-ups, 2 full size bathrooms, pets are allowed, and a courtyard in which was very important for us. It's a clean, quiet , gated, and comfortable property. If you've by passed these apartments before I would give them a second look and allow the Ladies to assist you with your new "HOME". - The Williams Family
