Stretching from 6th Ave. to the West Side Highway, and up from 38th St. to Central Park South, Midtown West wraps up all you love about New York in the avenues leading up to the Hudson River.
The obvious tourist attractions reside in Midtown West, including Times Square and Rockefeller Center, but for residents who want to miss the crowds in this urban locale, look closer to the water for popular spots like Industry Bar and Totto Ramen. However, renters and tourists alike will appreciate the lights and sights of Broadway, and the recognizable architecture of old New York. Pocket parks dot the grid of Manhattan, easing the inescapable buzz of the city.
Like the rest of Midtown, Midtown West is a major business district. It’s a convenient place to rent if you work in the area and you want to avoid a long subway commute or prefer to walk.

Property Ratings at Silver Towers
I live on the 57th floor of the North tower. I'm very pleased with my apartment and the location. Amenities The amenities are great. The gym is extra but has great machines and never is crowded when I go. There is also a lap pool and tennis courts. Staff The doormen are all friendly and incredibly helpful. The front desk is very organized to get packages or to manage visitors. I have had very few maintenance issues, but when I have they come immediately and do a great job fixing things. I also had some issues with my cell working in the building early on and the building team was able to work with Verizon to make that work. The building is modern and very well maintained. Location I love where I'm located. You have a great view of the west side park along the Hudson. I also enjoy taking long walks down the greenway. Another great benefit is the Sunac below the building--super clean and easy to get quick groceries. Also, there are tons of restaurants in Hells Kitchen I've lived there six months now and still have lots more to try. Some people complain that it is far from the Subway (3 long blocks to Port Authority). However, there is a shuttle in the morning and evenings if you don't want to walk. I enjoy the walk to midtown so I find it not to be an issue at all. When the weather is bad, I do take the shuttle and it is super easy. Another thing I love is that I never hear my neighbors except when they are in the hallway. That being said, Hells Kitchen is a great location but very noisy. There are the cruise ship horns as well as the honking and sirens that are typical in the city. After 2 weeks, I don't even hear it anymore. Apartment My apartment is very modern and sleek with large floor to ceiling windows. All of the appliances work great. Every apartment comes with a washer and dryer. The one thing I don't like is the floors. They are beautiful, but scratch very easily. I dropped my keys on the floor and they nicked the wood. Just make sure you have rugs to cover them and you should be fine. Still it is hard in the entrance way. I don't know how they'll be about my deposit, but they seem to be reasonable people whenever I have had dealings with the staff. To sum it up, I really like Silver Towers and will probably continue living here when my lease is up.
We r renting an apt in the north towers. Given the fact that we are in one bedroom this is a spacious modern layout and high ceiling with great amenities like indoor pool, roof deck and top of the line gym. We r facing south and west views. The bay windows which offer an incredible views of Hudson River and the sun set. It is a very clean and neat bldg and has a great management that runs the show !
Finally a property that feels so " at home " compared to other building's I have lived in prior. I always have a smile on my face whether it's interaction with the front desk or the community. That sense of community makes living here that much better. The front desk is always extremely helpful and the security team is always active. The Maintenance crew are on call and the turn around time from asking for a repair to actually having a staff member address it is literally same day or actually... many times, even same hour or less. The services provided are outstanding and the events that the management team put together as well make it a pleasure to be a part of and look forward too. Great amenities, the park is awesome, Huge pool, Sun deck, gym as well as various classes to take part of from yoga to work outs. Also a children's playroom and lounge. The piers and Hudson river are 2 minutes away great to be during the summer time. Unlike other reviews I came across stating that the Silver Tower's is too far from everything like stores or such is ridiculous, not true at all. Really walking is good for you :) Actually it is perfectly located away from all the craziness of the city and the hustle and bustle, but also walking distance to Times Square, restaurants and every thing you can basically think of. The fact that there is a great supermarket / deli with a ton of food options and other items is more than enough as well as the neighboring freedom news convenience store. New dry cleaning has opened, and as well as a salon and SPOT dog day care all on the property. Its very unique here unlike some other properties that tend to be uptight or too white glove this is welcoming and comfortable. The consistent work on the property manager's part such as tenant satisfaction addressing concerns as well as the consitent email updates and building notifications are thoughtful and helpful. I highly recommend that if you are looking for new residence please take a tour of The Silver Towers, you won't regret it.
